The Rock does not get injured versus Cena at WM 29, and is able to set-up Lesnar feud for WM 30 , which leads to taker not fighting Lesnar and Have him Fight Bray Wyatt(The version of Bray still worth watching), and Cena in the main event vs Orton and Daniel Bryan instead of Batista. That's a big chain of events lol

Rob Van Dam wins the title at No Mercy '01.
The Invasion angle started going downhill shortly after anyways. I would have loved to see them just say screw it and put the belt on RVD when he was at his most over.

Two that immediately come to mind. Owen Hart goes to WCW with his family in late 97', or right after the Breakdown 98' PPV. Seriously, they did NOTHING with him after that, and look at what ended up happening in the end. Chris Benoit retires early. Either in 05', or 06', and gets serious treatment for whatever he's battling with.

I definitely may have become a Roman Reigns fan if he snapped and started beating the hell out of himself with a chair. Ah man what the hell, you know what I mean lol Maybe it was your subconscious secretly slipping out.

Ah man what the hell, you know what I mean lol Maybe it was your subconscious secretly slipping out. Probably, I was laughing my ass off when Braun was trying to kill reigns as if I was supposed to show simpathy to a guy that ended one of my childhood heroes career.

It's so odd how similar Benoit and Daniel Bryan are it's kind of scary.

Punk breaks The Streak at Mania 29. He deserved it so damn much. That match was Takers last great WWE match. So why not go out with a bang.
It should have main evented and Punk should have broken the streak point blank. I was there live and at many points in the match the crowd was in punks favor way more than Takers. The reaction would have been insane.

I would probably have Eric Bischoff and his team actually buy WCW in 2001.

I'd love to see an alternative universe where Edge ended the streak at Wrestlemania 24.

Swagger goes over ADR at Wrestlemania 29. I loved the gimmick and story line. Zeb was gold.
No one's fault but his own that it went the other way, though.

I know it says one, but there's just too many to pick only one for me...
1) Benoit retires in 2005, hopefully preventing the events n 2007 from unfolding 2) Owen goes to WCW with Bret in 1997, preventing his death at Over The Edge 3) Shawn Michaels doesn't take that back bump on the casket at RR '98 (But still cleans up in terms of drug use etc.) 4) Eric Bischoff buys WCW in 2001 and makes it viable competition for the WWF again 5) Sting beats Hogan clean at Starrcade '97 and Hogan retires shortly after 6) CM Punk retains the WWE Championship at RR '13, loses it to Cena at Mania 29. He wins MITB and Bryan wins the title from Cena at SummerSlam. Punk cashes in on Bryan around Night of Champions 2013. Bryan wins the Rumble and he and Punk main event Mania 30 and Punk drops the title to Bryan. 7) Taker retires at Mania 28 at 20-0

AOL-Time Warner merger never happens.
Hypothetical implications: WCW continues into the 2000s. TBS has the option of expanding their wrestling programing portfolio by picking up ECW when WWE moves to Spike. TNA/Impact never exists.

the main one for me would be Hogan vs Flair at WM8! I spent years reading the mags debating who was better. this was the one BIG match that didnt get its due on PPV when Flair came to WWF!

There are so many to choose from but I'm just going to stick to one this year but not necessarily one for all time. Goldberg doesn't beat Owens due to interference by Lesnar. Kevin beats Chris at WM Brock still beats Goldberg. Then sets up a match I really want to see in Brock vs Owens where Brock could have won the title there. I just feel like Owens got did wrong.

RVD does not lose the WWE title on Raw in the triple threat match against Cena & Edge. Yeah, I know. He was being punished for a weed bust. I don't care. He was white hot and a lengthy title run would have been better than either Cena or Edge.
Punk either beats Rock at RR to set-up a triple threat at WM OR after losing the title, Punk participates in and wins the RR match to once again set-up a WM triple threat main event.

Royal Rumble '13: Punk vs. Rock. Punk retains. I'd then have Taker win the rumble.

Kevin ing crapting ing stupid Nash doesn't show up after Punk wins at Summerslam. Also he doesn't put Triple H over immediately after for baffling reasons, and doesn't feud with the heat vacuum that was ADR. Basically I'd have actually given punk a real shot at the very top, at least headlining a Wrestlemania. There's a lot of little things I'd change on this particular subject.

Wrestlemania 6.... Hulk Hogan Vs .... Bastion Booger?
That's right folks, the torch is passed down but this time not to the Ultimate Warrior, instead its passed down to Bastion Booger who sets off a chain of events that starts the Booger World Order and changes wrestling forever
