Great topic. My favorite is probably when I picked up a WM Razor figure while cutting through the toy section on my way to grab lunch. It had been 15+ years since I had last bought a figure as a kid, and I felt like one again as I ripped open the packaging in the parking lot.
Second favorite was finding the Warrior/Shango two pack. Two absolutely awesome figures, and two of my favorite wrestlers as a young kid.

It was a short while ago when my figure forum friend, Camp Cornette, brought to my attention that Ken Shamrock was a strong possibility and slated for Elite Series 52.

Seeing a wrestler on TV I want a figure of. Seeing pics of new elites. Getting new elites in hand.

There's 3 for me:
1. Finding E38 APA and Macho Man in B&M for a tenner each (I had bought a few figures before but this moment is really what got me into intensely collecting.)
2. Hunting and finding the last E47 AJ Styles in my local store, I nearly gave up then saw the SDL logo at the top and got the worker to get it. I literally marked out.
3. Finally setting up my collection in a detolf and seeing how beautiful it really is (up until this point I had them just stacked up in my elite scale ring)

For Mattel: soon as I seen Randy Orton elite series 2 and his summerslam 2004 figure and now Randy Orton elite series 49 I can't wait to get the figure I want to buy it the now but I'm waiting to smyths gets it Instock

Probably finding the NWA Road Warriors at TRU or both Kerry Von Erich figs at Kmart discounted to $5 or something ridiculous low like that.

Headswapping that awful RSC Nash head with an E16 one. For clarification, I mean awful in terms of accuracy. His hair was bleach blonde with that attire and he almost never wore a ponytail with it. The scan/sculpt itself was pretty good.
Also, swapping Basic 68.5 Sting onto HOF Sting was nice too. As was WM 14 HBK to WM 12 HBK (ponytail swap as well).
Hell, basically any parts swap that made the figure infinitely better. It's a great feeling. But it's also somewhat annoying because it always makes me think "I shouldn't have to do this".

I think my favorite moment was when the first DM Sting was announced, I literally felt goosebumps. Sting happens to be my favorite of all time and I felt that there weren't really any good figures that captured him correctly, I still to this day believe the closet we got to a perfect Sting is the Starrcade one. I'm hoping Mattel makes some adjustments to future Sting figures.

When Amazon gets them figures and every time a Cesaro figure gets announced... basic and elite.

Great Question!
1) Having that Elite figure in hand. I open it and having that plastic smell, and looking at the awesome wrestler and attire.
2) Find this forum. Having people on this forum that love these WWE Mattel figures too. And especially those that post teasers images and heads up about a released figure. Love you guys!
3) When Mattel shows us images of future figures. When I open that link and I see those images of the future Elites....it's like Christmas for me!
