Picked up an NXT elite Austin Aries earlier this week. Today I finally unboxed it. I took it out, eventually bent the foot and this happened. I don't know how this stuff passes quality control because the foot wasn't able to bend at all. The whole joint was warped as one piece. I've been seeing some complaints about Aries on here and unfortunately I got the worst end of the stick. So be cautious. EDIT: A buddy of mine just picked up an Aries with a warped boot and his snapped right off as well. So this seems to be an ongoing issue I see. If you're under the assumption that quality control means they have an army of staff who check each figure by hand you are wrong. They check a sample size and if it pass those checks then they keep making them. I have friends who got the figure and had no issues. It sucks it happened to you though and I hope you get a replacement This is what everyone on here thinks QC is and it's hilarious

Man I was expecting you to point out the hand joint snapping. That's what happened to mine. The peg broke off inside the socket so now I have the hand just kind of balancing in the hole

I was very cautious. I didn't remove it from the box or the peg and left it at Target. I have no desire for this figure.

Embarrassing on Mattel's part, especially for an Elite figure.
