That is a great idea, either under Mattel or Other board, a stickied thread with current information i.e. announced lineups, release dates, photos posted by Mattel/WWE of coming figs.

Sub is a sub board. All of the first section of the main screen like the Lounge, for instance, have one and in that case it is the member introduction and banter boards. Some of the other sections have them as well, depending on the subject. Ohhhh. So it's...a board? "Sub" reeks of sycophantic reddit speak. That place is gross.

The term "subforum" existed long before Reddit was ever around.

The term "subforum" existed long before Reddit was ever around. I guess he refers to the abbreviation "sub". The abbreviation probably was a case of our forum not handling long subject titles...

If there were enough Hasbro WWF fans interested, I think a case could be made for a thread on the Mattel board devoted entirely to the latest information on the Retro WWE line. It could be called "Mattel WWE Retro Figures Thread (For Hasbro Collectors)" or something like that. Of course, there would still be findings posts elsewhere on the board. Hasbro collectors could then bookmark it and there would be no need for them to use the search function on a daily/weekly basis. That would be very cool! Yeah this is a good idea, I would like it if it's possible. Whilst I like to see the new basics & elites, I wouldn't buy them - it's only because I still have my hasbro (82 of the 91 released - not including mail aways or rereleases) that I will be collecting all of the retros. I tell myself it's for my son who's due next month!

Hasbro/Retro And a LJN separate boards would be great.

I still think this is a great idea, it would let people who are into just ECW or just Toybiz find the topics they want easier and have a more focused community to talk about them in.
I don't know how much effort is for a moderator to make this happen but I hope it's looked into.
Also, if they do this, they should move Jakks to the same sub-board.

Surely its not that hard.
Seperate boards for all the different brands. LJN, HASBRO are a must (The most popular figures of all time) We can have other subs for REMCO, JUSTOY, SAN FRAN, PLAYMATES

For me, the original Hasbro figure discussion isn't too hard to find since there's typically less than a dozen threads with new posts I need to skim over on this board. The problem would be trying to find info about the "Mattel" retro Hasbros under the Mattel sub or finding stuff on customs in the "customs" sub. Way too many topics and posts to keep up with those, so I really don't look at them but would like to keep up on the retros and customs.
I really think an anything related to Hasbro sub would be ideal for many.

Just a heads up for anyone that didn't know already and was waiting for them, the MOC photos of all 6 S2 Retros have surfaced in the Mattel board.
