Never jump to conclusions. Remember innocent until proven guilty. Yea, OJ proven that statement is pointless.

everyone seems quick to judge Sean Walt man all the time. Wonder if anyone in the thread will retract their statements now? To be fair, the idea of a former drug addict relapsing and trying to deny it isn't exactly the most unbelievable thing in the world. It's great to see that wasn't the case this time, but I don't think anybody is wrong for actually believing it happened.

Not anymore I'm afraid.. It's guilty until proven innocent.. And I'll tell you why.. I actually had this same thing happen to me last year.. Cops pulled me over on a routine traffic stop, at some point in time they saw flakes of white substance ALL OVER my floor board. So they illegally pulled me out of my truck and tested the substance. I was arrested for cocaine possession and tampering with physical evidence because it was scattered all over the floor.. Mugshot was on 3 different websites, I lost a job opportunity, my character took a giant hit.. Family in other states found out. No one believed me. Two months later the lab result showed that the ENTIRE 2.2 grams of evidence was doughnut icing. Never let a cop illegal search you or your vehicle.. That sounds horrific and pity you couldn't have sued for character damage and emotional distress. In the process of a lawsuit as we speak.. Wrongful arrest, illegal search and seizure.. along with pain and suffering, loss of wages, and malicious prosecution.. People say they usually let a cop search their vehicle because they're not doing anything wrong and they have nothing to hide.. That couldn't be further from the POINT of not giving a cop permission to search your vehicle.. Their job isn't to serve and protect anymore than it's arrest and collect.. Their road side drug testing kits have a 30% fail rate.. They search your car and decide they see a "suspicious" powder on your floor, they're going to test it.. And then your fate is no longer up to right or wrong, it's in the hands of these faulty test kits.. And all a cop needs to place you under arrest is probable cause.. Lucky for me, they pulled me out of my vehicle when they saw the powder.. Because I didn't give them permission to search my vehicle.. Which is your right under the 4th amendment. EDIT*** And I can almost guarantee you that X-Pac will be filing a suit on this.

Figures I would click on this and see the threats of lawsuits.
America has become a trigger happy lawsuit society who will sue over anything.

Figures I would click on this and see the threats of lawsuits. America has become a trigger happy lawsuit society who will sue over anything. Hey man, I want YOU to get wrongfully arrested.. Seriously, you should go to jail for 2 or 3 days over something you didn't do.. Then once you find someone to help you post the $800 maybe even $1,000 bail.. You gotta go hire an attorney.. That's upwards of $2,000 sometimes more.. This of course doesn't include the hours you didn't work while wrongfully incarcerated.. Or the job you lost because you were in jail.. Or the stress of waiting 2-3 sometimes 4 and 5 months on a verdict.. Or the arrest which is on your record REGARDLESS of outcome.. At this point we're sitting at a cool $3,000 dollar mistake made by a couple cops, not including anything else.. And you're sitting there saying it's a flaw in SOCIETY for WANTING to recoup what they've lost over a detrimental mistake made by your local law enforcement? A mistake that is getting ready to follow you for years and years and YEARS. Yeah, my man.. You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Go on somewhere with that non sense.

You are 100% right with this. Hell I've been to jail and WASN'T wrongfully convicted it is no fun almost $2,000 dollars in fines, court costs, and probation fees. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to go through all of that for something I DIDN'T do. He has every right to file a lawsuit, not to mention being famous the whole world knows about it.

I'm right there with you. I also hate the cowboys on the force that give the badge a bad name. I have cop friends and that's what they call those types.

I don't mean to trivialise what you went through because it sounds really bad, but the powder being donut icing made me chuckle.

Word™How you gonna have 2.2 grams of donut icing all over your floorboard and no ants in your car? Also, if you had kept your car clean...this wouldn't have happened. Now, is this a story of police abuse or a PSA for Armor-All? Either way, obvious sarcasm is obvious.

Like telling people the story is always so weird because the punchline is outrageous.. One of the main reasons NO ONE believed me when it happened was because it was completely absurd. Daniel Rushing? If so you look terrible for 29 years old BRUH! This guy is an inspiration to me. I was so RELIEVED to see someone go through this exact situation.. His story broke across social media last July just a few weeks before my case was dismissed.. And I was so happy to read about him, you have no idea! Man I've thought about that over and over again.. 1) I had eaten the doughnut only 2 weeks prior to the arrest, in regards to the ants.. And 2) my plan DAY OF arrest was to go and sweep out my truck.. But it literally rained all day, and I was arrested that night after a downpour..

Figures I would click on this and see the threats of lawsuits. America has become a trigger happy lawsuit society who will sue over anything. If anything, America has become a trigger happy police state, where mistakes are made by law enforcement, and there are NO repercussions for cop's behavior or faults 99% of the time. The sad thing is, I personally know of several incidents where the police were in the wrong, lawsuits were filed, and no justice was ever served, because of our corrupt judicial system.
