I have been searching for the remnants of this series after seeing a La Parka prototype. Does anyone who has the ring want to post some pics of how compatible it is with Mattel figures? Is it the same one as the TNA?

I don't. I like Lucha Underground but I'm just not into Lucha Libre enough to know the characters enough to collect the series even if I think Playmates did an amazing job and I want to try their video game out. The ring is very different from the TNA one and it's totally rad. Best photo of it if I could find. I would be interested to hear from someone who owns it what the turnbuckles and pads are made of and how they're connected. Doesn't look like just plastic and no moving parts from photos.

I've only ever been able to find prototype images of it, which it comes off as a decent size compared to the DA figures inside, but if I remember correctly, the TNA figures looked larger in the prototypes as well. I was able to find this video which shows the turnbuckles. It looks as though they might just slide in there. Pretty different from what I remember the TNA ring having, it doesn't really put the size into perspective though.

Yeah, the turnbuckles and pads are plastic. My main gripe with the thing is how freaking tight the ropes are. Nearly took an eye out trying to put it together when a post went flying.
