Chappelle's Show was such a staple of my teenage years. This hurts.

Cancer. Rest In Peace. I'm picturing it now, Charlie Murphy walks through the pearly gates when he hears a familiar voice call out "Charlie Murphy! Darkness is here everybody!" And then another familiar voice softly says "Shirts vs Blouses round two."

I feel so sad for his kids. First losing their mother, now this.

Not only is CB4 one of my favorite movies of all time I love Black Jesus as well. I'm in the casual boat with Chappelle's Show but there's no denying how funny he was. I was shellshocked when I found this out and actually really sad.

Definitely sad to hear. He was one of the best parts of Chappelle Show, and for being the brother of someone as big as Eddie was, he did a good job at carving out his own place in the comedy world.

Listening to Charlie telling a story was like hanging out with an old friend or your coolest Uncle. Like most I was introduced to him through the Chappelle show, his 'True Hollywood Stories' were a staple of my Teenage years like somebody else had said. Seriously, they were probably the most quotable skits of the 2000's. I loved his characters like Buck Nasty, and his very 1st appearance in the Chappelle show skit "Mad Real World" He'll definitely be missed. And he'll always live through Eddie's boisterous laugh that they shared. RIP bud. Thanks for all the laughs.
