The concept of BAF, is cool. The execution is trash however. I got paul bearer, but I had to use the j$j battlepack just to use the arms, because for some asinine reason I couldn't find a neville within a 75 mile radius. And at the time, I figured to spend 15 in the battle pack rather than the 25 it was calling for neville online. Off topic, some of these decisions like creating the HOF 4 horseman pack or whatever was dumb. Its 2017, 2015 when it came out, no one is going to fork over 50 for 4 has beens from 40 years ago. Nwo set should have been 1st. No bill got greedy and wanted to wait for holywood Hogan. Now he can't do it, and stores still rot with the 4 horseman packs. You must be a child. Calling the most legendary stable in wrestling history as has beens just solidifies that. The horsemen pack was a way to get aa and tull rereleased and barry released. Best way to start a 4 pack is with the best 4 man group of all time. Bill has stated that it sold well, but target over ordered. Just stop This brings up a point I was trying to make in the first place. Mattel knows production #'s and all so, IN ORDER TO KEEP THE LINE HEALTHY AND GROWING, if there's 1,800 Target stores then wouldn't you say limit production to two cases per store (15,000 total). You might be turning away money up front but you keep the line with at least a chance to survive and not rotting for 3 years and cancelling it after two series. Just can't see the logic in making 50,000, suckering Target in to buying it, knowing damn well only a fraction of that amount would sell, thus killing it before it gets off the ground

Guess what though? As much as I never cared for them, I still supported it... Call it what you want, nwo would have sold much better.

cldbld it was the HOF set that came out in 2015. So I think class of 2014 and before only qualified. What NWO figures would you have included? Hogan Nash (I think) Hall went in after that I believe I don't disagree. Just using the HOF tag who would you have done?

Could have had a 3 or 4 pack without the HoF tag. Imo, having it just for the HoF is what hurt the product from the start. You set a precedent with a "hof" 4 pack. What else can you do now? Not much, hench the line was dead from the start.

The less they make the higher the price. We also don't know what their contract with target is. They might have to produce more if asked. These stores ask for exclusive lines, they don't sicker them into it. Bill has said more and more stores want to do the exclusive game now

Mattel should have never produced so many, I don't care if Target wanted them or not. Somebody has to be the voice of reason, in saying no way in hell this x? amount is going to sell

But it's sort of like biting off your nose to spite your face GameStop wants exclusives. Mattel - OK, we got you covered. This sweet Brock Lesnar Elite that pretty much looks like every other Elite he's had. 99.9% of people on here knew that was going to rot, and was a poor choice. Mattel didn't? So guess what GameStop says F this, keep your exclusives. I'm not seeing how that helps Mattel. Better choice should've been made in the first place

As I said in another thread. I have a sinking feeling that we are going to be seeing less and less Flashback themed figures. And those are the figures that keep me interested and keep me going.

Warning a bit of sarcasm warning I just tired of Mattel putting some walk figures with weird attires, accessories, wrong choices and looks. Like dm warrior does that look like a 25$ I would buy ...no maybe in regular elite line or not releasing attires people want then don't need like what's is the point if releasing same simple attires when changing atleast one color can make it better. Like why the same Ambrose why not a different look on his t shirt he wears.(just my opinion speaking )

Keep in mind that because of the HOF restriction, Nash and Hall were unqualified for the series together for a little while. Hall went in in 2014, then Nash in 2015. The first boxset came out later on in 2015. It wasn't enough time to do them together. By the time 2016 came around to do a proper nWo boxset, Hogan was out of his contract. Not to mention the nWo guys have a lot of deco - especially Hogan, so it'd be a lackluster set unless they were all in street gear. It's why Eddie is in jeans, probably.
I like the HOF line for the concept of having new flashbacks, but the restriction puts a huge damper on what Mattel can include, and when.

You're exactly right on that NWO statement Set would've been lackluster at the very least (using the HOF tag like they had to) Another idea, I kind of wish they would expand HOF to Basics. NOT that I really want this, but if MattelDesignTeam or the powers to be don't think HOF'ers like Rock N Roll Express, Bob Backlund, Superstar Billy Graham, Muraco, Valentine, Bockwinkel, Blaze, Sherri, Ellering, etc would work as Elites, do Basics first. The $10 price point, these might move a little better for Target. If they move ok, then maybe an Elite down the road. Beats not getting them at all IMO

I feel the problem is who they're putting in sets, TNF 1 sold pretty well I don't find them anymore. I never see TNF 2 machos and Zayns anymore. But the natural disatesters are rotting. I feel TNF 3 is going to sell amazingly. Seth's elites always fly, it's AA's elite debut and a lot of people have been clamoring for a new Elizabeth
