Never saw this footage before, looks like it was filmed for WWF Mania. Cool views of the 2nd case! I noticed they had the 3 mailaways at the end of the last shelf. It's blurry, but Bret doesn't look like any of the released figures. Almost looks like black tighs on upper and lower body. I'm sure it's one of the standard mailaways unless it's the prototype from the ad. But can anyone else make out what is it? How I wish everyone had been walking around with great cameras back then. You see the mailaways around :22 seconds in. Hasbro booth

I remember seeing this on display at our local Fox affiliate's Fox Kids Club Expo around that time, but I was about 10 years old so I couldn't really give any details. Just about the only thing I can remember was that was my first time seeing the IRS figure.

Had seen that display before in a picture. Looks to me like the released mail-away Bret; pink pants. Attachment Deleted

At 0:44 Todd gets left hanging hard on that failed high-5 attempt.
It's really tough to tell, they never give you a clear shot of the figure and the degraded VHS quality and color does not help.
My guess would be it's either the released version or the prototype that was featured in the mail order ad form.

Thanks for the screen cap ruby. I can make out the pink tights now. This was a cool find, as I'd only ever seen the footage that aired during the PPV and I think was on VHS. I don't currently have the network, but anyone know if that Fan Fest segment is still intact on there from WMX?
I never knew they had the purple and blue cards in that case neither, as I don't think they were visible in the other footage. And I always assumed the red cards were the newest series on display since they were the current newest in stores at the time.

Ugh, just wanted those bafoons (well not Macho, Todd and the idiot with the sandwich board) to move aside and show the figures.

WWF Wrestlemania X Fan Fest was March 1994, the back of my blue carded Marty Jannetty card reads "(c) 1993".

I guess they may have had the cards and stuff prepped by late 93' then. But weren't ready for mass release. I don't think the purple cards came out until late spring/early summer 94' or at least in my area that was the case. Also it's just the initial 6 blue cards in that case, no HBK or Razor.
I got the 3 red cards I hadn't been able to find yet for Easter that year (Taker, Bret, Yoko) on Apr. 3.
