Hey guys, I was wondering what you all think is the world's greatest invention so far, and why? I have seen some interesting answers around the net, and with our age ranges, I thought this would be an ideal place for differing answers.
For me, I am thinking internet. The access to information helps us all be more knowledgeable, accessible to anyone, and we can all get much more involved in our interests/ideals/communities and make a difference/impact.
A close second: T.V. with its openess to show the world and new ideas to all people, but especially the young, is a true blessing. At least it was to me. Gave me a world outside my own to strive for.
Thanks all. I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Much respect.

There are so many good inventions and for good reason. Cell phones for emergencies, tvs, internet all kinds of stuff. I would honestly be more interested in the worst inventions and why people think they are

Saran Wrap! You can put a sandwich in it, you can look through it, you touch & put it around your face & fool around with it & everything. It's so good & cute! You can wrap it up & put 3 olives in it or a little one. You can put 10 sandwiches in it, whatever you want. It clings & you can look right through it.

Sanitation, medicine, and the wheel all strike me as being pretty important overall.

Sanitation and Medicine are up there, many people died just because they weren't clean or had common sense.

Charmin. It's like wiping with a cloud.
I guess internet would probably be next in line. Mostly because it allows you to watch porn for free. And there's probably other good uses for it, too.

Electricity, although I suppose its more of a discovery than an invention? It's a natural thing yes, but to harness power for our use...thats invention and has led to many other major inventions. Otherwise we would still be reading books and ballroom dancing for fun.

Shop Scissors. Why? Because they cut through basically any type of cloth or heavy duty material without dulling the blades at all
