My local Walmart sells this retro line so fast. I swear they are gone within hours and then we go a whole week or two of nothing. I would love to hear Mattel make a comment on the line, is it a huge success or not. I can't imagine this line being very expensive to produce either. I just hope they get to make some key figures that Hasbro missed out on.

I had to get Undertaker and Warrior off of eBay a few days ago because I have yet to see them on the shelves in my area.

Walmart has shrunk its toy aisles so mich in the past few years, I honestly see any other exclusives becoming online only. Unfortunatly the rush of walking into a store for a hunt has only a few years left. Amazon is moving here and is offering same day shipping, which will put a massive choke hold on local brick and mortars and even large corporationd. What a tangent to have to get to the conclusion that Mattel must make a retro ring! I hope this is the case, I don't understand why it isn't already. If we could just buy everything online at retail price I think a lot of people would be happy. And Mattel would make more money too. It's win win. All the time I wasted a few weeks ago just trying to find Undertaker and Warrior, I would have been better off waiting a few weeks and getting them on ebay for like 15 bucks a piece and saved the time and headache of running to walmarts.

But we shouldn't want this. Why? Thats alot of jobs lost. If you are a MOC collector, good luck with shipping abd handling. If you are a QC nut, its a gamble for good-perfect paint apps. But to me, the biggest issue would be the hundreds of empty buildings that would liter the country.

I would buy a Hasbro-style modern ring if they made one.

A part of me feels it would be somewhat modern looking with how many of the figures are from after the original Hasbro line time frame.
