This guy has it all, great look, great gimmick, good in-ring, decent promo cutter but I feel like having Paul Ellering with him would make waves for his career. Great entrance and theme, can't see why he won't be a huge star. What are your thoughts on him?

I dont see it. Havent seen enough from him yet. Had heard of him but only introduced to from his NXT debut. I see him having a decent run with his look and gimmick there. If everything goes right for him, a main roster call up and a nice mid card niche. Maybe a few main event runs at the right time. But i dont see him as a top 10 in the company guy ever.

The only problem I foresee with his future is he wouldn't even be the only "creepy cult leader" in the WWE but honestly I can see him being a thing.

Too early to tell. Like ive said with guys and gals on NXT where people tout them as the next huge star whenever they impress in their first month, give them some time on NXT to develop. I am very impressed with Aleister Black, hes impressed me more than i expected, but give the guy some time before saying hes gonna be a huge star his first month in.

I dont know if he's cut a promo yet in NXT but I'm quite enjoying this loner deal, he doesnt say much kicks ass and goes home. Hes got a good look, entrance and move set. As far as saying hes gonna be the top guy, its too early to tell.

It's impossible to judge anything until a guy makes it to the main roster. You can never truly anticipate how a guy will be booked on RAW or SD anymore.
Does he have the ability to be something great? Sure. But it's all about whether Vince decides to utilize him properly.

So far, I don't see it. Doesn't stand out from every other vaguely gothy or tattooed wrestler over the years. Maybe in time, though.

WWE needs to put an end to this MMA style quickly. I'm getting tired of kicks and forearms. It was cool years ago when a small handful of wrestlers used them, and now it seems everyone used them. They once helped define a wrestler, like Tajiri, but its too much now.
To me, Black is a good wrestler. But he has no character. He might as well be Nailz combined with Tajiri.

I like him but there needs to be changes to his character. First he needs a better theme song. They have enough creepy character, what they need him as is a REBEL.

If wrestlers had stock, I'd be buying a ton in Aleister Black. He's got great theme music, killer entrance, and he can deliver in the ring. Keep him quiet and mysterious. The less he says, the better.
If I had one critique, it'd be he needs to tone up a lil. Especially his arms.

His debut match with Almas was kinda sloppy and wasn't too great.
I've seen good stuff from him outside of NXT. He's good, but I don't see him being a huge star in the future. Roode is the only guy in NXT who has main event potential, and when he gets signed, Adam Cole as well.
Other than that, NXT looks like they are producing more mid-carders than main-eventers.

WWE's Universe is always going to be larger than life characters, much the same as Marvel's Cinematic Universe. Aleister Black is definately a marketable character, but could still use some toning to make him larger than life.

If what I read about him a few weeks back turns out to be true (eventually being on 205 Live) that would lead me to think they don't have huge plans for him yet.

What was the deal with him going on Main Event? Idk whether it was to please the European crowd but maybe save that for house shows?
