None of the above. Open them and store them in bins. Why?

Mainly display but sometimes sort of what you might call play. Once in a blue moon I get the urge to pose and take pics of a dream match like AJ vs HBK, Angle vs Bret Hart, Bullet Club vs nWo, etc. Nothing spectacular but it keeps me entertained. I made some custom shelves a few years ago that hold ~300 figures and have a ping pong table with an arena setup and another ~250 figures standing around as the crowd. Gonna' have to build another set of shelves soon as I have no place to put the current Raw & SmackDown rosters. A ping pong table area sounds awesome. You should post some pics.

Neither. Most stay stored under the ottoman bed, the rest in my wardrobe.
I never see them but knowing I have them is enough for me.

Display but I'd be a liar if I said I didn't play with them sometimes.

Opened and stored in a big plastic box. My kid decided Roblox was way cooler than wrestling figures so they haven been dealt with in about a year. I tell him they have Toy Story moments and create their own matches when he doesn't bother with them in hopes he'll ask me to put up the YouTube Titantron and lighting effects for Royal Rumbles like we did in the past. I miss those days.

Keep them MOC. Put them in boxes and then in the attic. Sometimes I buy extra to customise, and I have some other ones loose which are sometimes displayed in my wardrobe. I'm not allowed an actual display!

I'm not allowed an actual display! Most of the stuff I had stored in my mothers attic for 20+ years was all ruined by extreme heat. I don't like to think about it because it was entire collections of gijoes, mask, Star Wars, old video games, etc and now all just trash.

I used to come home to scattered figures all over his room and in action poses and I enjoyed seeing that but now they are all just in a bucket and they never move from there

Display
Every now and then I'll have a counter fest and then someone eats a finisher through the announce table and that's typically all she wrote

I rotate Era displays on different shelves in my basement. I'd say about 4 times a week I bring up 5-10 elites and my son (almost 3) and I play for a little bit.

I literally had all of those toys. Mask--always riding on V.E.N.O.M.'s trail.

I had all that stuff- He-Man, Transformers, Ninja Turtles... That's sad to hear about your collection getting ruined. We don't have such a thing as extreme heat here in Scotland though!

Lots of lego sets I thought of Lego after I'd posted! I just found a big paint bucket full in my attic a couple of days ago. I built my Lego Western Fort set that I've had forever a few years ago and took pictures of it. It was good fun. Sorry for going off topic here!

Display. I tried playing with them before, it's not the same when you're older.

Have them all displayed loose on shelves right above my computer
I dont understand packing away, just defeats the purpose of collecting IMO. I do however pack away doubles as insurance if something happens to my favorites that might go up astronomically on the secondary market
Wish I had the imagination to play but I just can't do it

I chose display, but even that is a stretch. I mostly have them in storage totes until my boys are old enough to play with and appreciate them. I suppose I'll play with them then.
