This is purely from a "OH PLEASE GOD!" stance.
The new era seems to be an era where good looking female superstars are dating and marrying a male superstars (or at least dating them). I'd take my chances in this era if it meant dating Becky, Alexa, or Summer. The Ruthless Agression may have had models turned wrestlers whereas these are well above average (yet not industry modelesque women), but I don't recall seeing or hearing abotu anyone other than Torrie and Stacy dating wrestlers.
So, I'm taking my chances in the New Era. Plus I'm 5ft 10 and cruiserweight sized. If I had any skill at all to make it to WWE, I'd have to assume it was based on work rate. So this is the only era that I'd have a fighting chance of being more than just a jobber.

Anytime after 97. More likely to win a title since they seemed to change hands every week.

Depends.
You'd get a better pay day now, and go further as there's less talented people to compete with and lower expectations. You'd be putting on far greater quality matches in the New Gen and have the likes of Taker/Bret/Shawn to work with in their primes. You'd have the most interesting product, storylines and tons more eyes on you in the AE.

Was easier to get over in the ruthless aggression era so I'd say that

New Era. Its the safest, less travel dates are required than previous generations, and average pay is better.

Ruthless Aggression. Because you have the best cumulative roster.
- We still had the Attitude Era guys like Triple H, Undertaker, Big Show, Kane, Jericho and Kurt Angle.
- We got back Shawn Michaels full time.
- We had Mick Foley, The Rock, and Hogan do stints.....
- We saw the rise of Edge to the main event, and the creation of Randy Orton, Batista, John Cena.
The only thing you really missed out on was Stone Cold Steve Austin. His career ended real early on in the Attitude Era. A lot of those dream matches would have involved him, but it wasn't meant to be. He was around in other ways, the Sheriff/Commissioner angle with Bischoff, but he wasn't wrestling.
Brock also dipped out early on, but we at least got the matches with Cena and Taker.

Would've been a lot of fun being a part of the golden age in the 80s. I'd be dead but would've been an awesome ride

New Generation Era, but in Japan.
Matches against or with some of my faves all happened through the Nineties, so that'd be my pick - even though I resemble ROH's Beer Cuty Bruiser...

-- IMO, the "Golden Era" will always be the 50s & 60s black & white era. The 80s in the WWf was the "Rock & Wrestle Connection" era due to MTV's heavy influence on the product, that help launch Vince's company.
But I digress....
I picked the Attitude Era. Would've been so much fun back then. Not so much in the WCW locker room, but in either ECW or WWf's locker room.

You missed a couple of the less popular eras. 1963β1979: WWWF. 1979β1982: Transition. 1982β1993: The Golden Age. 1993β1997: New Generation Era. 1997β2002: The Attitude Era. 2002β2008: Ruthless Aggression Era. 2008β2013: PG Era. 2014β2016: The Reality Era. 2016βPresent: The New Era. Based on the active Championship Title Belts at their respective eras, I pick the Ruthless Aggression Era and PG Era. Thank you. Someone who appreciates the other periods as well. I personally would have killed to have worked in the transition period. Many of wrestling's most ingenious bookers and workers were still alive, so there was plenty of opportunities to learn the business at the highest levels and preserve the methods that worked for the last 4 decades. Secondly, I would kidnap Terry Bowlea and cut off one of his legs from the knee down. That way he doesn't become the guy to ruin pro-wrestling. Finally, I buy into WWF and hopefully get hired as a booker.
