Seriously? Do you also find moving your thumbs complicated? The network is easy. I don't see why they don't get rid of the network and just let the fans order Raw, Smackdown, Nitro etc. on PPV when they want it

For the first quarter of the year, PPV revenue was $2.8 million dollars. So some people are still buying them. To elaborate a little further, in 2016, WWE did $2.1 million in PPV revenue in the first quarter, but there were only two events during that time period last year, as opposed to three this year. Last year, the $2.1 million translated to 153,000 PPV buys in total. We can't really get an accurate buy number (unless it was published somewhere I'm not seeing) without knowing the revenue share this year, as it does fluctuate. If it happened to be equal, we're talking about ~191,000 buys for the first quarter this year. Which, given the value of the Network as opposed to traditional Pay-Per-View, is still a little surprising.

I know I still watch PPV's the same way I always have - buy it on DVD about two months after the fact.

I'm strongly considering ordering WrestleMania from now on considering during this years I had the worst issues with the Network I've ever had.

I've never had a major streaming issue with the Network.
And for 9.99 I will NEVER not have the Network. I may even pay for an extra year or two before I die and then have a mini TV installed in my casket. It's value is too good to go without, even in the afterlife.

Also I can't relate to the streaming issues. In Canada the network is a cable channel. Like HBO etc. My feed never goes down. I've always been happy with it. That is one nice thing about having the WWE Network in Canada. Also, our cable On Demand content is pretty stacked too if we don't wanna go online to watch stuff.

I was actually going through my rogers guide the other day. We get wwe, TNA, ROH and lucha underground. Pretty cool!

Don't WWE promote each PPV as "exclusively on the WWE Network"? I thought it was only internationally that it continued as a PPV format in addition to the WWE Network. I don't see why they don't get rid of the network and just let the fans order Raw, Smackdown, Nitro etc. on PPV when they want it So, rather than paying 9.99 a month for a video library consisting of thousands of hours of entertainment...you'd prefer to pay around the same price each for each individual episode or show you want to watch?! How is that a preferable system? Furthermore, they're not going to put weekly shows out as a PPV format. Aside from currently existing TV network deals, the PPV format has always been reserved for special events. Why would each weekly show be put on that format? he's trolling, as he always does.

Probably only the people who watch WrestleMania because that's a huge event. True, my mate ordered WrestleMania and Royal Rumble traditionally this year. His brother ordered a few PPVs last year as well, but he doesn't really watch all that often so he doesn't really know about the Network. I've told my mate about it though so he can save money in the future. PPVs in the UK are around £20.

At this point I'm starting to believe he's just a gimmick poster and someone else's alternate profile to use for craps and giggles.

I had issues, like everyone else, for the first 6 months, then it stabilized for about 6 months. Then went to crap again for another 6 months, then stabilized and has generally been good for me ever since. I ordered Mania 30 because I was too afraid to trust the Network, but watched Mania 31, 32, and 33 on there, and had no issues. In fact the only PPV that has given me any issues was SummerSlam's, and even then just for a short time. To talk about the original posting, I guess some people still do. I know it's still available on my cable. Just checked, yep, I can still order Backlash if I wanted to, and preorder Extreme Rules, both for $44.95.

2.1 million people still use AOL.... the dialup version via phone. Some people live in really crappy areas without good internet, others are old and don't know how to use tech.
