hey everyone so I recently started collecting figures and have been looking for a scale ring to buy. I saw there's a new one with goldberg coming out at some point this year but it looks a little weird. what's the current best scale ring on the market?

As soon as they make a ring that's actually to scale. It will be the best scale ring.

I love my authentic scale ring. You will need tighter ropes which are sold by ringside. They also sell a good amount of other accessories for it too. I've never owned another ring though so I can't compare

I've got the wicked cool toys one (2 actually) and I'm a big fan. Got an old school one with the blue cage and I love it. Have managed to get quite a few accessories for it too including steps, ropes, buckles and a lot of ring skirts.

I like the Authentic Scale Rings currently out for the customability, but they are oversized. It's not bad, just a tad annoying for me. Lately I've been using my old Jakks Wrestlemania official scale ring with the ASR retro turnbuckles and RSC ropes. The size is much better to me.
However, I'm just going to switch to the upcoming Mattel one when it drops to give it a shot.

Jakk's WWE Metal Vengeance Arena ring was the best IMO

If your looking for customizability, the Wicked Cool Toys ASR is the best, though it is a little to large (length & width) than it really should be compared to the Mattel figures. Maybe the new Mattel one coming out with the exclusive Goldberg will be more to scale - but it doesn't look like it will be customizable.

Since this discussion is on the different rings does anyone know if the Jakks cell will fit over the WCT ring? I've seen one for sale and am tempted but don't wanna buy it and not be able to use it at all.

Ehhh I own and liked both the RSR by jakks and the ASR by WCT. I'm kinda split in some ways, but I lean more towards the ASR. Just because I had so many problems with the RSR, but it definitely looked better and was more to scale. The ASR is wayyyy too big, but is overall better in quality and more durable. I've owned mine for about 3 years and it still holds up.

I bought that WCT a while back and now I don't have it because it broke. The Jakks mold has issues with the posts, they cave in. I might score an ACR on eBay

Yeah a Jakks ring scale-wise if you add your own stickers is probably spot on but I actually like the cheap bouncy ones you see at Wal-Mart.
They have good ropes and I like the smaller size, makes the figures seem bigger and cooler and the action tighter.
Also it is cheaper and has a ton of available accessories and variations if you can find them.
The new Elite scale Goldberg ring looks like a real contender though, the ring posts look more like the new ones and the Authentic Scale I've seen all have soft fabricy sides where the LED boards are supposed to be. Plus it comes with that amazing announce table and chairs set.
Only thing I don't love about it is...though Goldberg is awesome...why not include even cheap immobile announcers? It's just an empty announce desk.

And the WCT ring and the Jakks ring are two completely different molds. WCT uses the Mattel Elite Scale Ring mold for their ASR.

The ASR is only $43 from Ringside, the new Mattel one is supposed to cost $100, so unless you think the Goldberg, commentary table/chairs, and light up gimmicks are worth the extra $50, the ASR will be the best. The older ones had a clip-om canvas and loose ropes, but the latest one is secured by elastic and the ropes are appropriately tight.

I own both the ESR and ASR and I've got to say the ESR is amazing, it's lasted so long. The ASR is also amazing other than the ropes which has already been mentioned and also the ASR is probably going to be more cheaper so I'd go with that then buy ropes on Ringside

I just picked up the previous Raw edition of the ASR and the ropes were much tighter on this one. They're actually a touch tighter than the Mattel ESR ones.

I'd just wait for that Goldberg ring. It's the modern day ring with led ringposts.

Is the Goldberg going to be closer in actual scale?
