Just like the title says, what are your most satisfying moments as a collector? Mine most defiantly are either upgrading an outdated current roster figure in my display. Or replacing my basic place holders with there elite counterparts. What are some of yours?

Finding a figure I've been hunting for at the store, easily.

Great question. Mine was opening the box that my 2k14 Warrior figure arrived in. Great to own a figure that only 15 in the world will own.

Last year randomly typing in "Defining Moments Bret Hart" into an auction site through boredom and finding a MOC listing which had just been put up 7 minutes prior, Buy it Now for £30.

realizing id rather have quality over quantity. I cut down A LOT on the mattel line and standard retail stuff in general (besides neca). I do still but standard retail stuff but now ill more likely than not spend $80 on ONE REALLY well done figure vs buying 4 half way decent standard.

Just anytime an announcement is made for a figure I really want and when I finally get my hands on it. (At the moment im dying to hear officially about e52 D'lo Brown). Usually big toy conventions are quite satisfying to me.

I managed to pick up a "rare" Mattel figure (although not to that degree).. and it's a pretty awesome feeling to know you have a figure that's pretty hard to come by.

I mostly hunt at Walmart late night so whenever there's a case on the pallet that in itself is pretty satisfying. But more specifically the times when I open a case of something totally unexpected. Recently was finding a case of BP45 at a Walmart that usually never gets anything before any reports anywhere else. Another time being when I found the Walmart WM display a couple months back before it was on the floor.

I know what my next satisfying moments will be: when Mattel announces and Ringside lists for pre-order Kurt Angle and the Hardys

My favorite moment collecting? Good topic. Well, I got a couple.
1) The day I decided to start. E22 Rock caught my eye, and I haven't looked back.
2) They announced Shockmaster for SDCC. I live in Massachusetts, so I knew I wouldn't be able to go. An artist friend of mine had a table, and I asked him to keep an eye out for it. Grab me one if possible. When he called and told me he had it, I damn near dropped the phone with elation.

1. The RSC hurricane sale happened a couple months after I started collecting.
2. Not a super awesome figure but, I found papa shango hidden behind cleaning supplies when E28 was hitting.
3. Surprise of Wrestle mania HBK and Bret Hart in target before I started following this site and new they were being released.

Collecting Series 1 of WWE Mattel Retro MOC, putting them in Zoloworld cases and hanging up on the wall.
Really satisfying to be able to display them without worry.

I went to WrestleCon last year in Dallas, which I live 90 miles from. So instead of spending a lot more money for a hotel for the weekend, I chose to drive back and forth everyday. Wasn't fun, but I got to spend extra money on autographs and attending many events. So on my first day at WrestleCon, I filled up my trunk and backset of my car with about 20 something figures in plastic bins. I finished getting them all signed at around 5pm that day before going over to NXT TakeOver, and that was just really cool to see I had acquired that many autographs in just a few hours, when ordinarily, it would have taken years to get all of them individually.

Finding new figures in unexpected places like Walmart Supermarket Edition is satisfying. Then there's donating figures to Salvation Army and at Christmastime. That always inspires good feeling-ness.
