Mr. Billy Gunn should've been WWF Champion over here... Mr. Bret Hart is over rated over here...

Triple H by a mile.
He has had so many boring, plodding matches and boring, plodding promos. He's like Jinder Mahal but with better connections. It's like he believes his own hype so others start believing it, too.

It's like he believes his own hype so others start believing it, too. Actually Triple H is more underrated than overrated IMO. He has worked hard his entire career and has had many great feuds and matches but people constantly try to tarnish his legacy because he's married to Stephanie. He didn't marry Stephanie until 2002 so you cannot say that from 95/2001 he didn't fight to get where he is. It's not as if he was a jobber before he married into the McMahon's. Jinder Mahal has been a jobber his entire career so how on earth is he comparable to Triple H?

Hogan is NOT overrated. He genuinely is responsible for everything that he says that he is. He has never been, or claimed to be, a great wrestler. In fact, I think he's slightly underrated in that regard. As far as work in the ring other wrestlers have stated that he is easy to work with physically (not talking about backstage). As for the matches, I agree that they aren't amazing, but nobody ever said that they were, and they aren't THAT bad. He may not be gracious, but everything that he says about himself being the man is true. If anything he isn't getting ENOUGH credit based on the way that the WWE likes to revise history based on who they are on good terms with.
You may not like the truth, but Hogan is every bit as important as he is given credit for.
Most overrated of all time: CM Punk. Never liked the wrestling, never liked the promos, never was the best in the world. Regardless of my opinion he did a little, but not nearly as much as he thinks or is given credit for. Others: Bret Hart - number 2 to Punk Barry Windham Shinsuke Nakamura - still haven't seen anything worthwhile Randy Orton - he may be great mechanically, but he is definitely boring Kenny Omega

Dean Ambrose - I know wiser heads are in the know of his incapabilities but there is something about him that is so putridly bad I'm amazed fans still cheer for him. He has no soul shall we say.
Seth Rollins - see Dean Ambrose tho not quite as bad.
Finn Balor - yup, him. He's a great presence but when all the fluff and bluster is over, I am yet to actually see a match where I'm left dying to see another one. You'd think he was Canadian the love the man gets. I get him, he is an engaging figure/personality and he's had some good matches in NXT, i just haven't seen a classic yet, when you'd think there would be countless given his reputation. And that finisher is one of the most anti-climax prone moves I've ever seen.
Those are the standout over-lauded chaps that come to mind to me.

Finn Balor for me. He's a decent mid carder but nothing more. For me he just lacks any intensity to be taken seriously. People wanting him to be the one to face or even dethrone Brock Lesnar to me is laughable. Lesnar would maul the guy to death.

Bray Wyatt for sure. Mediocre worker and not as good with promo work as everyone makes him out to be. Mid-card talent at best. Not even upper mid-card, let alone the main event.
Shinsuke Nakamura. Good, but not great. Definitely a main event talent, but not a Wrestlemania main event talent. Not the G.O.A.T. like everyone makes him out to be.

It's hard to say. A lot of wwe wrestlers these days are praised too much before bringing anything to the table. They have fans before they even have one wwe match these days because of NXT.

what i dont like is wrestlers that are pushed on fans because Vince likes them such as Roman Reigns, John Cena every time cena comes out on smack down JBL says he is the best ever and that is total bullsh*t, Vince gets a hard on for someone who is a decent size and has a look and says he is perfect so lets make him the future no matter what and the guy still after what 4 years his mic skills suck and his wrestling abilities are still the same nothing new. yet they are going to push these to clowns in a match for wrestlemania big deal.
there is so much more talent that deserves so much more.
