Really? I thought theirs was the weakest of Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo Ubisoft won for me. By quite a margain. Nintendo's problem is that while they did have some huge announcements, their presentation left a lot to be desired. I can just imagine what kind of reaction a home console pokemon game alone would have gotten in front of a live audience. That's not adding in Metroid Prime 4 or the new Kirby. Instead they do a prerecorded video of people behind desks and in front of green screens making these announcements in such boring, monotone ways that it kills most of the magic they could have had. Sure, Nintendo fanboys will always eat it up, but they're the worst for having the blinders on. Honestly, if they just did a live conference like everyone else, they would have won this year. Hands down. Console Pokemon alone and the reaction would have done it.

Nintendo is a bunch of boring Japanese businessmen or weird Japanese programmers plus Miyamoto who I love but always comes across as a little uncomfortable and awkward. You saw hot the Switch reveal went. Long and boring and a lot of stuff getting lost in translation. Unless they send Reggie out there for an hour I rather not the Japanese execs come out and present the upcoming lineup of games. I'm fine with an edited streamlined presentation.
