Haven't watched the game play video yet. Anyone know if they've fixed reversals? Like, is Zack Ryder still going to counter HHH's Pedigree with a fireman's carry take down, or is Sin Cara going to counter a Nakamura forearm shot with a single arm DDT? Really, outside of the stupid move set choices and "never done ever" reversals, I found 2K17 to actually be enjoyable (if you edit the move sets). Really hoping 2K18 follows that path, but with real move sets. I think we should get an option on create a moveset where we can pick what reversals we give a wrestler.

Reversal Styles are something I've wanted in this series forever. Day of Reckoning had them, and Firepro still has them.

To be fair, 2K does have a sort of "Reversal Style" system, it's just that there's only 3 or 4 styles. Where as, something like King of Colosseum 2 had like 100. 2K also has some crazy, wrestler specific reversals. Although, they're only applicable in weirdly specific way. Like, The Rock can reverse a top rope Spanish Fly (because, we've all seen how many times Rock has came across that move!) into an avalanche Rock Bottom. HHH can reverse some crazy, junior esque top rope move into a Pedigree. Honestly, I don't think that anyone who's in charge of moves/reversals at 2K has ever watched a match in their life. I think that they played the video games, but considering the choices they've made... whoever is in charge of that is just not good at their job.

Yeah Weight Class based and a few Superstar Specific ones. I really like Kane and Taker's Chokeslam reversals they can do to each other

Love everything in that gameplay video. Personally I don't have a problem with how bright the new lighting system is. The new carrying system looks very intriguing. Oh my god, Elimination Chamber entrances! Absolutely love that. And the Elimination Chamber structure itself looks wonderful. It's very clear that this was an early version though. Half of the moves barely made any sound on impact, and the commentary didn't flow at all, far too many pauses. So I wouldn't worry too much about the lighting not being finalised yet. Hey man I just want you to know that the commentary flowing and half the moves not making a sound on impact won't be fixed on final release lmao. That's been a problem since at LEAST Smackdown VS RAW 2007 But man how are you okay with this lighting?? Rollins looks PALE. They said this was supposed to represent a more realistic looking game it looks awful. Superstars don't look that pale, they don't glow. The lighting shouldn't effect them that much. You can exaggerate all you want, but none of the finished games in the past few years have had 70% of the moves make no noise on impact, or had commentary with 2 second gaps in between each line. That's something that makes this evident that it's an early, unpolished build of the game that is nowhere near the final product. The lighting just doesn't bother me. I don't see them "glowing" as much as everyone else is. It's not as though they're radiating light. It definitely needs tweaking, but it's not the disaster that everyone claims it to be.

Ill fully judge when a finished product is shown, or when i play the game myself

Guys reversing move with lucha arm drags (who would never do one) and reverse ddts are the biggest pet peeve for me with these games. Day of Reckoning had the best reversal system ever used in a WWE game.

Oh . That Bobby Roode entrance is top notch, except for the crowd. Did they record the crowd with a toaster? Sounds too... Echoy? Shoulda ripped the sound straight from his actual entrance.

Well, Ember Moon was one of my major wants for new superstars this year, so I'm glad to see her.
