Anyone else excited to see where they go with this?

Yes, though it would have been the perfect time to bring back the Shattered Dreams.

Glad he turned heel, wasn't a big fan of Golden Truth to begin with.

I am sure that all this is gonna lead is to him losing to Truth in a match on the next Raw PPV, and that's about it.
I really don't see any IC Title reign, or main event spot happening for old Goldy in the year 2017. The fact that he is still hired by the WWE is actually quite remarkable.

I was no fan of the Golden Truth but splitting them up benefits no one and will probably be the first step in both of them eventually being released.

Hopefully this is a way to give Goldust a nice send off. He's been wrestling about 30 years now. His return match vs. Orton was awesome and The Rhodes vs. The Shield was awesome. Really think wwe dropped the ball not letting him and Cody feud after they broke them up.

Both Truth and Goldust are up there in age. So I assume this is so they can have a retirement angle for one of them. Most likely Goldust because he's wanted to retire for awhile now, but stuck around for one reason or another.

I know it won't happen but I'd love to see a return of heel creeper goldust with the wig and the robe.

Give him one more run with the IC belt!! That'd be a good sendoff in my book.

When was the last time a tag team break up ever lead to anything positive for either member? Not counting The Shield because I see them as a faction and not a tag team. Team Hell No? And not even sure that counts because they didn't have a break up, they just kinda went their separate ways.

I've always been a big Goldust fan, and I'm interested to see if this goes anywhere. However, it's all dependent on whether or not there's an actual plan past this week or next week. Chances are there isn't.

If this is Goldust's final run I hope he goes out as a heel because that's when he's his true self.
I really hope this Goldust returns.
Seriously this is Goldust at his best. Can't believe it was 20 years ago.

I think I would have preferred a Truth heel turn instead, but I also wouldn't have cared much either way.

Truth will never be released, in fact I believe he's HOF bound at some point believe it or not. The man learned from JTG, never pick up your phone during Spring Cleaning in the WWE. I still remember when Dustin Rhodes broke out on the scene 30+ years ago, he was so green and look what he's been able to do with a joke character.
