We all know by now that WrestleMania will be returning to the The Big Easy come this time next year, but the question still lingers. Where should WrestleMania 35 be held? And Why?
I want to know. Which city should be held responsible for The Show of Shows? Which stadium should host The Greatest Spectacle in Sports Entertainment? Why should The Grandest Stage of Them All be held in that city? Have fun.
My Response: Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Expandable attendance: 83,000+ 2019 Events: Super Bowl LIII Tourist attractions: Georgia Aquarium, Six Flags, Underground Atlanta, Olympic Park, CNN Center
WWE has proven they can have a successful event in Atlanta, even if it did take The Rock to push the viewers. Levi's Stadium showcased a very successful term year in 2015-2016, by hosting WrestleMania 31 and the Super Bowl (only months apart). Santa Clara had a mind boggling financial phenomena. It does seem if WWE does go this route that it's almost like they can get out of the south. 32 (Texas), 33 (Florida), 34 (Louisiana). But keep in mind, the booking of WrestleMania 27 (Atlanta) completely sucked, and somehow they still managed to pull in 70,000+ and the 4th leading all time viewing record in WrestleMania history (1,059,000). If booked correctly, WWE could easily break their viewing record. They could also pile in a good 85,000 people, which would be the highest attendance in WrestleMania since 32 in Texas. I say let's go back to Georgia, and give it one more shot.

Probably going to be in Los Angeles' new NFL stadium. WWE is trending towards putting Mania in tourist spots so that there is stuff to do for everyone not just WWE events.
34= New Orleans 35= Los Angeles 36= Las Vegas 37= Toronto 38= Miami 39= Atlanta 40= New Jersey
I can see them doing this, there's a good amount of tourist traps in all of those places, all while hosting Mania.

I think you are pretty spot on with your predictions. 36 or 37 is definitly being held in Vegas.

I agree. Wwe is definitely looking for tourist cities. Personally I had an amazing time with my family in Orlando. Disney , universal and all the wwe events. It would surprise me if they go back to Orlando sooner than later. I'm very curious to see where mania 35 will be held. My guess is Atlanta, Miami or LA. I would love to see it backnin toronto

Was hoping for a Minneapolis WM, but looks like that ship sailed.

Indianapolis Lucas Oil Stadium. Holds 70,000. WWE hasn't been in the Midwest since WM23 and not in Indiana since WM8. Plus its 90 minutes from where I live.
Also wouldn't mind them doing like they did at WM2 and hold it in different venues. Maybe have Raw on the east coast and SD on the west. Raw goes on first and SD closes out the event.

London. Because I want Arsene Wenger vs Jose Mourinho in a No Holds Barred match. And because it's about ing time, too. Wembley is just sitting there waiting.

Wembley would be incredible and there is so much to do in London.
If it ends up in Vegas in the next few years then my god I am going again.

One Wrestlemania over seas would be cool to see. See how other fans around the world respond like chants and cheers.

I wouldn't mind a WM at Wembley but not sure how that would work. It has to cater to the US audience. If the show is to start at 7:00 on the east coast that would be midnight in the UK. The show runs between 4 and 5 hours so that would mean people in the UK would have end at the earliest 4:00 AM in the UK. Maybe it could go on earlier and people in the US would have to adjust. Lets say it does start at 7:00 local time. That would mean people on the pacific coast would have to tune in at 11:00 AM for the main show and 9:00 AM for the preshow. I don't see the US audience being inconvenienced that much just to have a Mania overseas when there are plenty of options on this side of the pond.

They need to do a PPV in London as a test run and start it at like 1pm ET. See if people will tune in live or if everyone just watches later on the Newtwork.
I actually think London would be awesome. If Mania is going to run 7 hours, I'd rather it start around noon my time anyway. We watch the NFL on Sunday starting at like 10am for pre game shows. Why not wrestling? Especially since hockey playoffs haven't started yet and baseball is just starting when Mania happens. Nothing really to compete with it during the day.
Regardless, I think WWE sticks to the Super Bowl host cities and new stadiums. I'm expecting it back down here at Dolphin Stadium in "Miami" within the next 5 or so years since they did another round of renovations and are getting the Super Bowl again in 2020. Next time will be the first time my son is old enough to attend. So I'm looking forward to it.

I don't know why people want mania in the uk IMO part of what makes it special for me is going to the us and getting out of the UK

I personally would prefer them going back to start times of 1 or 2pm because going past midnight is a tad overbearing.
That said, London should definitely get one. Like someone else mentioned, people watch NFL games at 1pm and pregame shows starting at like 9am, so giving London one and having U.S. fans inconvenienced one time is not that big a deal.

Come to the UK. Wembley and Twickenham are bigger than the Citrus Bowl, so is Old Trafford (the footy stadium, not cricket) and the Principality in Cardiff!

Not gonna happen. Not with a company based in the US and core audience is the US.

All I am saying is what is so terrible about starting earlier? It gives fans a chance to not have be up into the wee hours of the night and allows people from the USA to travel for Mania as a unique experience. It's not like the WWE would feature all UK based talent or the show would be offensive to American fans. Long story short I see it happening within a few years.
