To all our our international customers I have a shipping update for you.
We now finally have discounted international shipping rates with the Post Office. These discounted rates are incorporated into the website now for: USPS First Class International USPS Priority International USPS Express International
First off yes I know that the international shipping rates are ridiculous but that's what the US Post Office charges. We also have discounted international UPS shipping rates but often those are more expensive than the Post Office and they do not offer a lower level international shipping service. Also both UPS and the Post Office raise their rates every single year on average about 5%.
So that being said these are actually quite substantial discounts from what we had previously. We're talking dollars off even on first class international with priority international and express international with even higher amounts off than before. So yes its still expensive but much better than it was before.
Canadian Customers - We discovered a glitch that was not allowing USPS Priority International to show as a valid shipping options for Canada only. It has now been resolved and that service level is now being offered.

Enough reason for a look at what RSC has for me! Every dollar less on Porto may be a figure more 😁

Thank you for looking into this, international shipping is just so cost prohibitive across most international borders. That said have just had a look at postage for 4 elites. That came to $54 so still a big no from me, that increases the cost of the order by more than 50%.
Have RSC looked into setting up a UK/EU shipping hub?

Have RSC looked into setting up a UK/EU shipping hub? I asked this question on the last Ringside Mailbox but it wasn't asked on the video.

Looks like there's been about $5-6 took off the cost of shipping for a single elite so fair play to them.

I'll echo that the shipping companies do charge a ton for intl. If you want to ship a single figure, loose, it's like $8-$12 minimum. If you want to ship one figure MIB, which means padding and a box and etc, like $24 minimum. Yikes.
Maybe RSC should offer loose shipping and use flat rate envelopes, but require you to agree that they're not responsible for scuff marks, bent limbs, etc.

Cool that they were able to do this for people outside the USA.

As a collector who has spend 1000s of dollars (maybe even 10's of 1000's) with RSC, I have always found the shipping to be fair. Expensive but fair, in that I never felt like they were trying to make money off shipping. This is great u have found another way to save us international collectors a couple of $$$. Now if u could just put the Hollywood figure up for pre-order so I can take advantage. Thanks

Just did a dummy order as this had me excited. Exact same price for me to get stuff to Australia as it was last week.

Fantastic news. I was wondering why I couldn't select USPS Priority International as an option.

When some guy on eBay can ship me a ring for $40 and they want $110 I'm not sure fair is the first word I'd choose. As someone who orders nearly everything online due to my location I know for a fact bigger heavier items can be shipped cheaper and don't understand the pricing what so ever.

As someone who orders nearly everything online due to my location I know for a fact bigger heavier items can be shipped cheaper and don't understand the pricing what so ever. Obviously you don't know how it works. A guy on eBay generally doesn't have a shipping company like UPS, FedEx, USPS have daily scheduled deliveries and pickups where the shipper will drop a trailer off for them to fill. A guy from eBay has to take it to their local hub or mailbox express store so their shipping is a whole lot cheaper. If they call the shipper to come pick it up it will cost more than if they took it to the carrier themselves. RSC have their shipping rates set by the shippers when they set up their accounts to cover all the services they are provided by the shippers...It's all programmed in their software. And because RSC is a one facility operation their shipping rates are much higher than a global company like Amazon, TRU, etc who will have much better shipping rates because of the amount of volume they will give the shipping companies.

Obviously that reply had the double whammy of being both condescension and not reading my original post. I've ordered off NBA NFL, eBay, WWE and many other different forms and companies from America and nobody has shipping rates like RSC to Australia.

You didn't say if it was the exact same thing you ordered last week. So for all we know you could have ordered more things this time making the weight of the package higher price. And if you think the NFL, NBA or the WWE are considered equal to RSC in any shipping companies eyes you are delusional. I am sure RSC doesn't generate nearly the volume of freight that those companies do so again they are going to have a much greater discounted shipping rate than RSC will get. In my 10+ years at UPS that was always my most asked question. People from small businesses would always ask me why their shipping rates were higher than the Walgreens, 7-11, Rite Aid, etc that was next door to them. And I was always told to tell them the same thing...And that was that they didn't give us the same amount of volume that they got from those franchised companies.

11$ to ship 5 8x10s to missouri is beyond ridiculous. I ebay for a living, should not cost you more than 5$ 18$ to ship 1 figure and 5 8x10s is ing robbery.

So they pay more than an eBay guy cos they ship more ht less than big companies cos they ship less? And yeah I definitely chose all different stuff to mess up the rate. I wouldn't see this post get excited and go see if I could afford the item I really wanted would I? The idea that a ring from a seller shipping for $40 is that price cos he drives to the post office and it's more than double from rsc because it's picked up by a courier is silly. If they don't ship that much they could cut out the middle man, if they ship in bulk they'd get business rates and save money. I've worked in distribution before and am not blind to these processes. When a $50 item cost $200 in my currency when shipping is added there is most definitely room for improvement.

If RSC would ship loose to those who ask for it, internacional clients would buy more for sure...
PS: I agree with those who say other sellers ship same items for less... If they can and RSC cant then they must be doing something wrong when negotiating with Fedex, DHL etc... I buy Anime figures from an american store (and not a big one PJ) who ship worldwide for free. I asked how they do it and the answer was a deal with Fedex.

Yeah I have admit PJ your argument isn't making much sense saying that Amazon etc can ship for less because they ship much more and Joe Bloggs from can ship for less because they ship less. Yet because Ringside are in the middle their shipping is more expensive?
Or am I reading it wrong?
