I opened my recent Elite pick ups from Ringside. So excited to open them up and check out the figures. After opening them all up I realize I have a pile of figure stands, backdrop and wall stand. Now I have these, plus all the other ones that released in the previous Elites. I assembled them only to find out after that it's pretty difficult taking them apart (to the point that it feels like your going to snap and break it). Why would these be an incentive to collect them all in order the build the complete diorama!?
I kind of of like the idea of a figure stand (these seem too small where the figure is standing a little on the edge of the stand instead of the middle) but compared to the earlier version these aren't that good.
With all that extra plastic, Mattel could be using it for more accessories or more deco on the wrestlers attires. (Or even use it to help with the QC problem)
How do you feel about the diorama?

Not a huge fan of them but I guess it would depend on what we could get in it's place if they didn't include them. I personally think a few smaller grapple gear accessories like a bucket, broom etc or something like that would be better

I find the diorama useless. I like getting a stand though

I have yet to see a completed diorama that inspired me to want them all. Now if they move away from the generic backgrounds and perhaps did a six figure wide Wrestlemania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, or Royal Rumble logo diorama maybe I would be interested.

I have no interest in building the diorama sets. It would be different if I had to buy 6 new gen figures to build the original big RAW letters from early Monday night Raws.

I agree that a more substantial oval stand would be a preferable use of the plastic versus the current stand and part that holds the diorama card.

I have to agree. I can't see people displaying these by series. The money in the budget for these could be utilized for something useful.

Get rid of the display stands altogether in elites. Take that money/budget and put accessories back into battlepacks.

I never buy the complete elite set so Ill never have a complete dio. Every time I get them they just get thrown in a box. I like that Mattel wanted to add displays again, after telling us they were too costly, but they should have just went back to the original display stands.

I agree with the ideas of either the old stands or building an old ppv background or even that awesome 90's locker room with the phone on the wall.

I agree, just go back to the OG display stands. Atleast with those you can put name tags in them.

I like the idea of a stand but it is true they do not compete with the old stands which is a bummer because i dont own any old ones, only new ones

The diorama's are trash. I hate the fact Mattel continue to make them. I would be much more happy with better parts on figures, more deco, more details or even more acessories.

It's an extra item in there that they throw in for us. If we like it cool if not oh well. I'm sure they don't take away from the actual figures or accessories budgets. Just use the stands for your figs if you don't like the back drop.
I also think they should do a themed backdrop set.

TBH these diorama displays are a terrible idea on mattels part. I'd rather the figures came with accessories themed around the wrestler or a better variety of title belts. Let's face it the amount of money they spend on stands and dio pieces they could give us new titles.

i reckon if the dioramas were like interview backdrops it would be better, i would aim to collect the whole set...

Oval stands just suck and can get knocked over easily. Atleast the new ones are more sturdy.

Just last night I broke a stand trying to take it apart.
Not gonna say they are a complete waste and that their production is costing us collectors quality accessories, but I don't personally use them, nor do they add any more encouragement for me to buy an entire set of Elites. But then I only buy for MOC or play, so they may not be for me.

I like the stand. The other parts are useless to me.
