Exactly! I remember when CS went from $12.99 to $14.99 and I said I would never buy another wrestling figure again. Here I am spending $20 on a figure, sometimes $25-$30 for a DM. Are we suckers? Yes. But, its a great product. Jakks was great for their time, but man did Mattel take that ring and run with it!

it is forbidden to complain about anything related to this hobby these days False. It should be forbidden to complain and complain to no end. If ya don't like em don't buy em. If you find yourself doing nothing but saying negative things about something (regardless of it being figures) then it's probably you that's the problem. It's like you kids think if you post something critical suddenly you're a creditable critic. Nope you're just another negative troll. Critics have something positive and negative to say however it's constructive. Unlike some of you on here. I actually laughed when I bought the new Rhyno figure because I knew someone like you would be screaming inside . I love the figure by the way. Here's the trend: Lineup is announced: everyone is all happy Protos come out: same crowd is pissed like someone shot your grandmother and swear you will never buy it. Figure hits retail: you buy it. You're jokes!

Healthy debate and conversation is great. But that isn't the same as the chicken little mindset that pops up here pretty frequently. One or two examples isn't the same thing as a trend. Whether it's paint QC, joints, parts choices, scale, or anything else. With the sheer number of figures that get designed and produced in a year, there are going to be some flubs. And those are worth discussing. That doesn't mean Mattel has forsaken us, they don't care about collectors, and the sky is falling.
At face value, I think it's interesting that scale does seem to be less consistent on suited figs. I assume they have far fewer parts to pick from than for in-ring figures. But that let's talk about them for what they are - exceptions to the norm.

I'm okay with height as long as it isn't too bad. Like some of them Jakks were waaaaay out of scale. Teddy Long, Bearer and Heyman were taller than some of the guys.
Sometimes I look at Mattel's and they look out of scale. But as long as the guys are taller than the girls and the managers are shorter than the guys, I'm alright. To me, guys who are in the 5'8-6'1 range aren't that big of an issue with them. I'm good since Strowman and Corbin are the right height. Now Mattel's Undertaker could use some scaling. He's way too tall imo

I've been meaning to bring this up but why are the revival like dwarves? It's almost like they're not even apart of the same line when they're displayed with other Mattels.

The only instances where I didn't get a figure because the height was just too wrong were the initial Basic Ambrose with Hunico's body, then the one they put out shortly thereafter with longer legs that made him look like Wilt from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Those examples, in my opinion, are the only times a complaint may be justified.

I just saw Ambrose recently at a house show, and there is no way that dude is 6'4". I'm 6' even. and he may have been an inch taller than me. WWE lies about heights a lot. No excuse for the scale to be off like that, though. "billed"

Penny pinching. You should too. Stop buying figures that you dont like. Win win. He may have not noticed it until he got the figs out of the package.

This would be acceptable, but the OP has expressed his concerns with other products and could have easily had someone take pics or look at ringsides pics before buying or preordering. You may be a newer member, but the reason my post got so many likes is because OP doesnt have the best way of expressing his displeasure. Ill refer you to this trainwreck. forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/326011/mdt-lack-effort-ability

I wouldn't say it's real bad. Just a tad off at times.
