What teams would make a list of the top tag teams to never step inside a WWE ring? Right of the top of my head, I would have to include the Harlem Heat, the Young Bucks, and the American Wolves. I include the Wolves because they never made it past NXT. What other teams would you include on this list?

American Wolves for sure. I was such a big fan of theirs in ROH and now I forget they exist since they're floundering away in TNA.
I can only imagine the matches they'd be having with guys like American Alpha, DIY, Revival, Gallows/Anderson

Probably a controversial opinion but I personally feel like if the Young Bucks are considered one of the best teams never in WWE then the bar is pretty low. They suck. I've never seen a Young Bucks match I've enjoyed. They make no sense. They just flip around, super kick people, kick out a bunch of times, and barely sell anything.
Harlem Heat is a good one. Not sure if they've never even had one match in WWE though. I wouldn't be surprised if they did like one match where they reunited for once. Like some random Smackdown where King Booker had Stevie Ray as a surprise partner. Kinda like when they reunited the Rockers for one night.

Midnight Express (Lane & Eaton or Eaton & Condrey) Harlem Heat
Those are the correct answers

Harlem Heat for sure.
I'm glad someone mentioned Beer Money because that is very true.

Basically the whole ROH tag division of about 7 years ago. I used to love how they'd run like Briscoes vs Kings of Wrestling in the main event sometimes. I don't think WWE really "gets" tag wrestling. Teams are viewed almost more like an angle to get one of the guys over than an entity in itself. Real shame since I think a lot of dudes are just better off in a team.

I always preferred AMW to Beer Money as a "tag team."
Storm and Roode were above being thrown together like that.
