You may remember awhile back I posted on here that TNA needed "major acquisitions", so when I heard that Matt Morgan had signed a couple of weeks ago I was incredibly happy - and he seems to be doing well on TV. Bottom line, I remember BFG 2009, him vs. Kurt Angle. If it hadn't have been for the whole 'incident' starting in 2010, I think Morgan would have gone on to be the face of the company.
I hope they use him properly, and I hope I gets the belt put on him, anyone else share my passion here?

Problem is I doubt JJ is going to do anymore with him than what run he already got with TNA.

I did like Matt Morgan in 2009. Could have been a top star in TNA at the time. I honestly don't have much interest in seeing Matt Morgan in 2017. But hey, good for him for getting a job in Impact Wrestling.

A guy they need to put the belt on before it's too late like joe. If it isn't already

surprised at how long morgan's tenure in the wrestling industry has been...even if it's been fairly on again/off again appearances.
i liked his angle against hogan (stealing his robe) before they dropped it.

I was always a huge Matt Morgan fan and I'm glad to see him back.
It seems he's immediately been put back into the Main Event and I think he might eventually be champion but to me he was always a guy that didn't need a title to be a top star or a threat to anyone in the company.

Matt Morgan is that guy that TNA could have made their own, like AJ styles before him. A brand wrestler, like Ric Flair, Sting for WCW or Undertaker and Stone Cold for WWE. They just make him feel like another big guy that doesn't deserve the title. They give it to other guys that they think will shoot them right up there with the WWE.
TNA executives: "Alberto El Patron thank you for signing with TNA Impact, here's your money and a complimentary World Championship Belt!"

Big Matt Morgan fan here but he is showing slight ring rust that match against Magnus last week was a joke.

I remember one year thinking Morgan vs Sting vs Styles would be a really good match for Bound for glory

Morgan has shown flashes of greatness over the years, but they've been very sporadic.
There's a time when I thought maybe he could've been something in TNA, but it's never panned out for whatever reason.
He may have something to offer, but I won't hold my breath.

If they built it up right he could have some killer fights with Moose or Lashley.
TNA doesn't take enough time to build things up, everything is always on fast forward.

I'm surprised WWE never signed him again, he deserves another chance.

Matt Morgan is someone who should have been a bigger star than he was. He had everything it took to be a big star in the business. When he left wwe for tna I thought to myself "wwe's loss is tna's gain. While TNA used him much better than wwe, Morgan never really was a full-fledged main eventer in TNA like he should have been. Also Morgan should have gotten at least a short run with the TNA world title. Hopefully he will now that he is back.
