May 22, 2007 - Des Moines, Iowa - Wells Fargo Arena (6,500) "This Is The New Sh*t" by Marilyn Manson Aired on the Sci-Fi Network (1.5)
SHOW REPORT:
- The ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley made his way to the ring as ECW on Sci-Fi went on the air, the ECW World Champion visibly proud after having overcome Marcus Cor Von at Judgment Day two nights ago. Lashley began to talk about 'the Alpha Male' being a sizeable adversary, but that despite Cor Von's best efforts, he still stands here tonight as the man to beat on ECW. Lashley talked about how he knew that the ECW General Manager Armando Estrada has been forced to make an announcement tonight, and dared the Cuban to make it a good one, because he's just getting started. Swiftly, CM Punk's theme interrupted, and out came 'the Straight Edge Superstar'! Punk came down to the ring, much to the curiosity of the ECW World Champion. Punk got a positive reaction and soaked it in, before telling Lashley that before Estrada does make an announcement, he wanted to put his name in the hat. Punk told Lashley that he's sick of being led, and that he is a free man: and he knew he could beat Bobby Lashley. But before anything, the New Breed arrived - Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von coming down to the ring. 'The Elijah Experience' complained about how Punk is jumping in line, and that he seems to forget his roots. Punk mocked Burke's roots, almost antagonizing 'the Alpha Male'. Burke suggested that since Lashley thinks Cor Von isn't enough - then why not Burke challenge Lashley for the ECW World Championship instead? Lashley smirked, as Cor Von was visibly irked by the notion. Cor Von told Burke that he could beat Lashley, but before anything Armando Estrada finally arrived, the ECW General Manager telling the 'children' in the ring to settle down. Estrada addressed Lashley's claims that he was just getting started - how he thinks he has it all figured out. As for the New Breed, they couldn't even get the job done with Punk and Burke at Judgment Day, why should he invest in another chance? Estrada brought up a compromise, that Lashley is not getting off easy, but right now he was making a match, pitting Lashley and Punk against Burke and Cor Von, and that he will be watching keenly about who gets the next shot at the ECW World Championship at One Night Stand: Extreme Rules! Punk and Lashley glared at each other, whilst Burke and Cor Von argued too - tensions riding high, as far as the next ECW World title opportunity was concerned.
MATCH ONE // The New Breed (Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von) def. ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley and CM Punk in 11:27 after the Pounce by Cor Von on Lashley, with Burke blind tagging for the pin. Punk was isolated from Lashley during the match. Late in the match, Burke and Cor Von began to argue over miscommunication. They argued after the match, 'the Alpha Male' mad that Burke stole the pin on the ECW World Champion from him. Armando Estrada came out in the midst of this, the ECW General Manager talking about how he is impressed - which is why on June 3 at One Night Stand, it would be Bobby Lashley defending the ECW World Championship against Elijah Burke, Marcus Cor Von and CM Punk in a four-way dance match!
- Rebecca was standing by backstage with the newly debuted Major Brothers, Brett and Brian - as she asked them about how it felt for them to win in their official ECW debut last week against La Résistance. They were immediately interrupted by La Résistance, Sylvain Grenier and Robert Conway furious about how it was their debut, not the Major Brothers. Conway balked at the idea of the Majors beating them, and that they wanted a rematch. Brett and Brian pondered why Grenier and Conway hadn't tried harder last week, telling them that they were the Majors, and they were up for the challenge. Grenier told them before parting that they had a nice moment last week - but it wouldn't happen again.
MATCH TWO // Snitsky def. Tommy Dreamer by disqualification in 4:17 after the Sandman attacked Snitsky with his Singapore cane. Snitsky mainly dominated Dreamer despite 'the Innovator of Violence's best efforts. He was closing in on the victory when Sandman interfered, causing the disqualification. After the match, Sandman and Dreamer used Singapore cane against the ribs of Snitsky, eventually causing the grotesque monster to evacuate the ring for safety.
- WWE Intercontinental Champion Umaga was in the office of Armando Estrada, roaming around and looking at a framed photo of himself with the ECW General Manager. 'The Samoan Bulldozer' was suddenly joined by Armando Estrada, who graciously told the champion that he had missed him, hugging Umaga tightly. Umaga began to squawk in his native tongue, to which Estrada responded, telling Umaga that he did great in his open challenge last night, and tonight he is ecstatic at the idea of 'the Samoan Bulldozer' putting the 'Extreme' back in 'ECW' by defending his WWE Intercontinental Championship. Umaga screamed a war cry whilst the Cuban laughed in accompaniment.
- Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von were in the locker room arguing still over the result of the tag team match earlier tonight, as 'the Alpha Male' contended that he had the match won - he had the win against the ECW World Champion, but 'the Elijah Experience' stuck his nose in. Burke told Cor Von that he did it for the New Breed, and reminded Cor Von who led the New Breed. Burke advised Cor Von to step down and understand who ran this operation. Matt Striker innocently arrived, trying to patch things up, admitting frankly that at least both men have a shot at Bobby Lashley at One Night Stand. Cor Von yelled at him that it should have been him! Burke told 'the Teacher' that the problem is that CM Punk is also in that match, and he doesn't deserve to be there. Burke then brought up how Striker hadn't done the New Breed any favors, and began to bully Striker for it. Burke told Striker that maybe if he goes out there and wins for once in his life, he'll have some input and some respect in the New Breed. Striker reluctantly left, followed shortly after by Cor Von.
MATCH THREE // La Résistance (Sylvain Grenier and Robert Conway) def. The Major Brothers (Brett and Brian Major) in 5:31 after the assisted neckbreaker by La Résistance on Brian. The Majors had the fans' support, especially after comments made by Grenier and Conway before the match, insulting the United States in support of Quebec, Canada. After the match, La Résistance continued their attack on the Major Brothers, stomping away on Brett and Brian. They picked Brett up and dropped him with the assisted neckbreaker, before leaving in a dominant showing.
- Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman were with Rebecca in the interview area, where she asked the two ECW Originals about their two-on-one attack on Snitsky earlier tonight. Sandman cracked his beer and talked about how he thought his drinking habits were ugly, then he saw Snitsky. 'The Innovator of Violence' said that Snitsky has been an unstoppable force in past weeks, he's taken out Hardcore Holly, Little Guido, and now Balls Mahoney - but they were the elite Originals. He said that they wanted to show Snitsky what real punishment was made of. Sandman chugged his beer, whilst Dreamer challenged Snitsky on behalf of Sandman, to an Extreme Rules match next week on ECW on Sci-Fi.
- Extreme Exposé were dancing in the aisleway, when they were suddenly interrupted by the WWE Women's Champion Melina, who came out with Jillian Hall and Trinity. Kelly Kelly, Brooke and Layla innocently backed away, as Melina addressed the Des Moines crowd, met with boos. Melina once again bragged about how she was the champion, and that they were the dominant Divas on Monday Night RAW, ECW on Sci-Fi, and Friday Night SmackDown. Melina said that they were here to remind everybody that there was no room for hussies like the Extreme Expose, Mickie James, Michelle McCool, Ashley, or anybody but them in the WWE! Melina raised her title to loud boos, as the trio began to leave.
- Backstage, ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley was in his locker room trying to rest after the tag team loss earlier tonight. In walked CM Punk, and immediately Lashley stood up and came face to face with 'the Straight Edge Superstar'. Punk explained that Lashley sucked tonight, but if anything that made him feel better, because tonight proved that taking the ECW World Championship from him in less than two weeks in the four way dance would be that much easier. Lashley told Punk that he wanted it to come down to the two of them at One Night Stand, because he had a Spear in him with Punk's smug-ass name written all over it.
MATCH FOUR // WWE Intercontinental Championship: Rob Van Dam def. Umaga (w/Armando Estrada) (c) in 7:45 after the Five-Star Frog Splash onto Umaga, who had a steel chair resting on him. Before the match the ECW General Manager formally introduced 'the Samoan Bulldozer', who arrived to the ring. Estrada opened up the challenge, which was interrupted by 'the Whole Dam Show'. Van Dam hit a top rope kick knocking Estrada off the apron when he attempted to interfere, late in the match. Umaga introduced a steel chair, but was stopped by the referee, explaining its involvement in the finish. After the match, Van Dam celebrated with the title as now a seven-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, much to the anger, shock and horror of Armando Estrada, as ECW went off the air!
OTHER NOTES:
- Joey Styles and Tazz explained the rules for the Four Way Dance, that it is a no-disqualification, elimination free-for-all, where only one man will walk out of WWE One Night Stand as the ECW World Champion.
- It was announced that ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley would take on Elijah Burke in non-title action next Tuesday night on ECW on Sci-Fi.
- It was announced that Marcus Cor Von would face CM Punk next week on ECW on Sci-Fi.
- A replay aired, reviewing last night's brutal, one-sided Street Fight between WWE Champion John Cena and Vince McMahon, resulting in the Chairman being stretchered out of RAW and taken to a nearby medical facility. Joey Styles and Tazz promised an update on the Chairman's condition this coming Friday night on SmackDown.

May 25, 2007 - Des Moines, Iowa - Wells Fargo Arena (6,500) "Rise Up 2006" by Drowning Pool Broadcast on The CW (2.4)
SHOW REPORT:
- Coming off of getting disqualified in the World Heavyweight Championship match at Judgment Day last Sunday, Mr Kennedy kicked off Friday Night SmackDown, making his way to the ring and taking a seat in the middle of the ring. Kennedy reached high for his personal microphone, seated comfortably in his spotlight surrounded by the hostile Des Moines crowd. Kennedy addressed the elephant in the room, how people have asked him why he intentionally got himself disqualified at Judgment Day, in the biggest opportunity of his career against the Undertaker. Kennedy laughed, explaining that he had an epiphany during that match. That the World Heavyweight Championship was his destiny, but that on that night he felt that he did not need to beat 'the Deadman'. He knew that the World title would be his in due time, but that what he discovered was that in those moments where he was beating down on the Undertaker, he didn't see a 'Phenom', nor a 'Lord of Darkness', but instead a mortal man living a lie, a facade. Kennedy began to explain that so many Superstars have feared the Undertaker's presence, they've felt his aura: but it's nothing more than smoke and mirrors. Kennedy talked about how 'the Phenom' is a fraud, a phony, and that he did not fear 'the Deadman' any longer. A gong hit, and emerged the World Heavyweight Champion the Undertaker, making his way down the aisle speedier than usual, looking to fight Kennedy - when suddenly King Booker came from behind with a sceptre shot to the spine! Booker stomped on the Undertaker, when Kennedy decided to join in. Kennedy and Booker continued to stomp away at the World Heavyweight Champion on the aisle, when SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long came out, a microphone in hand. Teddy confronted Kennedy and Booker, telling Kennedy that he must be out of his mind, and Booker must have lost his mind for even assisting Kennedy in jumping 'the Deadman'. Long told Booker that he doesn't have time for this tonight, making it official: King Booker taking on the Undertaker, tonight on SmackDown! Booker was not happy, but Kennedy told Booker over and over that he had nothing to fear! Booker chased after Teddy whilst Kennedy followed - all the while 'the Deadman' sat up on the aisleway, the World Heavyweight Champion surely out to exact some revenge tonight.
- Finlay and Hornswoggle were backstage watching the monitor, 'the Fighting Irishman' in disbelief that King Booker had decided to involve himself with the World Heavyweight Champion the Undertaker. Finlay commented that the King must be demented. Hornswoggle muttered about Queen Sharmell, causing Finlay to take a knee to talk to him. He asked Hornswoggle if getting tossed into a dumpster and rolled down a hill into a parking lot wasn't enough for him. The leprechaun tried humping Finlay, causing the Irishman to slap him away. All of a sudden WWE United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter arrived on his phone, 'the Franchise Playa' coolly talking loudly about how he beat Chris Benoit so badly at Judgment Day that he'd taken a leave of absence from competition. MVP continued to brag, when Finlay confronted Porter, causing him to hang up. Finlay told MVP that they were trying to have a conversation - MVP told Finlay the same in response. 'The Fighting Irishman' told MVP that he may have beaten 'the Rabid Wolverine', but that he didn't want to pick a fight with him, slapping MVP causing him to fall to the floor! Finlay challenged Porter to a match tonight, daring him to put the WWE United States Championship on the line! Finlay walked off, whilst Hornswoggle stopped to laugh at a shocked Porter's expense.
MATCH ONE // Michelle McCool and Ashley def. WWE Women's Champion Melina and Jillian Hall (w/Trinity) in 6:02 after the facebuster by Ashley on Hall. After the match Trinity jumped Ashley, which led Melina and Jillian to join in - the cross-brand trio of Divas beating down the two SmackDown Divas. Melina delivered the Extreme Makeover to McCool before she and Jillian held her out for Trinity to come off the top rope with a moonsault! Melina raised her WWE Women's Championship, the trio leaving in dominance.
- In the locker room, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero was arguing with Gregory Helms, who was still mad about Helms leaving him high and dry last week to face in his title defense. Helms responded, angry that Guerrero left Helms to face the wrath of the Boogeyman two weeks ago. Helms commented that they were supposed to be friends, and tonight in their handicap match with the Boogeyman, he doesn't feel like he can trust Chavo. Guerrero attempted to tell Helms that he was his best friend in the SmackDown locker room, and that he had Gregory's back tonight. Suddenly, the lights flickered and smoke came out of nowhere, bringing the Boogeyman peeking out from behind a locker! Boogeyman told a nursery rhyme, freaking Chavo and Helms out of the room! Boogeyman laughed sinisterly.
MATCH TWO // Brian Kendrick (w/Paul London) def. WWE Tag Team Champion Domino (w/Deuce and Cherry) in 5:18 after the Sliced Bread #2. Deuce attempted to interfere during the match, distracting the referee enabling Domino to choke Kendrick out. London eventually got even, hitting a running crossbody off the steel steps on Deuce on the floor, which led to the finish. After the match, London and Kendrick stared down Deuce 'n Domino, who quickly left with Cherry, headed back up the aisle to their Cadillac in defiance. It was implied that this win had put London and Kendrick back in the hunt for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
- Outside of his office, Vickie Guerrero waited patiently for her job interview, showing up on Friday Night SmackDown for the first time since last November. SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long arrived, on the phone to Kristal - Teddy obviously with his hands full tonight, as he told his girlfriend to inform Deuce 'n Domino that they would defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against Paul London and Brian Kendrick at One Night Stand, and there would be no lead pipe shots unauthorized, because it would be contested under no-disqualification, Texas Tornado tag team rules! Long came off the phone, then shook Vickie's hand. Long appreciated Vickie for coming to Des Moines for the interview for Assistant General Manager, but wanted her to know that he was giving her a chance despite what she did with Chavo Guerrero, sidelining Rey Mysterio with a severe knee injury last year. Vickie confided in Long that she understood but that she was in a much better place now, it was coming up to a year after her husband Eddie Guerrero's passing - but her head was in a better state now. Long welcomed Vickie into his office, to get the job interview underway.
- Mike Mizanin's music hit, bringing out the overconfident Miz, forever backed by his two Girls, linked arm in arm with him. The trio made their way to the ring, as Mike Mizanin strutted in the ring. He claimed a microphone and asked if Des Moines were ready for the Miz, then joked that nobody was ever ready for the Miz. Mizanin talked about how he is the hottest new WWE Superstar to hit Friday Night SmackDown, and that a town such as Des Moines, Iowa should be applauding him for his courage, his passion, and his intensity. Miz continued, as he claimed he was the most underrated talent to be on this show right now, which is why he wanted Des Moines to understand that as much as a trash hole they may live in, they always have the Miz to cheer them up. And they can watch him every Friday night on SmackDown. Miz asked his Girls - acknowledging them as Brie and Nikki - what they thought of Des Moines, to which one responded that it smelled like a sewer, whilst the other lamented that there was nothing to do but stay in the hotel with the hottest Superstar in the WWE today, the Miz. Finally, Kane's pyrotechnics went off, bringing 'the Big Red Monster' marching down the aisle! Kane obviously had not had enough of Mizanin after delivering a Chokeslam to him last week, but as Kane climbed into the ring, Mizanin cowered with Brie and Nikki, the trio quickly leaving! Kane climbed inside but then rolled over the top rope to the floor, in pursuit of Mizanin and the Girls! Kane climbed back inside, his motives clear, as Kane raised his arms and ignited the pyrotechnics, 'the Big Red Machine' perhaps wanting to break Mike Mizanin's monotony!
MATCH THREE // WWE United States Championship: Montel Vontavious Porter (c) def. Finlay in 13:11 after the Playmaker. Finlay almost had the win after a Celtic Cross, but Porter's foot was propped on the bottom rope. MVP attempted to steal the win late in the match with a roll-up with his feet on the ropes, but Hornswoggle came out from under the ring, knocking 'the Franchise Playa's feet down. Queen Sharmell came down the aisle to ringside with a bucket, pouring water all over Hornswoggle and leaving him drenched - which distracted 'the Fighting Irishman', making way for the finish. MVP celebrated and left quickly, whilst Finlay came through and saw what had happened. He rolled out of the ring, grabbed his shillelagh and immediately charged for the back, in hot pursuit of Sharmell, who had been laughing at Hornswoggle's expense!
- Finlay chased Queen Sharmell to the backstage area, finally cornering her where Sharmell appeared to be pleading for mercy from 'the Fighting Irishman'. Finlay threatened Sharmell to leave Hornswoggle alone, but Sharmell told Finlay that he needed a bath, and that the 'Little Bastard' deserved what he got! Finlay closed in on her with the shillelagh in hand when King Booker came from behind, delivering a shot from the sceptre, knocking Finlay down and out! Booker laughed as he kissed his wife, Booker telling Sharmell that what she did was genius, "the Royal Water" surely going to convert Hornswoggle from a troll of a leprechaun into an appropriate jester for their court. The two left, leaving Finlay down and hurting.
- Kristal was in the interview area with Deuce, Domino and Cherry when Kristal asked Deuce 'n Domino about the match made for One Night Stand in nine days, where they put the WWE Tag Team Championships on the line against Paul London and Brian Kendrick. The WWE Tag Team Champions were disgruntled, unknowing of what Theodore Long had told her on the phone earlier tonight! Deuce removed his shades and asked when the decision was made. Kristal slyly claimed that she had forgotten to mention. Domino was angry too, asking Kristal why this happened. Kristal then mentioned that it was a Texas Tornado match, which caused Deuce 'n Domino to seethe with anger. The trio left, Deuce claiming that this interview was over - Kristal smiling at the 50s nostalgia act's expense!
MATCH FOUR // The Dalton Boys (Jesse and Festus Dalton) def. Funaki and Scotty 2 Hotty in 3:27 after Festus backdropped Jesse into an elbow drop, followed up by an elbow drop of his own on Scotty. The Dalton Boys were on the offensive for the main part of the match, and were aggressive, making their way to the ring with pitchforks, dressed in overalls and flannel. After the match the Dalton Boys got on the microphone, where Jesse explained that they came all the way from Georgia in their "pickemup truck" to whoop some ass, and that's why they're here. Festus angrily sneered that they were here to fight 'em all, all the tag teams that came to dance. Except there would be no dancing because you don't want to mess with the Dalton Boys. They left to boos, an impressive showing in their SmackDown debut.
- A vignette aired, promoting the return of 'the Animal' Batista after a one month absence, after the effects of a brutal Last Man Standing match with the Undertaker back at Backlash. Batista returns to Friday Night SmackDown in two weeks time, cleared to compete.
MATCH FIVE // Handicap match: The Boogeyman def. WWE Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero and Gregory Helms in 1:56 after the pumphandle slam by Boogeyman on Guerrero. Immediately, as the bell sounded, Helms tagged out to Chavo and quickly left the ring, leaving Guerrero high and dry for Boogeyman's pleasure. Boogeyman dominated the WWE Cruiserweight Champion, and after the match let his worms slip out of his mouth into Chavo's! Helms laughed, whilst Chavo rolled out of the ring in disgust, trying to wipe his mouth on the ring apron.
- Kristal was backstage with Mr Kennedy, Kristal wanting to know about Mr Kennedy's epiphany and why he claims to not fear 'the Deadman'. Kennedy told Kristal that if she had been paying attention, he explained loud and clear earlier tonight in the middle of that ring. He explained that there will be another chance for him to rightfully take his place as the World Heavyweight Champion - but his first step in doing so involves exposing the Undertaker as "just another guy". Kennedy planned this set-up and match tonight with King Booker to prove it, that 'the Phenom' is just another WWE Superstar that has been bigged up to be some unstoppable force. Kennedy claimed that he didn't fear the World Heavyweight Champion, and that he was the real unstoppable force on Friday Night SmackDown.
- SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long came out of his office with Vickie Guerrero, who seemed very happy with how the job interview seemingly had gone. Teddy told Vickie that it was great to see her, and that he would be in touch soon enough. Vickie thanked Long for the opportunity, claiming that she felt that they could do great things together as General Manager and Assistant General Manager. Long concurred. Suddenly WWE Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero appeared in disgust, covered in the Boogeyman's worm juices - as Chavo tried desperately to get the taste out of his mouth! Vickie was as grossed out by the sight of her nephew-in-law, whilst Long calmly commented not to worry about that - the Boogeyman happened, walking away.
MATCH SIX // World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker def. King Booker (w/Queen Sharmell) in 12:45 after the Tombstone Piledriver. Booker went after 'the Deadman's back, attempting to capitalize on the attack he and Mr Kennedy committed earlier tonight. A back-and-forth match where the Undertaker repeatedly sat up, much to the chagrin of Booker. Booker eventually had had enough of 'the Phenom' and attempted to leave with Queen Sharmell, just for Finlay to come down the aisle, pushing Booker back into the match, which led to the finish. After the match, Mr Kennedy emerged with a steel chair in hand, once again slamming the steel chair into the spine of 'the Deadman'! Kennedy stood tall, but the lights went out, and smoked filled the Wells Fargo Arena - as druids came down the aisle, ominously with a casket! The Undertaker's laughter could be heard booming, when the voiceover declared that Undertaker had just gotten started with him - and that Kennedy's date with destiny would come at One Night Stand, the World Heavyweight Championship at stake: in a casket match!
OTHER NOTES:
- It was revealed that Chris Benoit had decided to take a sabbatical from in-ring competition as a result of nagging injuries, coming out of Judgment Day's WWE United States Championship loss.
- A replay aired, reviewing Monday's brutal, one-sided Street Fight between WWE Champion John Cena and Vince McMahon, resulting in the Chairman being stretchered out of RAW and taken to a nearby medical facility. Michael Cole and John Bradshaw Layfield claimed that they still had no update on the Chairman's condition, but were sure that Shane McMahon would make an announcement this coming Monday night on RAW.
- It was announced that Mickie James, Michelle McCool and Ashley would take on WWE Women's Champion Melina, Jillian Hall and Trinity this Monday night on RAW.
- It was announced that Kane would take on Mike Mizanin next Friday night on SmackDown.

May 28, 2007 - Toronto, Canada - Air Canada Centre (14,000) "...To Be Loved" by Papa Roach Live on the USA Network (3.3)
SHOW REPORT:
- Monday Night RAW went on the air from the Air Canada Centre after Memorial Day weekend, six nights from One Night Stand: Extreme Rules, with Shane McMahon making his way to the ring with the Great Khali supporting him, as Shane O'Mac appeared hesitant about the anticipated announcement regarding his father, Vince McMahon. Shane on the microphone, began to discuss how last week an ambitious, hate-driven assault was conducted on his father, the Chairman of the WWE at the hands of the WWE Champion John Cena. Shane talked about how Cena has had it in for his father for quite some time, and coming out of the Street Fight last Monday night, his father has been diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome. Shane spoke out about how the Chairman is at home right now in Greenwich, Connecticut recovering - and while the most reasonable way to handle this, as acting authority figure in his father's absence would be to strip Cena as the WWE Champion and terminate his contract, he has other plans in mind: and those plans come in when Cena steps foot in the ring with the man by his side, 'the Punjabi Nightmare', in a match for the WWE Championship, in an Unsanctioned match. Shane declared that Cena had gotten away with something like this time and time again, he escaped the Great Khali at Judgment Day, he escaped demise against 'the Punjabi Giant', and he now escapes termination for concussing his father - but he signed his own death certificate when he chose to face Khali in an Unsanctioned match, because after last week, now more than ever, Khali is hell bent on destroying Cena for the WWE Championship, to destroy Cena's looks, his physique, his body, and his career! Finally John Cena interrupted, the defiant WWE Champion making his way to the rampway with a microphone of his own. Cena talked about how Shane is blowing this up way too much. He commented on how McMahon was a demented fool long before last week, from the years of beating endured from Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, the Rock, the Big Show, Shawn Michaels, and even his own flesh and blood, Shane McMahon! Cena told Shane and Khali that he's fought Khali now - he knows what to expect, and while he knows that he will suffer a lot come One Night Stand, one thing he knows for a fact is that he cannot wait to walk into Sunday and beat the Great Khali. Cena told Khali that he may be one intimidating son of a bitch, but that wouldn't stop him. And while he's sure Khali will do some heinous acts in the Unsanctioned match, Cena will fight fire with fire - literally. He will set Khali on fire, he will run him down with his car - he'll even shoot a tranquillizer dart if it puts Khali down. Cena told Khali that he's a scary son of a bitch for sure, but on Sunday it ends: and he will make Khali his bitch!
- In the backstage area Chris Masters was seen flexing using an apparatus when Todd Grisham approached him. Grisham asked 'the Masterpiece' about the Masterlock Challenge, and how only one man has been able to break the Masterlock before, that man known as the ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley. Grisham told Masters that while that is only one man, Masters has never been able to apply the Masterlock on someone as large as 'the World's Strongest Man'. Masters cut him off, talking about how chizeled he was. He told Todd how he'd been training all week long for tonight, and that tonight he would finally prove to everybody that he was the new strongest man on Monday Night RAW, and that there was no place for Mark Henry.
MATCH ONE // The World's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) def. Cryme Tyme (Shad Gaspard and JTG) in 4:29 after the German suplex by Haas on JTG. Benjamin and Haas worked together to weaken and keep JTG away from Gaspard during the match. Haas and Benjamin signalled after the match that they would become the new World Tag Team Champions after One Night Stand this Sunday night.
- Backstage, the Hardys were shown watching the World's Greatest Tag Team on a monitor, as Matt Hardy conferred with Jeff that Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas were physically impressive and gifted as a tag team, bringing up their accolades as being former multi-time WWE Tag Team Champions. Matt however believed that they could still beat them this Sunday at One Night Stand. Jeff however seemed to be focusing on his Money in the Bank briefcase. Matt picked up on this and told Jeff to focus - that they had a match tonight with Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch, and he needed Jeff to concentrate on the titles that they already had. Jeff brought up how he needed to use the briefcase wisely and cash in at the right time - maybe he won't get this opportunity again if he doesn't think of the logistics before going for it. Matt told Jeff that he welcomed him to cash in Money in the Bank after their title defense this Sunday, that he had been waiting for this all of his life, but think of it this way: the chance to become WWE Champion, and World Tag Team Champion. Matt told Jeff to think about it, but to get ready for their match tonight.
- Edge was seen arriving at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, 'the Rated R Superstar' lamenting about how this was his hometown, how he was at WrestleMania VI in the Skydome; how he wrestled in this building for the first time in 1998, and how he lost the WWE Championship for the last time last year at Unforgiven, losing to John Cena. Edge spoke to the camera, as he talked about how once the Unsanctioned match concluded between Cena and the Great Khali at One Night Stand ended - he would be the first man there to challenge for the WWE Championship. But tonight, Edge claimed that he planned to address his hometown crowd personally, with a special 'Rated R Celebration', celebrating yours truly.
MATCH TWO // WWE Women's Champion Melina, Jillian Hall and Trinity def. Mickie James, Michelle McCool and Ashley in 5:56 after a second rope sunset flip powerbomb by Jillian on McCool. Late in the match Victoria made her way to ringside, which distracted McCool, allowing for Jillian to capitalize and score the win. After the match, Melina led the onslaught as her squad of Divas attacked Mickie, McCool and Ashley in a four-on-three attack, until Candice Michelle hit the ring to even the odds - and after much brawling, Melina, Victoria, Jillian and Trinity bailed from the ring, having enough of the fight!
- In his office, Executive Assistant Jonathan Coachman was stood awkwardly next to his own desk, occupied by Shane McMahon, who sat in Coach's office chair with his feet on the desk. Near the Coach stood 'the Punjabi Nightmare', the Great Khali breathing heavily and disturbing Coach. Coach finally spoke up, admitting that he understood that Shane was angry that his father is severely injured right now with post-concussion syndrome, but asked why they couldn't just strip John Cena of the WWE Championship and terminate him from his contract. Coachman also added that he was the Executive Assistant, as given this position by the Chairman himself. Shane stood up and asked Coachman if he didn't like the way he ran things. Shane reminded Coachman that in his father's absence, he was the decision-maker on Monday Night RAW, and if he didn't like it, he could just go ahead and quit, he's sure nobody would care. All of a sudden, in stormed Carlito! Carlito barked at the Great Khali and Shane McMahon, how he knew that Khali was walking around destroying anybody in his path, and accused 'the Punjabi Giant' of assaulting his tag partner, mentor and good friend Ric Flair, not only last week, but in Italy as well! Shane asked Carlito if the timing was appropriate, but before he had a chance to respond, Shane wondered if Carlito had anything else planned for tonight. Shane was sorry to hear about 'the Nature Boy', but he knew for a fact that it wasn't Khali. But if Carlito wanted to pretend to make himself feel better - he could exact revenge tonight, in a match, with the Great Khali! Carlito glared at Shane in the eyes whilst Khali watched over; Carlito leaving to get ready.
- Chris Masters made a grand showing as he began to make his way down the rampway - 'the Masterpiece' having previous beef with one of the newest Superstars to switch brands from Friday Night SmackDown to Monday Night RAW, 'the World's Strongest Man' Mark Henry. Masters came to the ring where a red carpet was laid out, and Masters welcomed everybody to the Masterlock Challenge. Masters wanted to talk a little bit before, complaining about having to spend Memorial Day weekend in a horrible country like Toronto, Canada. Masters complained that what's even more insulting, is the fact that Mark Henry likes to show up as fat as he is, and call himself 'the World's Strongest Man', despite the fact that he is no 'Masterpiece'. Masters then showed a short video package set to his theme song, reviewing past failures of the Masterlock Challenge. Masters wanted to talk some more, but instead Mark Henry's theme hit, and out came 'the World's Strongest Man'! Henry climbed into the ring, bringing his own chair with him, as Mark snatched the microphone out of Chris's hand! Henry told Masters that he had three things to say before this got underway - one, you never call a man like him fat, or else he'd get his ass kicked. Number two, whether it's the United States of America, or Canada - it's Memorial Day weekend for the WWE, and he was going to celebrate by destroying the Masterlock Challenge. And three, Chris Masters was going to get his ass kicked tonight either way! Henry took a seat on the chair, preparing to take the Masterlock Challenge, but as Masters grew close, he suddenly backed away. After three times, Masters pulled out a tire iron hidden in the ring apron, clocking Henry across the back of the skull with it! Masters applied the Masterlock on Henry, and Henry was out immediately - and the official called for the bell. Masters had his hand raised begrudgingly to loud boos, whilst Henry laid unconscious on the canvas! Masters left, but Henry was flat out cold, and surely this would reek terrible repercussions for 'the Masterpiece' when 'the World's Strongest Man' finally arose.
- Todd Grisham was in the interview area where he welcomed the new WWE Intercontinental Champion Rob Van Dam back to Monday Night RAW. Van Dam arrived with the title on his shoulder, as Todd asked RVD about what drove him to accept the open challenge set by 'the Samoan Bulldozer' Umaga last Tuesday night on ECW on Sci-Fi, and Van Dam responded frankly, that he just thought it would spice things up. Van Dam commented on how Umaga had been stomping around like an ape as the champion for a while, and when thinking about it, Van Dam said he truly missed the monicker of 'Mr Monday Night'. So Van Dam was here tonight to open up a challenge of his own, inviting anybody to challenge him for the title - as long as their name wasn't Umaga!
MATCH THREE // The Great Khali (w/Shane McMahon) def. Carlito (w/Torrie Wilson) in 1:59 after the Vice Grip. Shane had a live microphone on during this match, as he directed 'the Punjabi Nightmare'. Carlito attempted to fight Khali, but he was too tall and strong for him. Khali refused to release the Vice Grip after the match, much to the horror and concern of Carlito's girlfriend Torrie. Shane told Khali repeatedly to imagine that Carlito was John Cena, and it was Unsanctioned rules. Finally, WWE Champion John Cena hit the ring, striking Khali with lefts and rights. Khali pushed him off, then attempted the Vice Grip on him - but Cena managed to slip out, also dodging a Tree Slam before attempting the FU...but Shane slipped in, a steel chair in hand, bouncing it off the head of the WWE Champion! Shane picked up a microphone and told Cena that this week from Hell was far from over, and that before his career came crumbling down at One Night Stand, one night before that at Saturday Night's Main Event, it would be Cena taking on himself, Shane O'Mac, in a Street Fight! Shane and Khali stood tall, as Khali held the WWE Championship high over the laid out Cena, who was in for a rollercoaster of a week at the hands of Shane and the Great Khali!
- In catering, slow, romantic music was playing as a specially prepared checkered cloth covered a table, candles prepared, and the lighting atmospheric for something resembling a date between Santino Marella and Maria. Maria commented on how masculine 'the Italian Stallion' was for coming to the WWE from nothing, and holding his own. Santino made a joke about how Johnny Nitro had it less together than him every time they fought, and now he has nothing. They looked into each other's eyes as Maria asked Santino what he wanted - he told her that he wanted to take Maria on a thrillride she had never experienced before...Maria meant to ask what he wanted to eat, to which Santino didn't know. He summoned a waiter, revealed to be Ron Simmons - asking him what he would recommend to eat. Simmons looked at the two of them, and removed his apron and chef hat, blurting out "DAMN!" at the predicament he had gotten himself into.
MATCH FOUR // World Tag Team Champions The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) def. Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch by disqualification in 3:18 after the World's Greatest Tag Team attacked the Hardys with a ladder. Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas joined commentary for this match, bringing up some of the biggest successes for the Hardys, and how it revolved around ladders. Benjamin and Haas laid Matt across the top rope on top of the ladder, allowing for the Broken Arrow leapfrog splash by Benjamin to take place. Benjamin and Haas then climbed the ladder, posing with the World Tag Team Championships.
- WWE Women's Champion Melina was walking down the corridor with Victoria, Jillian Hall and Trinity, the Diva quartet discussing how they were going to let loose on the women's division on all brands from now on. But suddenly the foursome were interrupted by Executive Assistant Jonathan Coachman, Coach telling them that he knew about what they were trying to do, and he had watched them over the past couple of weeks grow to become this faction of elitist Divas that think they're better than everybody else. Coach told the four that he wanted to put that to the test this Sunday night at One Night Stand, where it would be a cross-brand Divas battle royal - and it would be for the WWE Women's Championship! Whilst Jillian, Victoria and Trinity were pleasantly surprised, Melina was reluctant and complained, telling Coachman that she would rat him out to Shane McMahon, the real boss of Monday Night RAW! Coach told her that she could try - but he's already signed the paperwork. Coach ended it on one note: telling Melina to tell Shane that he could kiss his ass for all he cared!
MATCH FIVE // WWE Intercontinental Championship: Rob Van Dam (c) def. Kenny Dykstra in 2:43 after the Five-Star Frog Splash. Dykstra had preemptively accepted the open challenge laid out by 'Mr Monday Night', but to little success as Van Dam had momentum behind him. Immediately after the match, Umaga jumped Van Dam from behind and began to attack him. 'The Samoan Bulldozer' desperately wanted his title back, but just before attempting the Samoan Spike, Van Dam spinkicked Umaga away, then rolled out of the ring quickly - still the WWE Intercontinental Champion, much to Umaga's frustration!
- Edge made his way out to the ring to a mixed ovation from his hometown crowd in Toronto's Air Canada Centre - 'the Rated R Superstar' arriving in the ring for his 'Rated R Celebration'. Edge thanked the wonderful fans in Toronto for the warm reception, claiming that he's never felt it so warm and intimate to be in Canada throughout the entirety of his life. Edge talked about how he is proud to be a Canadian citizen however, simply to say that he is up there with Wayne Gretzky and "all of the other nobodies" that can call themselves above the rubble of Canada. Edge talked big, claiming that he's done so much in his career, as a thirteen-time Tag Team Champion, a King of the Ring winner, the first-ever Mr Money in the Bank, a five-time Intercontinental Champion, and a two-time WWE Champion. Edge said that he wants more titles, more accolades to add to that list - but he said he would wait until after One Night Stand to make that more clear. Edge talked about the names he's faced and beaten, from the Hardys, Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, Rey Mysterio, Chris Benoit and Shawn Michaels, to John Cena, and Randy Orton. Edge then began to go on a tirade about how for years he had been obsessed with being the best damn tag team performer in the world, but that part of him died when he was a part of Rated RKO with 'the Legend Killer'. Edge talked about how he made sure Orton was never heard for again two weeks ago at Judgment Day, destroying him with a Conchairto. And now, he is alone. Edge said that this road winds solely for himself, and nobody else - this is his world now, and the WWE was in his hands! A video package aired, reviewing the best highlights of Edge's career accomplished by himself alone, with Edge proudly watching on in reaction shots. After it ended, Edge wiped a fake tear, claiming that the monkeys in the truck had done an amazing job of the montage - when all of a sudden Randy Orton's theme hit, and 'the Legend Killer' emerged on the rampway! Orton had a microphone in hand as he told Edge he was sorry for interrupting. Orton asked Edge if he was done yet. He climbed into the ring, much to Edge's disbelief, claiming that a silly Conchairto would not keep him away. Orton did however tell Edge that he was the worst tag team partner he'd had, and he's teamed with knuckleheads in the past. Orton told Edge that there is only one way to settle the score and get rid of him, and that is to meet him this Sunday night at One Night Stand - inside of a fifteen-foot high steel cage! The fans cheered loudly, but Edge actually told Orton that he was on! But Edge had one condition - that the loser had to leave Monday Night RAW for good. Orton chuckled, telling Edge that he had a real thing about raising the stakes. Orton accepted, but wanted to give Edge one last gift of 'the Rated R Celebration' - a huge RKO, laying out the Canadian! Orton stood tall, as the match was made: Rated RKO explode this Sunday in a steel cage match, with one man in the ring tonight having just made their final RAW appearance for good! OTHER NOTES:

May 29, 2007 - London, Ontario - John Labatt Centre (7,000) "This Is The New Sh*t" by Marilyn Manson Aired on the Sci-Fi Network (1.4)
SHOW REPORT:
- ECW on Sci-Fi went on the air in the parking lot, where the ECW General Manager Armando Estrada was standing with 'the Samoan Bulldozer' Umaga. Armando was apologetic towards his former client that he unfairly lost the WWE Intercontinental Championship last week on ECW on Sci-Fi. Armando claimed that he had tried to dispute the fact that Rob Van Dam beat him, citing that the title match had not taken place on Monday Night RAW, but with Mr McMahon out of action and dealing with post-concussion syndrome, Shane McMahon is in charge and is very hard to get a hold of. Estrada looked around, then told his friend quietly that he may get into trouble, but he was making it official - Umaga gets his rematch with Rob Van Dam this Sunday at One Night Stand, and because he hates 'Mr Tuesday Night's chillax attitude so much, he was making it an Extreme Rules match. Umaga beat on his chest in enthusiasm, as Armando told Umaga that he had a show to run - but he wanted Umaga to stay put and be on the lookout for RVD. Umaga nodded sadistically, the Samoan savage lurking the outside of the John Labatt Centre.
MATCH ONE // Marcus Cor Von def. CM Punk in 14:17 after the Pounce. A back and forth match between two of the four men entering the Four Way Dance match for the ECW World Championship at One Night Stand this Sunday. Halfway through the match, Elijah Burke came down to ringside to distract Punk, and was able to interfere once Cor Von had the referee's back turned. Punk regained momentum and was closing in on the win via Anaconda Vice, but Burke distracted the official, leading to a fallaway slam, leading to the finish. Punk was vexed with the outcome.
- Rebecca was stood in the interview area with the intimidating freak, Snitsky. Rebecca wanted to ask him about tonight's Extreme Rules match with the Sandman, noting how Sandman and Tommy Dreamer teamed up to clear the ring of the big man last week. Snitsky simply looked down at Rebecca, glaring at her in an unorthodox way. Eventually she got too disturbed and simply walked away.
MATCH TWO // Extreme Rules match: Snitsky def. The Sandman in 7:23 after the big boot into a steel chair, into the face of the Sandman. Sandman put up a fight with the use of a steel chair, his Singapore cane, and a stop sign. Sandman connected with a Russian legsweep with the use of his cane late in the match, but Snitsky kicked out at two. After the match Snitsky nailed Sandman with a second big boot, when Tommy Dreamer made his way out to the aisleway, watching an imposingly dominant Snitsky glare at him.
- Umaga was still stood in his ring gear out in the parking lot of the John Labatt Centre, 'the Samoan Bulldozer' waiting for the arrival of WWE Intercontinental Champion Rob Van Dam, who beat the Samoan to claim his title last Tuesday night on ECW on Sci-Fi. A car pulled up, and out stepped Little Guido, who enthusiastically walked in carrying a brown bag of fast food. Guido was eating fries when he suddenly looked up to find Umaga staring at him, and Umaga struck Guido! The Italian-American tried to fight back, but Umaga sent Guido across the concrete. All the while in the background, WWE Intercontinental Champion Rob Van Dam walked right past 'the Samoan Bulldozer', looking at the sight of what Umaga had done to Little Guido! Umaga picked Guido's burger off of the floor, and took a huge bite into it, back to waiting for RVD.
- Elijah Burke was walking down the corridor with Marcus Cor Von, the New Breed discussing strategy. 'The Elijah Experience' wanted some help from 'the Alpha Male' in tonight's match with ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley, but Cor Von cut Burke off. Cor Von claimed that he didn't ask Burke for help to beat CM Punk earlier tonight, much like he didn't like that Burke tagged himself in to claim a pinfall victory on Lashley in the tag team match last week. But what does he know? Cor Von told Burke that he's pinned Lashley before, and he can do it again tonight - alone! Cor Von left, leaving Burke to shout back to Cor Von, claiming that he was going to take the ECW World Championship for them come Sunday!
MATCH THREE // WWE Intercontinental Champion Rob Van Dam def. Matt Striker in 3:03 after the Five-Star Frog Splash. 'The Teacher' got on the microphone before the match, claiming that he had been going through a dry spell as of late, and was looking for a win. He claimed that he was letting the New Breed down with his losing streak, but that he wanted to do them proud tonight by beating RVD in a non-title match. Van Dam got the better of Striker, in control throughout. After the match whilst Van Dam celebrated, Umaga suddenly came through the crowd - 'the Samoan Bulldozer' attacking Van Dam and attempting the Samoan Spike, just for Van Dam to connect with a series of kicks and a legsweep, knocking Umaga down! RVD scrambled from the ring, leaving the former WWE Intercontinental Champion furious.
- Rebecca was backstage with the ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley, as he prepared for competition tonight against Elijah Burke. Rebecca wanted to hear his thoughts about going into the Four Way Dance this Sunday night at One Night Stand. Lashley talked about 'the Elijah Experience' thinking that he got a win over on him last week, and that's fine - he can admit, he took the beating and the pin. But if that's going to stop him from winning tonight, or retaining the ECW World Championship this Sunday night - then Burke, and Cor Von and CM Punk for that matter, have another thing coming. Lashley went to leave, but CM Punk stood in Lashley's way - 'the Straight Edge Superstar' staring Lashley down. Punk cautioned Lashley in case Cor Von got involved. Lashley smirked, telling him that he didn't care if it was one man, two men or, in the case of Sunday night - three. There was no stopping Lashley.
MATCH FOUR // ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley def. Elijah Burke in 9:24 after the Spear. Burke held his own against Lashley, cheating at any possible opportunity available. Late in the match Marcus Cor Von finally came running down to the ring, 'the Alpha Male' eyeing Lashley up for the Pounce, but CM Punk quickly came out afterwards, dragging Cor Von from the ring and delivering the Go To Sleep to Cor Von! After the match, CM Punk handed Lashley his ECW World Championship as the two spoke words to one another. Punk raised Lashley's hand in victory...until Punk suddenly laid the ECW World Champion out with the GTS! 'The Straight Edge Superstar' had London, Ontario chanting his name as ECW on Sci-Fi went off the air.
OTHER NOTES:
- A video package aired revealing past Four Way Dance matches from the original days of Extreme Championship Wrestling, whilst a voiceover announced the rules of the match, that it is a no-disqualification, elimination free-for-all, and only one man will walk out of WWE One Night Stand as the ECW World Champion.
- A replay aired, reviewing last Tuesday night's big title change as Rob Van Dam accepted Umaga's open challenge, and surprisingly came out victorious, claiming his seventh WWE Intercontinental Championship.
- It was announced that in the eight-Diva tag team match set to take place on Saturday Night's Main Event pitting WWE Women's Champion Melina, Victoria, Jillian Hall and Trinity against Mickie James, Candice Michelle, Michelle McCool and Ashley, that the Extreme Exposé will be taking on staff roles - Kelly Kelly will be the special guest referee; Layla will be the special guest timekeeper, and Brooke will be the special guest ring announcer.
- Joey Styles and Tazz ran down the line-up for this Sunday's WWE One Night Stand: Extreme Rules.
- A trailer aired for 'The Condemned' starring Steve Austin and Vinny Jones. It is out in theatres everywhere now.

June 1, 2007 - London, Ontario - John Labatt Centre (7,000) "Rise Up 2006" by Drowning Pool Broadcast on The CW (2.3)
SHOW REPORT:
- Friday Night SmackDown went on the air with the lights darkened in the John Labatt Centre as druids came marching out to the ring, rolling the ever-symbolic casket to the ringside area - which this Sunday night will prove to be fruitful in the Undertaker and Mr Kennedy's methods of walking out of WWE One Night Stand: Extreme Rules, with the World Heavyweight Championship. After several moments, Mr Kennedy's music hit, and out of the casket came the man that challenges 'the Phenom' for his title this Sunday! Kennedy climbed into the ring and obnoxiously spit on the casket, Kennedy quickly reaching up for his microphone, met by boos. The Canadian crowd had no time for Kennedy, as he stood and talked about how he has mastered his fear, since the Undertaker believes that caskets and thoughts about the afterlife will scare him away from his destiny. Kennedy talked about how this Sunday night, he will prove once again that the Undertaker is mortal, and that the World Heavyweight Championship belongs around the waist of himself, the so-called 'Future of SmackDown'. The loudmouth talked about 'the Deadman' trying to instil fear in the hearts of WWE Superstars past and present for the past seventeen years, but that one man brave enough, courageous enough, and deserving enough will ensure that fear is no longer - Kennedy ever overconfident that June 3 will be the night that he becomes the World Heavyweight Champion. Kennedy wasn't done however, as he claimed that before One Night Stand comes tonight, and in tonight's main event he would beat 'the Deadman' fair and square in the middle of this ring, when Kennedy teams up with King Booker to take on the Undertaker and Finlay. Kennedy obnoxiously left by standing on top of the casket, strong words made by the top contender.
- Backstage, King Booker was sat in his throne when Queen Sharmell approached him, the royal couple smiling as they embraced in a kiss. Booker asked how things were coming along, when Sharmell responded that the royal makeover was complete. Suddenly a stagehand arrived, bringing in a washed up Hornswoggle, dressed in a tuxedo, frowning at Booker and Sharmell. Booker bent down and asked the leprechaun if he liked his new clothes. Hornswoggle responded by stomping on his foot! Booker bellowed in pain, whilst Sharmell was quick to try and convince Booker to give it time, claiming that Hornswoggle could be the newest addition to their family. Booker told his wife that he had a bad feeling about this, whilst Hornswoggle silently stood frowning at his royal makeover.
MATCH ONE // WWE Tag Team Champion Deuce (w/Domino and Cherry) def. Paul London (w/Brian Kendrick) in 7:58 after Crack 'Em in the Mouth. Domino tried to interfere several times, which got Brian Kendrick involved trying to scare him off. London was closing in on the victory when Domino distracted the referee, allowing Cherry to take the lead pipe hidden in her cleavage. She passed it to Deuce, but Kendrick ran in and dropkicked it away, but despite London's best efforts, Deuce still capitolized. After the match Kendrick climbed into the ring in aid of London, whilst Deuce, Domino and Cherry celebrated; the WWE Tag Team Champions jumping in their Cadillac and driving away, Domino honking the horn repeatedly.
- Mike Mizanin was shown in the locker room with Brie and Nikki, the Miz not particularly happy about his predicament tonight, where he must go one-on-one with 'the Big Red Monster' Kane. Miz complained whilst Brie and Nikki attempted to console him, with Brie giving Miz a massage. Mizanin grew agitated however, telling his girls that he appreciated it, but things had to change. 'The Chick Magnet' told the twins that he was going to talk to Theodore Long about this, leaving Brie and Nikki concerned.
MATCH TWO // WWE Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero and Gregory Helms def. Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore in 6:35 after the shining wizard by Helms on Moore. Helms blind tagged himself into the match, much to Guerrero's frustration. After the match, Chavo got in Gregory's face about stealing his thunder, when Jamie Noble suddenly hit the ring, laying Guerrero out with a sudden Slingblade! Helms simply watched as Noble stood up and exchanged words with him, Noble leaving. Helms didn't seem interested in what had occurred to his partner.
- Deuce, Domino and Cherry were parked up in their Cadillac backstage, the WWE Tag Team Champions talking about what they did to Paul London tonight, and how it will result in victory at One Night Stand. Kristal approached them and asked about their hopes leading into Sunday's Texas Tornado tag match. Deuce sneered at her, as Domino talked with confidence about them driving out of One Night Stand still the WWE Tag Team Champions. Deuce told Kristal to "hit the bricks", but the duo were suddenly approached by the Dalton Boys - Jesse and Festus Dalton looking at themselves in the rear-view mirror and asking the WWE Tag Team Champions about the mechanics on the "purdy" car of theirs. Deuce told them to beat it, but Jesse brought up how if they could become champions they could get themselves a hotter looking "pickemup truck". Festus agreed, asking Deuce 'n Domino when they could challenge, noticing how well dressed Deuce 'n Domino were. Festus even got a closer view of Cherry, when Domino told them to back off, claiming he'd never even heard of them. The Cadillac left, leaving Jesse and Festus to talk about what it takes to get closer to the WWE Tag Team Championships.
- WWE United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter made his way out to the ring, 'the Franchise Playa' strutting as he climbed into the ring, dressed to the nines in his suit and chains. Receiving loud boos from the Canadian crowd, MVP got on the microphone about how it feels to be the WWE United States Champion - citing that he knows exactly what Ric Flair felt when he won all of those World Championships. Porter bragged about how he's loving life, up all night drinking expensive drinks and going home to make love to plenty of the city's finest. MVP bragged more and more, claiming that considering he beat Chris Benoit and he beat Finlay, that he believes he should have more pull around here, claiming that SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long hadn't bothered to put him in a match tonight or at One Night Stand on Sunday. MVP over-confidently claimed that he should have more competition, but he understands when he doesn't get more competition - because he'd leave them in the dust anyway. That is until Matt Hardy's music suddenly hit, bringing out the World Tag Team Champion! Hardy stood in the ring to a loud ovation from the surprised London crowd. MVP asked if Matt got confused about where he was, thinking he was on Monday Night RAW. Matt told Montel that before anything, he knew that MVP was loving this role as a champion. Hardy claimed that he personally had never been a partying champion, but it must be nice - assuring 'the Franchise Playa' that he should enjoy it while it lasts, because Hardy was issuing a challenge to him! MVP squinted in surprise, asking Matt how much gold he wanted exactly. Porter told Matt that he even has a match at One Night Stand - a tag team ladder match. MVP told Hardy that he's stupider than he looks, telling Hardy that he didn't deserve a title shot being so dedicated to the World Tag Team Championship on a traitor's brand, Monday Night RAW. Porter sarcastically wished Hardy luck defending the titles in the tag team ladder match with the World's Greatest Tag Team on Sunday, leaving to loud boos, much to Hardy's annoyance!
- A vignette aired, promoting the return of 'the Animal' Batista after being sidelined after the brutal Last Man Standing match with the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship at Backlash. Batista returns to Friday Night SmackDown next week.
- SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long was in his office going over paperwork with Kristal, who wanted to inquire about how Vickie Guerrero did in her interview last week about becoming Long's assistant. He told Kristal that he interviewed a lot of applicants, and while Guerrero is good, he had to mull it over some more. Kristal rested her head on her boyfriend's shoulder, which Long responded by kissing her head affectionately. It went interrupted suddenly as Mike Mizanin came storming in, the Miz asking Teddy why he had been put in a match with 'the Big Red Monster' Kane tonight. Miz complained that he didn't deserve this, and that he was a reality TV star. Long chuckled as he asked Miz that if he had such a problem with the match, then he would simply give him another match: with the Boogeyman! Mizanin balked, claiming that Boogeyman was disgusting! Long responded, telling Miz that he had a choice to make - to face Kane or the Boogeyman tonight, and to hurry up because the match was next! Miz shook his head nervously, stomping out of the room.
MATCH THREE // Kane def. Mike Mizanin (w/Brie and Nikki) in 4:18 after the Chokeslam. Mizanin made his decision prior to the match, claiming that as much as he resented the idea of facing 'the Big Red Monster' tonight, he much preferred the offer of facing Kane instead of the rancid, undeserving and disgusting Boogeyman tonight. Mizanin bailed quickly, and even tried to get himself counted out during the match. He attempted to use Brie and Nikki as shields, but Kane was able to get his hands on him and put him away quickly. After the match Mizanin slowly tried to recover in the ring surrounded by a comforting Brie and Nikki, when Theodore Long made his way out to the aisleway and told Mizanin that his decision tonight may have backfired, but that Miz would have another chance next week, because he would be facing the Boogeyman! Miz's head dropped down to the canvas in response, whilst Brie and Nikki looked on in concern.
- Back in the dressing room of King Booker and Queen Sharmell, Booker sat on his throne whilst his wife sat on his knee - the royal couple astonished as Hornswoggle re-entered the room dressed neatly and hygienically in his tuxedo. A clean leprechaun bowed to them as Sharmell applauded, offering Hornswoggle a high five. Booker laughed as the King was pleased with what he saw. He claimed that there is a chance for him after all, although it had to come from being in better company than the commoner, his former knight "sir" Finlay. Sharmell kissed her husband as Booker talked about how Finlay will be humiliated at the sight of this rechristened Hornswoggle - the newest addition to their royal dynasty! Hornswoggle playfully clapped in anticipation. All from a royal makeover, a drastic change had come about.
MATCH FOUR // Ashley (w/Michelle McCool and the Extreme Exposé) def. Jillian Hall (w/Melina, Victoria and Trinity) in 4:22 after the inside cradle. During the match McCool exchanged words with Trinity whilst Melina tried to interfere, which led to McCool decking Melina and a brawl taking place at ringside with the managerial Divas. After the match Melina, Hall and Trinity attacked Ashley and McCool when Mickie James and Candice Michelle hit the ring, a mass brawl among the Divas from all three brands going on in the ring! Finally Mickie laid Melina out with the Mick Kick causing the WWE Women's Champion's consortium to bail from the ring. Mickie then turned around and was met by Michelle, Ashley, McCool and the Extreme Exposé in the ring - despite the eight-Diva tag team bout coming tomorrow night on Saturday Night's Main Event, on Sunday at One Night Stand in the WWE Women's Championship battle royal - it was every Diva for themselves.
- Kristal was backstage standing by with Finlay ahead of tonight's tag team main event, 'the Fighting Irishman' all fired up for tonight's bout. Finlay talked about King Booker and Queen Sharmell corrupting Hornswoggle's mind last week when Booker's missus cleaned the leprechaun up with a bucket of water - but that now they actually have the little guy on their side! Finlay was angry, talking about how Booker had crossed the line and that he'd had enough! Finlay waved his shillelagh around as he intensely talked about how the Undertaker and Mr Kennedy can do whatever they want tonight, he doesn't care - his attention is focused on the man and his mare - he was going to tear them apart for this!
- In General Manager Theodore Long's office, the SmackDown GM telling his girlfriend Kristal to sit down, catching her attention. She concurred, as Long told her that after some consideration, he had decided to go ahead and hire Vickie Guerrero to come on as Assistant General Manager. Kristal screeched in excitement, hugging her boyfriend tightly as she told Long that she couldn't be happier; Long informing her that Vickie would start next week. Long then began to confide in Kristal about how happy he was with her ever since the moment they met. Long continued talking when Matt Hardy arrived, the World Tag Team Champion apologizing for interrupting. Long asked what he could do for Matt, to which Hardy told Long about what went down earlier tonight with Montel Vontavious Porter turning down the challenge for a WWE United States Championship opportunity. Long told Matt that while he is hard working and deserving, that MVP did had merit to turn down the challenge. Long pointed to Matt focusing on the tag team division on RAW, that tonight's the first time he's shown up in weeks. Long did assure Matt that if he showed up next week however, he would be able to start back at the bottom of the ladder with a match. Long promised Hardy that he would be back in the hunt for a title shot in no time. Hardy thanked Long for his time, shaking his hand and leaving.
MATCH FIVE // World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker and Finlay def. Mr Kennedy and King Booker (w/Queen Sharmell) in 19:19 after the Celtic Cross by Finlay on Booker. Kennedy was in control of the Undertaker, and Kennedy and Booker went to work on 'the Deadman'. Finlay got the tag half way through the match but his run was cut off when Hornswoggle came from under the ring in his rechristened look - Finlay awe-struck by Hornswoggle's new look, which allowed him to be attacked by Kennedy and Booker. Late in the match the Undertaker and Kennedy began to brawl at ringside, quickly spilling out into the crowd. A distraction from Sharmell backfired as Hornswoggle got into the ring to low blow Finlay, but Hornswoggle instead ripped his tuxedo jacket off and low blowed Booker, leading to the finish. After the match Hornswoggle scared Sharmell away from the ring, and Finlay celebrated - reunited with his leprechaun friend much to Booker's rage.
- In the backstage area Mr Kennedy continued his back and forth brawl with the World Heavyweight Champion the Undertaker, as Kennedy reached for a steel chair just for Undertaker to fight him off with a throat thrust. 'The Phenom' was then low blowed by Kennedy, who talked about taking the title from him at One Night Stand. Kennedy charged Undertaker backwards against a table, but suddenly the lights went off around him. Kennedy yelled, telling 'the Deadman' to not rely on mind games for once in his life - but when the lights returned the Undertaker was gone - and instead of the table in front of him, it was a casket! Kennedy was weirded out by it, as SmackDown went off the air!

June 2, 2007 - Toronto, Ontario - Air Canada Centre (14,000) RAW, SmackDown & ECW Presentation "Boom" by P.O.D. Broadcast on NBC (1.9)
CARD RESULTS:
MATCH ONE // Street Fight: Shane McMahon (w/The Great Khali) def. WWE Champion John Cena in 9:31 after the Vice Grip from Khali put Cena out. Shane attempted to attack Cena using weapons, including a trash can and a steel chair. Cena got the better of Shane excluding moments in the match where Khali interfered. Khali held a steel chair in front of Cena's face when he was down in the corner, allowing Shane to hit the Leap of Faith going post-to-post. Cena kicked out resiliently. Cena delivered an FU to Shane and tried to attack Khali late in the match, resulting in 'the Punjabi Nightmare' applying the Vice Grip and leading to the finish. Khali and Shane stood tall holding Cena's WWE Championship high after the match.
- Maria was standing by backstage with Mr Kennedy, Maria wanting to ask Kennedy about the encounter that he had with the Undertaker last night on Friday Night SmackDown, resulting in the two brawling to the backstage area, where 'the Phenom' disappeared and a casket appeared, visibly disturbing Kennedy. Kennedy disclaimed that he wasn't disturbed, that he was surprised that the Undertaker had to stoop low enough to use mind games to avoid fighting him. Kennedy stated that for 'the Deadman' there would be no hiding from him tomorrow night at One Night Stand, and that he is the one that is in action tonight on Saturday Night's Main Event - twenty-four hours on the clock ticking down to the exposé of the Undertaker as a fraud, and the official coronation of Mr Kennedy as the World Heavyweight Champion. Kennedy took Maria's microphone and announced himself as champion loudly to a negative response from the Toronto crowd.
MATCH TWO // ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley vs CM Punk went to a no contest in 11:13 after Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von attacked the two Superstars. It was back and forth, with the Toronto crowd split down the middle in support for the two men. Punk was able to get his foot on the bottom rope when Lashley hit a Spear, whilst Lashley was able to block out any attempt at the Go to Sleep from Punk. Burke and Cor Von put the boots to Lashley and Punk respectively, but 'the Straight Edge Superstar' was able to cut Burke off with the GTS, and the ECW World Champion connected with a Spear clearing 'the Alpha Male' from the ring - Lashley and Punk left to stare one another down, one night away from the Four Way Dance match for the ECW World Championship at One Night Stand: Extreme Rules.
- Todd Grisham was backstage standing by with WWE Women's Champion Melina, Trinity, Victoria and Jillian Hall ahead of their eight-Diva tag team bout tonight that really all came about when Timbaland chose certain WWE Divas over them to star in his music video. Melina quickly cut Todd off claiming that it was much more than Timbaland. Melina said that no women are better than them, they are the most talented, the most scandalous, the sexiest, and more importantly: the three-dimensional stars of the women's division. Trinity joined in asking when the last time Mickie James or even Michelle McCool had hit a moonsault. Victoria claimed that as the veteran of the women's division, none of their opponents had any chance. Jillian sang. Todd then asked about the battle royal at One Night Stand where Melina's WWE Women's Championship would be up for grabs - uneasiness. Melina looked around as the Divas dispersed, but Jillian stayed. She started singing Britney Spears terribly, causing Melina to storm off, but Jillian continued to screech and crack whilst covering the popstar. Ron Simmons eventually arrived, declaring this as a 'DAMN!' moment for a startled Jillian.
MATCH THREE // Mickie James, Candice Michelle, Michelle McCool and Ashley def. WWE Women's Champion Melina, Victoria, Trinity and Jillian Hall in 7:35 after the Candywrapper by Michelle on Trinity. Layla was the special guest timekeeper, Brooke was the special guest ring announcer, and Kelly Kelly was the special guest referee. There was a lot of dissension with Melina's consortium during the match, which eventually led to the finish. After the match Melina, Victoria and Hall got into a shoving contest when Mickie, Candice, McCool and Ashley cleared the ring of the Divas. Mickie's team stood tall, optimistic going into tomorrow night's WWE Women's Championship battle royal at One Night Stand, where it is every Diva for themselves.
- Todd Grisham was backstage standing by with Randy Orton who received a surprisingly strong response from the Toronto crowd. 'The Legend Killer' was asked about the emotions in his head going on, leading into tomorrow's end of the line encounter inside of a steel cage with his former partner in Rated RKO, Edge. Orton told Grisham that the stakes were high but that 'the Rated R Superstar' is flying too close to the sun, and that tomorrow night at One Night Stand, it was time to make that bitch burn! Orton declared that he and Edge are two different people, that Edge has tried time and time again to prove himself as 'the Ultimate Opportunist' one step ahead of him, even to the extent of trying to put him on the shelf. But when it comes down to it, Edge is scared of his success, and it will take a lot more to take him out. Orton told Todd that RAW is only big enough for one of them, but that after tomorrow night - it'll be clear that 'the Legend Killer' isn't going anywhere!
MATCH FOUR // Mr Kennedy def. Scotty 2 Hotty in 4:06 after the Mic Check. After the match, Kennedy once again introduced himself as the next World Heavyweight Champion, counting down the hours until his casket match with the Undertaker at One Night Stand.
- A vignette aired, promoting the return of 'the Animal' Batista after a one month absence due to injuries sustained in the brutal Last Man Standing match with the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship at Backlash. Batista returns next Friday night on SmackDown.
- In the backstage area a party was going on for the WWE Superstars to celebrate the return of Saturday Night's Main Event to NBC. Among the guests, Cryme Tyme were seen talking to Dusty Rhodes; Val Venis, Jim Duggan and Eugene were sharing stories over a beer (and lemonade); Jimmy Wang Yang and Funaki were boring Shannon Moore and Scotty 2 Hotty by talking to one another in Japanese; and La Résistance finding themselves arguing with the Highlanders about which country is better - France and Canada or Scotland and the United Kingdom. Finally, Doink the Clown made an appearance, introducing Big Dick Johnson to the party! Johnson removed his tearaway pants and danced disgusting everybody in site...but out of nowhere came the Sandman with a Singapore cane shot across the back of the stripper, laying him out! Sandman and Tommy Dreamer had arrived with a case of beer, as Sandman began to slam the can against his head drawing applause from the whole room!
MATCH FIVE // Finlay and Hornswoggle def. King Booker and Queen Sharmell in 7:55 after the Tadpole Splash by Hornswoggle on Booker. This match was initially planned to be Finlay against King Booker, but before the match 'the Fighting Irishman' got on the microphone and proposed that Booker and Sharmell try and get some revenge - offering to make this match a tag team match. Booker was hesitant, but Sharmell was eager for revenge. Booker attempted to use the sceptre on Hornswoggle but Finlay fought him off. Sharmell actually body slammed Hornswoggle for a near fall. Finlay sent Booker over the barricade, before cutting Sharmell's attempts at running from Hornswoggle off by standing in her way. A crossbody led to the finish. Finlay and Hornswoggle stood in celebration much to the humiliation of the royal couple after the match.

CARD RESULTS:
MATCH ONE // World Tag Team Championship - Ladder match: The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) (c) def. The World's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) in 17:44 after Jeff retrieved the titles. Jeff used his Money in the Bank briefcase as a weapon during the match. Haas and Benjamin hit the Broken Arrow on Jeff, who was laid across a ladder balanced on the top rope. Benjamin attempted to charge up a leaning ladder on the Hardys on the floor, who moved and Benjamin went crashing through a table. Matt nailed the Twist of Fate on Haas from the top of the ladder. The Hardys left Benjamin laying with a double superplex from the top of the ladder, which led to the victory. The Hardys celebrated after the match, notably whilst Jeff was looking at his Money in the Bank briefcase.
- Kristal was backstage with Mr Kennedy, who she asked about his chances going into the casket match tonight with the Undertaker. Kennedy cut Kristal off, and quickly told her to leave him to talk. Kennedy began to address the fans watching at home, paying good money to see 'the Future of SmackDown' crowned the World Heavyweight Championship tonight, by simultaneously ruining the reputation of 'the Phenom'. Kennedy talked about how he's proven time and time again that the World title was his destiny, and that tonight, his aim was take it for the keeping. Kennedy claimed that the Undertaker can try to use mind games all he wants, but Kennedy claimed that he was the best of the best - pound for pound, the most fitting adversary that can take the World Heavyweight Championship from 'the Deadman', and lead Friday Night SmackDown into a new era. Kennedy introduced himself, to a mixed response from the Jacksonville crowd.
MATCH TWO // WWE Women's Championship - Divas Battle Royal match: Candice Michelle def. Kelly Kelly, Maryse, Michelle McCool, Victoria, Brooke, Torrie Wilson, Jillian Hall, Trinity, Maria, Ashley, Mickie James, Layla, Beth Phoenix & Melina (c) in 7:41 after Candice dumped Phoenix and Melina over the top rope from behind. This was Beth Phoenix's surprise return to competition after a twelve month absence. This was Maryse's first match in the WWE. Early in the match Melina, Trinity, Victoria and Jillian teamed up but quickly began to have problems. The crowd got behind the sole remaining Extreme Exposé member Layla late in the match, until she was eliminated. Phoenix eliminated five Divas, including Maryse, Victoria, Torrie, and Jillian and Trinity. Prior to the finish, Melina and Beth teamed up but began to have a shoving contest resulting in the shocking upset. Candice celebrated her win as the new WWE Women's Champion, much to the anger of a seething Melina.
- Edge was in the locker room backstage, 'the Rated R Superstar' readying himself ahead of the Loser Leaves RAW steel cage match later tonight, when he saw Val Venis and Viscera talking to the Highlanders and looking back at Edge. Edge suddenly rushed to his feet and asked if something was funny. Edge claimed that he had saved Monday Night RAW from the obscurity filled by them. He claimed that in the past eighteen months he had been a wrecking ball, that he had become a three-time WWE Champion - and what had they done? Better yet, what had Randy Orton done but bitch and moan and be dead weight as a part of Rated RKO? 'The Rated R Superstar' said that after tonight, his focus is set completely on regaining the WWE Champion, and that he would kill the legend of 'the Legend Killer' tonight, and banish him from Monday Night RAW for good. Edge stormed off, leaving Venis, Viscera and the Highlanders at a loss for words.
MATCH THREE // ECW World Championship - Four Way Dance match: Marcus Cor Von def. CM Punk, Elijah Burke & Bobby Lashley (c) in 12:23. The rules of the match were explained as being a no-disqualification match with elimination rules, where only two men were legal at a time. The New Breed teamed up to isolate Punk in the early stages, but 'the Straight Edge Superstar' luckily tagged in Lashley. Punk levelled Burke with the Go To Sleep, but Cor Von came in with the Pounce to eliminate CM Punk in 4:53. Cor Von and Burke then worked together to beat on the ECW World Champion, until 'the Elijah Experience' attempted to pin Lashley, angering Cor Von who dragged him off. Lashley delivered the Spear to eliminate Elijah Burke in 9:38. Lashley missed a Spear and went into the ring post, which was followed when Burke nailed Lashley with a steel chair through the ropes directly to the shoulder. Cor Von capitalized with the Pounce to eliminate Bobby Lashley in 12:23. Cor Von and Burke were hesitant with one another after the match, but the New Breed hugged it out and celebrated with a new ECW World Champion crowned.
- In the trainer's office the Hardys were seen receiving medical attention, Jeff and Matt Hardy having been through a war earlier tonight in the ladder match. Jeff was nursing his arm, whilst Matt was having his knee brace put on by the trainer. Jeff looked disappointed. Across from them sat the World's Greatest Tag Team, who scowled at them with jealousy. Charlie Haas had his shoulder bandaged up, whilst Shelton Benjamin held a cloth to his nose.
- In his office, the ECW General Manager Armando Estrada was with Umaga, who was getting himself psyched up for the WWE Intercontinental Championship Extreme Rules match later tonight. Estrada was motivating 'the Samoan Bulldozer', reminding him of how Rob Van Dam had humiliated him and stolen his title from him two weeks ago on ECW on Sci-Fi. Not to mention how 'Mr Tuesday Night' had escaped a beating of a lifetime last Tuesday night. Armando told Umaga to strike while the iron is hot, and to end Rob Van Dam tonight. Umaga roared, whilst Estrada laughed sinisterly.
MATCH FOUR // WWE Intercontinental Championship - Extreme Rules match: Umaga def. Rob Van Dam (c) in 9:29 after the Samoan Splash from the top rope through a table on the outside floor. RVD introduced a steel chair and a Singapore cane, which Umaga combated by introducing a chain and a leather strap. Van Dam hit the Van Terminator at one point, but for a near fall. Umaga's attempts at the Samoan Spike were thwarted by Van Dam's hard-hitting kicks. RVD bled from above the eye. After the match Umaga continued to destroy RVD, taking the steel chair and driving it down along with Van Dam's head. RVD was left unconscious, bleeding from the mouth after the match resulting in medics coming out to help Van Dam out of the ring.
- WWE Champion John Cena was patiently awaiting the Unsanctioned match tonight with the Great Khali, when Todd Grisham came to ask for comments from the WWE Champion. Cena talked about how he's never faced somebody the size of the Great Khali. He talked about 'the Punjabi Nightmare' being a raging menace on Monday Night RAW, as he was on ECW and Friday Night SmackDown for that matter. Cena claimed that he beat him once, at Judgment Day - and he knows that he can beat him again. Cena talked about the beating he received last night on Saturday Night's Main Event, but claimed that Shane McMahon is the voice behind the behemoth. Cena said a fire was lit last night, and that tonight in Unsanctioned rules, there was nothing stopping him. Cena said that he fought for the people, and Khali cares for nobody but himself and Shane O'Mac. Cena adamantly declared that he would unleash all hell on 'the Punjabi Giant' tonight.
- Santino Marella was stood waiting patiently outside of the women's locker room with a bouquet of flowers, 'the Italian Stallion' then overwhelmed with joy as Maria came out, and the two hugged and kissed passionately. Marella congratulated Maria on a heck of an effort in the WWE Women's Championship battle royal, with Maria happily accepting. Santino then began to outline their plan for the night in his thick Italian accent. But suddenly the two encountered the WWE Tag Team Champions Deuce 'n Domino with Cherry. The trio were parked up in their Cadillac as they discredited Maria's performance, claiming that she sucked worse than Santino did. Marella got fired up, but Deuce 'n Domino played it cool, telling Maria to watch and see how it's done right. Santino told them that they couldn't speak to her like that, but Deuce laughed, telling Santino to get some gold around his waist and see where that goes for him. They drove away as their music played.
MATCH FIVE // WWE Tag Team Championship - Texas Tornado match: Paul London and Brian Kendrick def. Deuce 'n Domino (w/Cherry) (c) in 7:56 after the 450 splash from London on Domino. Cherry took the lead pipe from her cleavage early in the match, which Deuce used on Kendrick, but London was able to break it up. A lead pipe shot from Kendrick to Domino led to the finish.
- Todd Grisham was with Randy Orton backstage, just moments away from the steel cage match with his former Rated RKO ally Edge in a loser leaves RAW match. 'The Legend Killer' talked about how 'the Rated R Superstar' talks a lot of big, and how Edge may be right that he hasn't worn gold around his waist on his own devices in some time. But Orton dismissed the idea that Edge was better than him. 'The Ultimate Opportunist'? Yes. But Orton claimed that Edge's ego was much bigger than his. He was more desperate, more driven - and that Edge would fall, crash and burn tonight inside the steel cage. And after tonight, Orton claimed that he didn't care whether John Cena or the Great Khali came out victorious - he was coming for the WWE Championship.
MATCH SIX // Loser Leaves RAW - Steel Cage match: Randy Orton def. Edge in 16:30 after the Conchairto on top of the cage. The match rules were explained that the match could be won via pinfall, submission, or escaping the cage over the top, or via the door. Edge brought two steel chairs into the match with him, symbolic of another Conchairto attempt. 'The Rated R Superstar' nailed Orton with two Spears, but Orton was able to power out regardless. Eventually Edge resorted to trying to exit through the door and over the cage wall, but Orton was resilient enough to prevent it. Orton nailed an RKO, but Edge managed to kick out. Edge's efforts at hitting the Conchairto backfired on both occasions, hitting nothing but the steel chair. Both Edge and Orton bled during the match. The crowd sang 'na na na na' at Edge after the match, much to 'the Legend Killer's joy.
- Shane McMahon was with the Great Khali in a corridor backstage, 'the Punjabi Nightmare' fired up for the Unsanctioned match awaiting him with John Cena. Shane talked motivation into Khali, who kicked and punched a trolley and an equipment box. Khali roared as Shane claimed that Cena's career would end tonight, and that Khali would leave One Night Stand as the first Punjabi WWE Champion.
MATCH SEVEN // World Heavyweight Championship - Casket match: The Undertaker (c) def. Mr Kennedy in 13:05 after the Tombstone Piledriver, followed by rolling Kennedy into the casket. Kennedy attempted to steer clear of the casket in the early moments of the match. Kennedy repeatedly tried to use all of his force to put 'the Deadman' in the casket but Undertaker fought back. Late in the match, Kennedy wheeled the casket down the aisleway, crushing 'the Phenom' between the casket and the ring apron. Druids wheeled Kennedy away in the casket whilst the Undertaker celebrated still the World Heavyweight Champion after the match.
- A vignette aired, promoting the return of 'the Animal' Batista. After a month away due to injuries suffered in the Last Man Standing match with the Undertaker back at Backlash, Batista returns to Friday Night SmackDown this week.
- Melina was throwing a tantrum in the backstage area, incredibly upset over losing the WWE Women's Championship to a "floozy" like Candice Michelle. Suddenly Johnny Nitro showed up with a beard, and not looking well kept after quitting the WWE last month. Nitro asked Melina if he could do anything for her, but Melina turned to him and told Nitro that he was a loser that she doesn't want anything to do with anymore. She said that he blew the WWE Intercontinental Championship, he blew beating Santino Marella, he blew his career with the WWE by betting it in a match - and now he's blown maintaining a relationship with her. Melina stomped away, leaving Nitro clueless in response. He turned to see Ron Simmons staring back at him, and after several moments he left the WWE alumnus with a 'DAMN!'.
MATCH EIGHT // WWE Championship - Unsanctioned match: John Cena (c) def. The Great Khali (w/Shane McMahon) in 12:16 after the FU from the staging area, dropping Khali several feet below through two tables set up on the aisle. Khali managed to use his size as an advantage against a very trying Cena. The WWE Champion introduced the steel steps and managed to use them as a weapon on 'the Punjabi Nightmare', but Shane interfered on two occasions. This left Cena with no choice but to take Shane out of the match - delivering the FU through the SmackDown announce table. Khali had Cena beat with the Vice Grip, but Cena desperately forced Khali into the referee, knocking him down. Cena detached the bottom ring rope and applied the STFU on Khali with it, but Vince McMahon suddenly hit the ring - the Chairman returning after a two week absence from a concussion - McMahon striking Cena with a chair. Cena went after McMahon and Khali followed, which led to the finish shortly after. Cena celebrated much to the chagrin of the McMahons at ringside, with Shane particularly unhappy at Vince returning so soon. Cena raised the WWE Championship high on the stage area above the car crash scene of 'the Punjabi Giant' laid out among the rubble of two crashing tables, as WWE One Night Stand: Extreme Rules went off the air.
OTHER NOTES:
- Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler called the action for the RAW matches, whilst Joey Styles and Tazz called the action for the ECW matches, and Michael Cole and John Bradshaw Layfield commentated the SmackDown matches. Ross and Lawler did commentary for the WWE Intercontinental Championship match, whilst Styles and Tazz called the action for the WWE Women's Championship match.
- There were video packages that accompanied the ECW World Championship match, the loser leaves RAW steel cage match, the World Heavyweight Championship match and the WWE Championship match.

June 4, 2007 - Tampa, Florida - St. Pete Times Forum (10,000) "...To Be Loved" by Papa Roach Live on the USA Network (3.8)
SHOW REPORT:
- Monday Night RAW, one night removed from an eventful WWE One Night Stand, kicked off with Vince McMahon making his way out to the ring. The doo-ragged Chairman, not looking particularly in the mood tonight marched to the ring and emerged before a booing Tampa crowd. McMahon hesitated as he looked around, before Vince spoke randomly about how he had been doing some thinking as of late, and he hadn't even spoken to the Board of Directors about this, but next week in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania - it was time to switch things up a bit. He talked about the WWE Draft in recent years being crazy, exciting, and unpredictable: and that's the way he likes his WWE. The fans cheered the sudden bombshell dropped by the Chairman, before Vince uncharacteristically talked about how John Cena is such a goody two-shoes, that he beat the Great Khali and he beat his son Shane McMahon - but what John did when he concussed him two weeks ago in a Street Fight: he couldn't thank him enough! McMahon repeatedly hesitated as he basked in the newfound appreciation of the Tampa crowd. Vince told them that he loved them all - but suddenly Shane McMahon made his way out to the ring - the Chairman's son wondering what Vince was doing. Shane got on the microphone and backed away from Vince's attempt at a hug, as he asked Vince what he was doing here so soon. He claimed that post-concussion syndrome was serious, and at Vince's age he didn't want his father out here tonight on RAW. Vince attempted to reason with his son, that "papa was doing okay", and told Shane to tell Stephanie that he was going to get "Rose-Aurora" a new bike. Shane was stumped, telling his father that Stephanie's daughter is called Aurora Rose, and that she was too young to ride a bike. Vince chuckled, telling Shane that he had a great mind. Vince continued, telling Shane that maybe he wanted to hear this because he was making the main event for Monday Night RAW tonight: pitting the WWE Champion John Cena and Shane's big friend, the Great Khali - in a tag team match, against Randy Orton and Umaga! The fans roared, but Shane was livid! The Chairman uncharacteristically bowed in the appreciation from the Tampa crowd and left, whilst Shane couldn't believe what his dad had done!
- The WWE Champion John Cena was seen backstage watching on a monitor, as Cena tipped his hat and wiped his forehead. Cena was approached by Todd Grisham, asking Cena for a quick word on the announcements made by Vince McMahon. Cena looked blank, and hesitated. He shook his head suddenly and told Todd that he thinks he had broken the Chairman, then walking away.
MATCH ONE // WWE Women's Championship: Candice Michelle (c) def. Victoria in 6:40 after the Candywrapper. Melina was on commentary for this match, and was still raging over the fact that Candice had managed to win the battle royal and claim her title. After the match, Melina stood up and complained that she deserved her rematch, facing off with Candice - when Beth Phoenix came from behind, stomping away at Candice! Beth glanced at Melina, who returned the favor - Beth leaving swiftly afterwards.
- Vince McMahon was walking down the corridor after his announcement for next week's edition of RAW being the site of the WWE 2007 Draft. A big smile on his face, the Chairman was suddenly caught up to by Shane McMahon, who asked his father if he had lost his mind. Shane told Vince that the Great Khali is out for John Cena's blood after last night - and come to think of it, Khali had the match won had it not been for him. Vince chuckled and told his son that he was a bright kid, and that he hadn't thought of that. Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch suddenly approached the scene, the two rednecks telling Vince that he had made some amazing decisions for tonight, but told Vince that they were looking for a big opportunity. The boss seemed impressed, telling Cade and Murdoch that he liked their clothes. He gave them a shot - a match tonight with the Hardys! Cade and Murdoch thanked him and high-fived, whilst Shane was left reminding Vince that the Hardys had had a gruelling ladder match last night at One Night Stand. Vince simply said that you had to give the fans what they wanted, strutting away!
MATCH TWO // Chris Masters and Kenny Dykstra def. Mark Henry and Santino Marella (w/Maria) in 4:32 after the Masterlock by Masters on Marella. Maria kissed Santino good luck before the match. Mark didn't quite know what to make of Santino's unorthodox style. Masters and Dykstra tried to work together to keep 'the World's Strongest Man' out of the match, but it backfired as Santino made the tag. After the match Maria aided to Santino after Masters had forced him to pass out in the Masterlock. He was closing in on Maria when Mark Henry started striking Masters - out for revenge after getting nailed with a wrench last week on RAW in the Masterlock Challenge! Masters backed away up the rampway, but Mark seeked retribution.
- Carlito was seen walking down a hallway tossing an apple up and down with girlfriend Torrie Wilson by his side, when the two ran into Todd Grisham. Carlito smiled as Todd asked Carlito if the news was true. The Puerto-Rican confidently told Grisham that it was true - that 'the Nature Boy' Ric Flair was in fact back tonight on Monday Night RAW, and that he couldn't wait to see him in front of the people again after another attack several weeks ago on RAW. Carlito told Todd that he had been investigating, and he wanted to know who was attacking his mentor, Flair, as much as Ric was! Carlito told Todd that he planned on introducing 'the Nature Boy' later tonight in front of the Tampa crowd.
MATCH THREE // Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch def. World Tag Team Champions The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) in 5:11 after the Sweet and Sour on Jeff. Jeff and Matt were worse for wear after last night's title defense in a ladder match against the World's Greatest Tag Team. Cade and Murdoch capitalized on the injured World Tag Team Champions. After the match, Cade got on the microphone and asked the Tampa crowd if they thought that this meant Cade and Murdoch were back in the title hunt after beating the champions - to a negative response. Cade explained that it was too bad, because right now they were making a challenge to the Hardys for the World Tag Team Championships, at Vengeance: Night of Champions! Jeff and Matt didn't know what to make of this, as Cade and Murdoch grinned, offering handshakes from the Hardys. The Hardys declined, wary of Cade and Murdoch's style.
- Randy Orton was seen arriving in the locker room at the St. Pete Times Forum, 'the Legend Killer' with a bandaged head as a result of the bloody steel cage match with Edge last night at One Night Stand. Cryme Tyme approached Orton, asking him what he made of the tag team main event made for tonight with John Cena and the Great Khali taking on him and Umaga. Orton was stumped, asking if McMahon had made this official. Shad Gaspard and JTG also coolly added that the WWE Draft would be taking place next week on RAW. Orton had to think this through for a moment, then told Cryme Tyme that he would talk to Vince about this.
- In the arena, Carlito stood in the centre of the ring with Torrie Wilson, as Carlito began to talk about how he hasn't done Carlito's Cabana in a while, but that he felt this was a special exception. Carlito talked about the man that has grown to be his mentor in recent months. He said that the man had really done his career some favors, and in helping guide his career the way that a real champion Superstar has - he has gained not just a mentor, but a hero and a friend. Carlito claimed that there have been several attacks as of late on him, but that the attacks were under their own personal investigation - but before presenting the facts, he introduced Ric Flair out to the ring! 'The Nature Boy' received a hot reaction from the Tampa crowd, as Flair strutted his way down the aisle - Flair returning to Monday Night RAW two weeks separated from a bloody assault that left 'Naitch' at home recovering. Flair hugged Carlito and exclaimed that it was good to be back on Monday Night RAW! Flair thanked Carlito and Torrie for their help in recent weeks, claiming that so many men have been out to kill 'the Nature Boy's career - but that they would never get away with it, because 'the Nature Boy' would live forever! Flair claimed that he had a lot left in the tank if you thought an ambush or two would stop him, and that he wanted more gold around his waist. Carlito then stopped to ask Flair about the attacks, that he knows they have spoken about this, but he wondered if there were any leads to go off that the WWE audience should know about. Flair turned around and told Carlito that like he told him, they jumped him from behind and left him bloodied on both occasions. Flair told Carlito that the attacker was a coward - as much as he appreciated Carlito targeting the Great Khali last week: it wasn't him. What Flair did know however, was new found arena footage from Moline, Illinois taken two weeks ago - and he knew Carlito hadn't seen it, so Flair told the production truck to play the footage! It showed Flair talking to Jim Duggan in a backstage hallway moments before the attack, when Duggan left - and a pixelated man jumped Flair from behind, pounded on him and then ran his head into an equipment box head first, leaving him for dead. Flair narrated, explaining that that wasn't all. And the camera zoomed in - showing the attacker had an afro head of hair! Back live, Flair looked Carlito dead in the eye, asking what he'd done to deserve that. Carlito answered by punching Flair in the face! Carlito stomped on 'Naitch', his so-called mentor left down and out! Carlito ran Flair into the hammock set up in the corner of the ring - Carlito burying Flair in lefts and rights whilst a traumatized Torrie watched on! Carlito held a newly-bloody Flair's face up close to his, then left the sixteen-time World Champion laying with the Backstabber! Carlito walked out, leaving Torrie Wilson to attend to 'the Nature Boy', who laid down and out in the middle of the ring. Why Carlito?
- Vince McMahon was on the computer in Jonathan Coachman's office, the Chairman seeming to be watching funny videos on YouTube and cracking up in laughter whilst the Coach awkwardly looked on. Coachman tried to suck up to the boss, claiming that his ideas were great and he really respected this new-and-improved relaxed approach as Chairman of the WWE. He suggested Vince make another idea - for Coachman to become the permanent General Manager of Monday Night RAW! Vince glanced up, then told Coach that that sounded like a terrible idea. Randy Orton suddenly came in, 'the Legend Killer' asking Vince if what he had made for the main event of RAW was true. McMahon nodded, whilst Orton asked Vince if he had his head caved in that badly by John Cena that he decided that that was a great idea. Vince nodded again. Orton told McMahon that that was fine and dandy, but he wanted one thing out of this: a shot at John Cena's WWE Championship at Vengeance: Night of Champions. Orton left, when Vince exclaimed that "that guy really needs to chill out".
MATCH FOUR // The Highlanders (Robbie and Rory McAllister) def. The World's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) in 4:24 after the rolling cradle by Rory on Haas. Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas were feeling worse for wear after last night's hard fought ladder match with the Hardys for the World Tag Team Championship. They were overconfident in working over the McAllisters, which led to their downfall. Robbie and Rory celebrated big for the upset, leaving Haas and Benjamin shocked and peeved in the ring.
- The Great Khali was seething, breathing deeply in and out as Shane McMahon broke the news to 'the Punjabi Nightmare' about tonight's tag team match. Khali growled in Punjab about having to team with John Cena, whilst Shane O'Mac attempted to reason to Khali about the virtues of teaming and winning with John as his partner tonight. Khali continued to shout in Punjab, when Shane mentioned the possibility of another WWE Championship shot. It shut Khali up, and he nodded - walking away. Shane wiped his forehead of sweat.
- Maria was with Beth Phoenix in the interview area, as Maria firstly wanted to keep everybody up to date on the condition of her boyfriend Santino Marella, claiming that he would be fine and that things were going very well between the two. Beth told Maria to pipe down. She told Maria that it felt good to come back after twelve months away with a severe jaw injury, and take out some pent up frustration. She said that she wanted more. Phoenix claimed that she wanted the WWE Women's Championship, and to make an example - Phoenix extended the challenge: she wanted Maria tonight, in that ring. Maria was confused, when Beth told Maria that it was simple - one-on-one, Phoenix against Maria, right now. Beth slapped Maria, then headed for the ring!
MATCH FIVE // Beth Phoenix def. Maria in 1:18 after the muscle buster. Phoenix womanhandled Maria for the entirety of the match. After the match, Santino Marella came out to attend to his fallen girlfriend, when Melina's music hit - bringing out the former WWE Women's Champion as well. Melina walked down to the ring and climbed inside, looking Beth up and down. The two Divas faced off, but Melina then suddenly backed off, leaving a dominant Beth Phoenix standing in the ring.
- Mark Henry was backstage with Todd Grisham near him, as Todd mentioned that once again tensions were running high between 'the World's Strongest Man' and 'the Masterpiece' Chris Masters. Mark began to talk about how he'd been a part of the WWE for eleven years, and he'd made a lot of enemies. He had made a lot of choices, and people still don't look at him in good light for that purpose. He told Todd that he reasonably accepted Masters' fun and games, he saw potential in the kid. But Masters was just another no-respect amateur that needed to pay his dues. Mark fired up, claiming the wrench shot last week in the Masterlock Challenge, and claimed that next week the two of them would face off, and it would be Masters' worst nightmare come to life when 'the World's Strongest Man' gets a hold of him!
- Carlito was seen storming out of the St. Pete Times Forum, the Puerto Rican having made a big decision tonight in assaulting Ric Flair after being exposed as 'the Nature Boy's attacker. Girlfriend Torrie Wilson attempted to chase after Carlito, asking him what was going on. Carlito told Torrie that he had made a choice that was best for him - but not them. Carlito turned his back on Torrie, leaving the building whilst an emotional Wilson watched on.
MATCH SIX // WWE Intercontinental Champion Umaga and Randy Orton def. WWE Champion John Cena and The Great Khali (w/Shane McMahon) in 10:51 after the RKO by Orton on Cena. Cena and Khali were reluctant partners, and Cena refused to tag 'the Punjabi Nightmare' in until Umaga got in. Khali actually managed to toss 'the Samoan Bulldozer' around, when Orton came in with a chop block to Khali. Somehow Khali made the hot tag to Cena, who came in and cleared house. He had Umaga up for the FU when Khali suddenly stepped into deliver a head chop to Cena - when Khali walked out on Cena. Shane and Khali watched from the rampway, as the finish went down. After the match, Randy Orton celebrated his win whilst Cena recovered. Vince McMahon's music hit, bringing the Chairman out to the rampway! McMahon seeked the applause of the Tampa crowd, which got a good reaction. McMahon talked about how the match was big, and that he was very happy with how RAW turned out tonight. Vince then decided that next week on the special WWE Draft edition of Monday Night RAW, we would see a six-pack challenge go down, with Randy Orton, the Great Khali and Umaga - and three members of the SmackDown or ECW rosters that will get drafted over to RAW! McMahon then threw in the catch - that the winner of that six-pack challenge will go on to challenge John Cena for the WWE Championship at Vengeance: Night of Champions! A lot of wary looks between Orton, Khali, Shane and Umaga - as Vince grinned, leaving the arena whilst RAW went off the air. OTHER NOTES:
- The rules of the 2007 WWE Draft were elaborated by Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler, who explained that there would be interpromotional matches taking place next week on Monday Night RAW, and that the winner's brand in those matches would be issued a surprise draft from the other brands. June 5, 2007 - Orlando, Florida - Amway Center (9,000) "This Is The New Sh*t" by Marilyn Manson Aired on the Sci-Fi Network (1.4)
SHOW REPORT:
- ECW General Manager Armando Estrada was in the ring as ECW on Sci-Fi came on the air, the Cuban General Manager looking very pleased with the outcome of One Night Stand last Sunday on pay-per-view. Armando began by saying how great it was to be in control of the ECW brand. He talked about how it was a great success last Sunday night, because not only did we crown a new ECW World Champion - but his best friend 'the Samoan Bulldozer' Umaga had regained the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and ensured that Rob Van Dam would not show his face around here again! Estrada was booed heavily, when Bobby Lashley's theme hit, bringing out the former ECW World Champion - not looking happy whatsoever, as Lashley stomped to the ring. Lashley looked at Estrada right in the eyes, telling Armando that he has a rematch clause. Lashley demanded his rematch with Marcus Cor Von tonight, telling Estrada that it's thanks to his authority that RVD has been taken out by Umaga, and that he lost his title. Armando laughed, telling Lashley that he would like to grant him his rematch, but with the WWE Draft coming up on RAW this Monday - he couldn't have his ECW World Champion going AWOL on ECW on Sci-Fi. Lashley cornered Estrada, grabbing him by the collar suddenly - Lashley threatened Estrada, telling him that he could punch a huge hole in his face right now if he wanted to! Armando struggled, but then told Lashley that he'd already booked him in a match tonight. All of a sudden, Snitsky climbed into the ring - Lashley turning around to see Snitsky glaring right at him! Estrada fled from the ring, announcing that the match would begin right now! Lashley looked incredibly annoyed.
MATCH ONE // Snitsky def. Bobby Lashley by disqualification in 7:24 after Lashley nailed Snitsky with a steel chair. Snitsky held his own against Lashley, and even dominated the former ECW World Champion momentarily. Late in the match Lashley was setting up for the Spear when the tron showed footage of Marcus Cor Von and Elijah Burke showing up at the Amway Center, Cor Von and Burke bragging about the official coronation of Cor Von as ECW World Champion later tonight. Lashley was irritated, whilst Snitsky introduced a steel chair, which Lashley blocked and used on Snitsky. Lashley delivered another two chair shots to the skull of Snitsky to send him out of the ring - but Snitsky was still standing and reeling. Lashley took it a step further, laying out the referee with a thunderous Spear!
- Back in the backstage area, new ECW World Champion Marcus Cor Von was with Elijah Burke, as 'the Elijah Experience' talked big about his plans for tonight's coronation. Burke exclaimed how happy he was that the ECW World Championship was now in the camp of the New Breed, whilst 'the Alpha Male' coolly told Burke that it felt pretty good to be ECW World Champion. In walked Matt Striker, who congratulated Cor Von again on a great showing at One Night Stand, and talked about how life was good in the New Breed right now. Burke asked 'the Teacher' what he was doing here, implying that he didn't belong. Striker reminded Burke that he was New Breed since day one of ECW. Burke then asked Striker what he'd been doing since then - besides from losing matches. Striker hesitated, when Burke gave Striker an ultimatum: if he was really New Breed, he'd win this match he had set up for 'the Teacher' tonight. Otherwise, he's out of their faction. Striker tried to reason with them, asking if he would even get a chance to know who he'd be facing. Burke smirked, telling him that he'd find out next. Striker reluctantly left, leaving Cor Von to comment on how dorky Striker was.
MATCH TWO // The Sandman def. Matt Striker in 4:11 after the diving legdrop. Sandman was banged up from his Extreme Rules encounter with Snitsky last week, allowing 'the Teacher' to gain some offense. Sandman repeatedly tried to introduce his Singapore cane, which allowed Striker to get a cradle for a close fall. After the match Sandman cracked a can and drank some of it, spilling the rest on Striker, now officially out of the New Breed as a result of the loss.
- Bobby Lashley was storming through the backstage corridor, opening doors in an attempt to find the ECW General Manager Armando Estrada. Lashley was furious, when he suddenly came across La Résistance, who playfully mocked Lashley about losing the ECW World Championship at One Night Stand last Sunday. Sylvain Grenier and Robert Conway talked up how hostile Americans can be once more, but Lashley was clearly not in the mood. Lashley asked La Résistance if they had a match tonight, to which they responded saying that they were going to punk out the two rookies, the Major Brothers. Lashley wished them luck, then laid out Grenier with a right hand, then kicked Conway in the gut, knocking both men down! Lashley continued his hunt, in search of the cowardly Cuban!
- Extreme Exposé were gathered in the backstage corridor, Kelly Kelly, Layla and Brooke all discussing the WWE Draft this coming Monday night on RAW. Brooke was concerned that the Draft would see the end of Extreme Exposé as a faction, but Layla seemed intrigued at the prospect of becoming WWE Women's Champion. It sparked debate between Kelly Kelly and Layla about who did better in the battle royal for the title last Sunday at One Night Stand. Suddenly Snitsky entered the seen, clearly taken aback by the chair shots from Bobby Lashley earlier tonight. He repeated to the startled trio that he wasn't finished, but he simply kept repeating himself over and over. Finally, Tommy Dreamer showed up behind Snitsky, telling Snitsky that he's right it's not over. He told the brute to stop harassing the Extreme Exposé, then challenged Snitsky to a match next Tuesday night on ECW. Dreamer left, leaving Snitsky to disturbingly, calmly respond, accepting the challenge - over and over again.
MATCH THREE // The Major Brothers (Brian and Brett Major) def. La Résistance (Sylvain Grenier and Robert Conway) in 6:55 after the Long Island Express by the Major Brothers on Grenier. La Résistance were nursing the effects of the pre-match confrontation with Bobby Lashley backstage. It allowed the Major Brothers to gain some control during the match, but La Résistance soon took down and isolated Brett. After the match, La Résistance were furious with their second loss to the Major Brothers and jumped them from behind, laying Brett out with an Au Revoir.
- Matt Striker was roaming the backstage corridor when he was approached by Rebecca, who wanted a comment from 'the Teacher' about his loss and exclusion from the New Breed. A despondent Striker told Rebecca that he can admit it - he is a gigantic loser. Striker told Rebecca that he's failed the New Breed since day one, and now they have the ECW World Championship - what does he have but a closet of ugly sweater vests? Striker refused to elaborate, simply walking away saddened by the loss.
- Back in the Amway Center, the red carpet was laid out across the ring as the ECW World Championship sat on a pedestal in the centre of the ring. Elijah Burke's theme hit, bringing out 'the Elijah Experience' dressed to the nines, for this official in-ring coronation of a new ECW World Champion. Burke, met by a loud chorus of boos, talked about how it is a special day in the life of ECW. Burke talked about how the New Breed has made headlines since they formed on ECW on Sci-Fi. He explained that they had taken out the ECW Originals, that Balls Mahoney, Stevie Richards, Nunzio, Sabu - where were they now? He commented on what happened to Rob Van Dam when you cross the boss. They even have a new General Manager - a fair and open-minded one at that, that is willing to finally allow ECW to move forward. Burke then took us to last Sunday night at One Night Stand, when the final piece of the puzzle was made, and a new champion was crowned. He introduced Marcus Cor Von to the ring, and 'the Alpha Male' came to the ring all pumped up and ready to be officially introduced as the ECW World Champion. Burke talked some more, about how Cor Von is the fastest rising star in ECW history - not Lashley, not Tazz, not even the Sandman or Rob Van Dam. Burke talked up how Cor Von did it, winning the Four Way Dance fair and square. Cor Von finally graced the microphone, telling Burke that it was nice to actually have the chance to speak for once. Cor Von claimed that he was the hardest man in ECW, and that nobody could step to him! He called himself 'the Alpha Male' for a reason, and that he saw, and he took last Sunday night. Cor Von then claimed that he sees a guy like Lashley stomping around looking for a rematch, but the fact is that Lashley isn't even on his level! Guys like Tommy Dreamer and the Sandman - not on his level! Cor Von said the same for anybody coming to ECW next week in the WWE Draft, and declared this a new era for ECW - 'the New Breed Era'! Cor Von picked up his ECW World Championship, holding it high whilst Burke clapped in glee. But suddenly, CM Punk's theme hit, bringing out the other man in the Four Way Dance! 'The Straight Edge Superstar' telling Cor Von that he had missed out on something. He acknowledged Burke, but looked Cor Von right in the eye and told him that he wanted his shot at the ECW World Championship. Cor Von looked unimpressed, whilst Burke told Punk to get out of the champ's ring. Punk smirked as he told Burke that he didn't control him anymore - and he was free of the New Breed, and what he really wanted was much like Matt Striker tonight - he felt everybody not only needed, but deserved to be free of this New Breed Era of ECW! Punk challenged Cor Von to a match next week, but Cor Von laughed, shook his head - then left! The New Breed left Punk standing dead centre in the ring, 'the Straight Edge Superstar' anxiously waiting for his time with the ECW World Championship.
- ECW General Manager Armando Estrada was seen in his office, Estrada certainly paranoid about the impending rampage of Bobby Lashley, given how Lashley had acted out already tonight. As it happened, within seconds Bobby Lashley stormed the room, Lashley cornering Estrada against the wall as Lashley once again demanded his rematch with Marcus Cor Von. Estrada commented that he couldn't even beat Snitsky tonight, and that he assaulted an official - not to mention cost La Résistance their match! Lashley once again demanded it, grabbing Armando by the throat! Armando pleaded, then threatened a suspension on Lashley. He told Lashley that he'd done this to the McMahons, but reiterated that this was his ECW! Estrada reinforced the WWE Draft next Monday night, and how he didn't know whether Lashley would be a part of ECW next week. Estrada got on his knees as Lashley released his grip. Estrada further attempted to soften Lashley verbally through honesty - but Lashley told Armando that in actuality, he didn't mind too much that he wasn't getting his rematch: gorilla pressing Armando over his head, and dropping him crashing through his own desk! Lashley left the GM laid out in the ruins of his own desk, Lashley telling Estrada that if this was it for him on ECW, wishing him all the best! Estrada spluttered, telling Bobby to screw himself, as ECW on Sci-Fi went off the air.
OTHER NOTES:
- The rules of the 2007 WWE Draft were elaborated by Joey Styles and Tazz, who explained that there would be interpromotional matches taking place this week on Monday Night RAW, and that the winner's brand in those matches would be issued a surprise draft from the other brands. - After a five week absence, the sound of 'the Animal' kicked off Friday Night SmackDown bringing out the former World Heavyweight Champion Batista! Batista graced the stage to a huge reaction from the Orlando crowd, excited to see Batista make his grand return to SmackDown after being sidelined by the Undertaker at Backlash. Batista arrived in the ring, where he was met with the nine-thousand Floridians chanting his name. He exclaimed how glad he was to be back, and how he had been counting down the days to climb back inside this ring and do what he does best - kick ass and win titles! Batista then spoke sternly for a moment, stating that the last few months have been incredibly humbling for him, because he has been beaten, he has been outshone, and he has been injured. But 'the Animal' claimed that all that this does is not weaken him, but make his mission plain and simple: and that's by winning back the World Heavyweight Championship - and defeating the Undertaker! The fans were ecstatic to hear it, but the WWE United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter suddenly interrupted, loud boos raining down on 'the Franchise Playa'. MVP strutted to the ring, as he climbed inside and told Batista that quite clearly he had missed a lot in this past month. MVP said that he had been overshone already, and overshadowed - by none other than himself, the new WWE United States Champion! Porter claimed that he beat Chris Benoit and made sure he was the best technical wrestler in the WWE today - he parties all night and he beats people for a living, and that he is the greatest champion that the SmackDown brand had to offer! Porter then brought up the WWE Draft this Monday night, claiming that he was destined for greatness - and whether it's Monday Night RAW or ECW on Sci-Fi - he was ready to take his title on a world tour, because his competition was himself! Batista smirked, as he asked MVP if he had finished. Batista mentioned that he didn't see MVP on the One Night Stand card, wondering what kept him from showing up. MVP claimed that it was the powers that be - Theodore Long - that kept him down. But then the SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long interrupted, asking MVP if he was holding him back, or if MVP was the man that refused to step up to the plate! Long came up with a compromise, inviting MVP to test himself tonight, one-on-one with 'the Animal' Batista! MVP was shocked and angered by the idea, but admitted that he wouldn't mind putting Batista back out of action. He accepted the challenge, on the condition that his WWE United States Championship wasn't on the line. The crowd booed, but Batista laughed, telling MVP to keep his toy, because he wanted the World Heavyweight Championship! MVP backed away from the ring, Batista's comeback match made for tonight.
- Deuce 'n Domino were in their Cadillac in the backstage area with Cherry, as Deuce and Domino could not believe that they had lost the WWE Tag Team Championships to Paul London and Brian Kendrick. Domino was determined to regain them. Suddenly, a horn honking was heard - and that's when a pick-up truck arrived containing the Dalton Boys! Jesse and Festus Dalton climbed out of their truck and told Deuce 'n Domino to get out of their way. Festus called them "fancypants freaks" whilst Jesse was enamoured by the vintage car model. Deuce 'n Domino were angered at the Dalton Boys' attitude, which escalated when Festus started hitting on Cherry. Deuce 'n Domino came face to face with the Dalton Boys, which led to Jesse claiming that those were fighting words, and challenged the former champions to a "throwdown" tonight! The fiery throwbacks accepted, seething at the audacity of the rednecks.
MATCH ONE // Kane def. Dave Taylor (w/William Regal) in 3:43 after the Chokeslam. Regal repeatedly interfered early in the match. After the match Regal blind-sighted Kane and he and Taylor began to stomp away on 'the Big Red Monster', until the Boogeyman made his presence felt by popping up from the barricade, and crawling into the ring, scaring Taylor and Regal off with worms dangling from his mouth. Kane was weirded out by the Boogeyman, who simply smiled and nodded at him.
- King Booker was with Queen Sharmell in the interview area with Kristal, who wanted to get some comments from the royal couple after their unfortunate intergender tag team loss to Finlay and Hornswoggle at Saturday Night's Main Event. Booker was outraged, claiming that Hornswoggle was a little perverted troll that had no right being in the same ring as he, a former five-time World Champion. Booker and Sharmell began to talk about how they are above the Little Bastard, as well as 'the Fighting Irishman', Finlay. Booker claimed that he foresaw great potential in Monday's WWE Draft, where he hopes to get as far away from Finlay and Hornswoggle as possible. But that said, Finlay suddenly arrived, shillelagh in hand! Finlay told Booker that if what he was saying was true, then he suggested one final battle between the King and his former knight. Booker stubbornly told Finlay that he couldn't wait to not have to deal with him, accepting the challenge - and storming off. Finlay grinned at the thought.
MATCH TWO // Jamie Noble def. Jimmy Wang Yang in 7:29 after the Slingblade. Noble showed a more aggressive side to himself as Wang Yang defiantly tried to match up against the returning cruiserweight. After the match, Noble locked in the Trailer Hitch on Wang Yang, refusing to release the hold. Noble then snatched a microphone and reminded the Orlando crowd who he was: he was Jamie Noble, and he wanted the WWE Cruiserweight Championship back where it belonged! Noble left, stern words to the champion Chavo Guerrero.
- SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long was in his office with his newly assigned Assistant General Manager Vickie Guerrero, who he was showing the ropes to after her successful interview several weeks ago. Vickie was taking it all in, as Teddy talked about tonight's line-up including Batista returning to face Montel Vontavious Porter, and King Booker against Finlay. Vickie listened, until the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero waltzed into the room with Gregory Helms, Chavo acknowledging his relative Vickie's presence with a polite hello. Chavo claimed that Jamie Noble was out of his mind, much like everybody in the cruiserweight division. He bragged about being the WWE Cruiserweight Champion and that he can beat anybody that Long gave to him. Teddy was all ears, and interrupted him. Long talked about the Vengeance: Night of Champions pay-per-view in three weeks, then talked about how the WWE Draft on Monday Night RAW may bring fresh life to the cruiserweight division - which is why next week, Long was making it official: a cruiserweight battle royal, where the winner would go on to meet Chavo Guerrero at Vengeance: Night of Champions for the title! Chavo was angered, whilst Helms seemed excited at the opportunity. Chavo stormed out, whilst Vickie appeared nervous for her nephew.
MATCH THREE // King Booker (w/Queen Sharmell) def. Finlay in 15:22 after Sharmell nailed Finlay with the shillelagh. Sharmell distracted Finlay several times early in the match, which soon led to Hornswoggle appearing from under the ring, tripping Sharmell off of the apron. Hornswoggle attempted to interfere after the referee was knocked down, but Booker delivered an axe kick to take him down and out of the ring. Finlay introduced the shillelagh, but Sharmell got in 'the Fighting Irishman's way. Finlay shoved her aside and went for the Celtic Cross, which resulted in the finish. Hornswoggle aided to Finlay after the match, whilst the announcers implored whether Booker or Finlay would be moving brands thanks to the WWE Draft this coming week.
- Funaki was backstage, reprising his former role as 'SmackDown's No. 1 Announcer', but he was quickly interrupted by Mike Mizanin and his girls, Brie and Nikki. Mizanin asked Funaki what he was even doing, thinking he could interview him. Funaki attempted to explain how long he had been interviewing Superstars, but the Miz told him he didn't care. Funaki brought up how Kane chokeslammed him and humiliated Mizanin last week, and how the Boogeyman had once humiliated Miz so much he didn't show his face on SmackDown for months! Miz told Funaki to shut up and fight, telling Funaki that he was going to make an example of him tonight. Funaki responded, telling Miz in broken English that he was going to kick his ass! Brie and Nikki were oblivious to what Funaki was even saying.
MATCH FOUR // The Dalton Boys (Jesse and Festus Dalton) def. Deuce 'n Domino (w/Cherry) in 5:36 after Festus rocket launched Jesse into an elbow drop on Domino, before delivering an elbow drop of his own. This move was referred to as Hog Mountain by the announcers. WWE Tag Team Champions Paul London and Brian Kendrick were on commentary during the match, talking up the idea of the WWE Draft shaking up and potentially disbanding tag teams company-wide. After the match, Jesse and Festus left the ring to get a closer look at London and Kendrick's titles, signalling that they wanted them.
- Theodore Long was talking with Vickie Guerrero further in the backstage area, the SmackDown General Manager introducing his new Assistant General Manager to Scotty 2 Hotty, Shannon Moore and Ashley. The two talked further, until Batista suddenly arrived - 'the Animal' grinning as he greeted Long and welcomed Vickie to Friday Night SmackDown, noting how much he admired her late husband, Eddie Guerrero. Batista wanted to talk business for a moment, explaining how he was cool with not facing Montel Vontavious Porter tonight for the WWE United States Championship - but emphasized that he was after the title that he ran Friday nights with before WrestleMania, the World Heavyweight Championship. Teddy told Batista that although the Undertaker is not here tonight, and although he's sure that the WWE Draft will complicate matters - Long would love to see 'the Animal' fight 'the Phenom' again, potentially at Vengeance: Night of Champions. But first, Batista had a match to win tonight against 'the Franchise Playa'. Long welcomed Batista back to SmackDown, and 'the Animal' appeared glad to be back.
MATCH FIVE // Mike Mizanin (w/Brie and Nikki) def. Funaki in 4:18 after the knee trembler into a neckbreaker. This was referred to as the Mizard of Oz by the announcers. Funaki almost had Miz beat with an inside cradle and a backslide, but Mizanin powered out. After the match, Mizanin took the microphone and talked about how he could wind up on Monday Night RAW or ECW on Sci-Fi - but one thing remains a fact, that the WWE has yet to see what the Miz is truly capable of.
- Kristal was backstage with the WWE United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter ahead of his main event non-title bout with 'the Animal' Batista. MVP cut Kristal off as she tried to address 'the Franchise Playa', who talked about how she was only interviewing him right now because her boyfriend Theodore Long was running the show. MVP talked big about himself, claiming that while Batista had been off recovering and brooding over the fact that he wasn't the man on Friday Night SmackDown anymore, that he was the man selling out arenas, winning titles and beating Superstars. MVP then asked how that equated to him not even getting a match at One Night Stand last Sunday. Porter told Kristal that after he ruined 'the Animal's return tonight, and after the WWE Draft - things were going to change.
MATCH SIX // Batista def. WWE United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter in 13:51 after the Batista Bomb. MVP kept up with 'the Animal', targeting Batista's ribs during the match which were still taped up after his sidelining injuries caused at Backlash. Eventually MVP attempted to walk out on the match, but Batista brought him back to fight. MVP attempted to get disqualified by using the WWE United States Championship, which led to the Spinebuster, which was shortly followed by the finish. Batista celebrated, whilst questions were raised by the announcers as to the effects and the outcome of Monday Night RAW in the WWE Draft, as Friday Night SmackDown went off the air.
OTHER NOTES:

June 11, 2007 - Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania - Wachovia Arena (8,300) "...To Be Loved" by Papa Roach Live on the USA Network (3.9)
SHOW REPORT:
- The Chairman Vince McMahon kicked off this special three-hour presentation of Monday Night RAW from the comfort of his office. McMahon read from a piece of paper as he welcomed everybody to the 2007 WWE Draft. He talked about how he did everything for the love of his fans, and that tonight was all about switching up the three brands, Monday Night RAW; Friday Night SmackDown; and ECW on Sci-Fi completely, changing the course of the WWE as we knew it. Vince appeared sweaty and uncomfortable, clearly still affected by the post-concussion syndrome caused by John Cena several weeks ago in their Street Fight. McMahon told the viewers to sit back, relax, and watch everything change as we know it tonight, as part of the 2007 WWE Draft!
MATCH ONE // WWE United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter def. WWE Champion John Cena by count-out in 8:29 after Cena narrowly missed the ten count returning to the ring. MVP was able to keep up with Cena, but when it became too much 'the Franchise Playa' began to stall at ringside. It eventually lured Cena in, and the two brawled at ringside with Cena attempting the FU through the SmackDown announce table. MVP stunned Cena with a big boot whilst Cena was against the barricade, and Cena narrowly missed the ten count. After the match Cena hit the ring and fended off MVP. As a result of the victory, SmackDown was granted a draft pick. It was revealed to be the Great Khali of Monday Night RAW, who made his way out to the rampway, roaring to the surprised Wilkes-Barre crowd! MVP looked terrified, whilst Cena looked relieved to be free of his most recent rival.
- Mr McMahon was in his office, the Chairman trying to solve a crossword puzzle with his feet propped up on the desk. Shane McMahon came into the room, approaching his father and asking Vince if he was feeling good tonight, because he needed to talk to him. Vince told Shane not to bother him, because he was struggling to solve a word in the puzzle. Shane then solved it easily, asking once again if his father was feeling okay. McMahon angrily threw his crossword puzzle on the desk, then asked Shane what he wanted now he had spoiled the fun. Shane told him that the Great Khali had just been drafted to SmackDown, and he was not happy about it. Shane continued to complain about how 'the Punjabi Nightmare' needed to be on Monday Night RAW, when Jonathan Coachman entered the room; the Coach telling McMahon that he didn't want to bother him - he just wanted to thank him for granting him to be acting General Manager of RAW for the WWE Draft tonight. Shane was offended, asking his father why he did that when he's here too! Vince smiled as he told Coachman that he wanted to talk to him about something, requesting Shane come back later. Offended, the son of the Chairman was angry, telling Vince that he couldn't believe he'd gone over his head!
MATCH TWO // CM Punk def. Mike Mizanin (w/Brie and Nikki) in 4:47 after the Go To Sleep. Before the match, Mike Mizanin tried to address the Wilkes-Barre crowd about how he is destined for greatness, regardless of whether he winds up on Monday Night RAW, or ECW on Sci-Fi. Punk quickly interrupted him. The Miz got in some offense on 'the Straight Edge Superstar' after a brief distraction from the Twins. As a result of the victory, ECW was granted a draft pick. It was revealed to be Johnny Nitro, the former RAW Superstar coming out to the rampway with a somewhat new look - haircut, new sunglasses, fur coat and all! Nitro, coming from the free agent list posed on the rampway to boos, much to Punk's look of confusion from the ring.
- The RAW Divas were in the locker room, WWE Women's Champion Candice Michelle talking with Mickie James whilst Torrie Wilson stood nearby in concern. Mickie asked Candice how she liked being the WWE Women's Champion, to which Candice expressed her concerns about the two teaming with Melina tonight, knowing that she has it out for her. Mickie told Candice not to be too concerned, because she would be in the match too, and that they would beat Jillian Hall, Ashley and Michelle McCool to prove that they are the elite of the women's division.
- Kristal was backstage with Chris Benoit, making his return from a several week long sabbatical - as Kristal asked the former WWE United States Champion if he was ready for his return tonight against Bobby Lashley. Chris commented that he decided after Judgment Day to take a few weeks off to recover from a few nagging injuries, but that he's back - and tonight in a first-time-meeting encounter, he was going to take Bobby Lashley to school. It's back to basics, and he's going to prove that he still is the best technical wrestler in the WWE today! Suddenly, the WWE United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter arrived, MVP celebrating his count-out victory over WWE Champion John Cena earlier tonight. MVP laughed as he told Chris he wanted to say hello, bragging about another successful win over a big WWE Superstar tonight. MVP was rubbing it into his face, telling 'the Rabid Wolverine' that it was good to see him. Benoit roped him into a tense, close handshake - telling MVP that he'd better hope Benoit gets drafted tonight, because if he remained on Friday Night SmackDown, he would come for him harder and badder than ever before. An intimidated Porter wondered what the hell had just happened.
MATCH THREE // WWE Intercontinental Champion Umaga def. The Sandman in 1:51 by disqualification after Sandman used his Singapore cane. Sandman defiantly fought Umaga but the Samoan was too much, resulting in Sandman getting himself disqualified after a head shot. Umaga didn't react to the Singapore cane shot to the skull and delivered the Samoan Spike taking Sandman down and out! As a result, RAW gained a draft pick, which was revealed to be King Booker with Queen Sharmell! The royal couple made their way out to the rampway, where Booker spun Sharmell under his arm, RAW having gained royalty in the King and Queen!
- Bobby Lashley was seen preparing for his match awaiting with SmackDown Superstar Chris Benoit, doing some squats in the backstage area. He was approached by none other than the WWE Champion John Cena, who smiled at him and shook his hand. Cena asked Lashley how he was feeling, to which Lashley playfully bantered that he felt better than Cena after he got cheated out of a win by Montel Vontavious Porter earlier tonight. Cena laughed, then reminded Lashley of being cheated out of an ECW World Championship rematch opportunity. The two laughed, then Cena wished Lashley luck against 'the Rabid Wolverine', Cena knowing how tough an athlete Benoit was. Lashley thanked Cena, but told him that he wouldn't need it. Lashley stepped away, leaving an intrigued look on the WWE Champion's face.
- In the Wachovia Arena, the theme of the acting RAW General Manager for the night Jonathan Coachman hit, bringing out the Executive Assistant to loud boos. The Coach stood on the rampway with a smug look on his face, as Coach asked how everybody was liking the WWE Draft tonight! He spoke about the changes that had taken place thus far, and how there was still a lot more to come on this three-hour edition of Monday Night RAW! Coachman then got down to business, explaining that although all attention is focused on brand supremacy on this night of rare interpromotional activity - however in two weeks the WWE presents Vengeance: Night of Champions - a night where every championship in the WWE will be defended. Coachman explained that after being granted this opportunity to take leadership of RAW, he had spoken to Vince McMahon and made a pitch for what would take place in the main event on that night. Coachman elaborated, explaining that John Cena would defend the WWE Championship against, not one man. Not two men, nor three. But five other men on July 24! Coachman explained that it was nothing against Cena, but simply put - being Night of Champions, he wanted to provide a blockbuster main event, and explained that anybody on the RAW roster after tonight could contend for that six-pack challenge: provided they were former World Champions in the WWE. Coach thanked everybody for their time, wishing Cena and all contenders luck!
MATCH FOUR // Bobby Lashley def. Chris Benoit in 8:32 after the Spear. A competitive grappling match between 'the Rabid Wolverine' and the former All-American in amateur wrestling. After the match, Lashley and Benoit stared each other down before shaking hands. As a result of the win, ECW gained a draft pick, which was revealed to be Chris Benoit! Lashley was stunned, whilst Benoit once again stepped towards Lashley and told Lashley that anything was possible, and indeed anything was now that 'the Rabid Wolverine' was on the ECW brand!
- In front of a monitor in the backstage area, ECW World Champion Marcus Cor Von struck a look of surprise at the revelation of Chris Benoit being drafted to ECW. Elijah Burke approached his New Breed partner, asking Cor Von what he thought. 'The Alpha Male' stubbornly told Burke that they would do what they do best - and prove that in the New Breed Era of ECW, it was out with the old - and in with the New Breed. Moments later, Santino Marella approached the New Breed with his girlfriend Maria on his arm. The Italian sincerely greeted the New Breed, telling Cor Von that he looked forward to facing him tonight, but claimed that he wouldn't go easy on him because Cor Von was ECW World Champion - and Marella wanted to prove that he was title material. Maria kissed him on the cheek. Burke squared up to Santino and told the "greenhorn" to get out of their way. 'The Elijah Experience' left, when Cor Von stepped to Santino, telling 'the Italian Stallion' that he would face the Pounce tonight. After leaving, Santino told his visibly nervous girlfriend that he thought they were nice people.
MATCH FIVE // Santino Marella (w/Maria) def. ECW World Champion Marcus Cor Von (w/Elijah Burke) in 4:25 after an inside cradle. Cor Von used his size to power the Italian around, but Santino worked hard to fight back. Burke attempted to distract Santino and make way for the Pounce, but Santino caught him for the finish. After the match, Burke jumped Marella; 'the Elijah Express' laying Marella out with a sharp right boxing hook. While Marella recovered, Cor Von delivered an aggressive Pounce to Marella, taking him down and out. The win allowed RAW to gain a draft pick, revealed to be Snitsky! Snitsky came stomping out to the rampway, the intimidating monster glaring down the New Breed, who actually appeared relieved that Snitsky would no longer be a part of the New Breed Era of ECW.
- In the backstage area, Ashley and Michelle McCool were discussing strategy ahead of the RAW vs SmackDown Divas tag team bout tonight - when Jillian Hall arrived, singing loudly and badly. Jillian told Ashley and Michelle that she was willing to put her talents aside for one night, to come down to their "level" and seduce the fans of Monday Night RAW - if it meant giving SmackDown brand superiority, and a draft pick. Ashley and Michelle didn't want to hear it, telling Jillian that if they had a choice - they'd pick Maryse over her. Jillian was obviously feeling slighted by their comments and obnoxiously began singing badly once more. Eugene and Jim Duggan passed by - Eugene clapping in response to Hall's voice. He asked for her autograph, disturbing Jillian who requested personal space. She then turned back to find 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan. He looked at her with wide eyes, then let out one big "HOOO" echoed by the Wilkes-Barre crowd!
MATCH SIX // WWE Women's Champion Candice Michelle, Mickie James and Melina def. Michelle McCool, Ashley and Jillian Hall in 2:56 after the Extreme Makeover by Melina on Ashley. Melina argued with Candice and Mickie throughout. Jillian was in trouble during the match and tried to tag in Ashley and McCool, who initially let the beating on Jillian continue. After the match, Melina faced off with Candice - obviously wanting her rematch for the WWE Women's Championship. Beth Phoenix then made her way out to the ring, obviously also wanting her opportunity at the title whilst Mickie also appeared interested. The match resulted in RAW gaining a draft pick, which was revealed to be Mr Kennedy! Kennedy came out to the aisleway to interrupt the four-Diva face-off - making his return after being locked in a casket by the Undertaker at One Night Stand, and reaching high for his microphone. Under a spotlight, Kennedy declared his arrival to Monday Night RAW, formally introducing himself to the "uninformed"!
- Mr McMahon was giddy in his office, applauding Jonathan Coachman on his announcement earlier tonight, explaing how excited he was for the six-pack challenge at Vengeance: Night of Champions. He claimed that the fans were happy with the announcement, and so he's happy too! Coach was quizzical, asking McMahon if he's not mad at John Cena at all for concussing him several weeks ago in a Street Fight. Vince laughed and told Coach that he wasn't, then told Coachman that he had a real knack for this job that he had never realized before. The Chairman appeared to be promoting Coachman to the position of RAW General Manager, but then suddenly tripped over his table leg! McMahon went down like a stack of bricks much to the concern of Coach - when Randy Orton entered the room. 'The Legend Killer' stopped to notice McMahon down and apparently knocked out, but then looked Coach in the eyes. Orton demanded to be entered into the WWE Championship match at Vengeance, to which Coach accepted! Orton nodded, then recommended that Coach get Vince some ice for that bump on his forehead. McMahon slowly tried to get back up, obviously more dazed than before.
MATCH SEVEN // WWE Tag Team Champions Paul London and Brian Kendrick def. World Tag Team Champions The Hardys (Jeff and Matt Hardy) in 7:35 after the 450 splash by London on Jeff. It was explained before the match that despite being a SmackDown Superstar, that Matt Hardy was representing RAW by default, due to holding the World Tag Team Championship. Late in the match Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch hit the ringside area, Cade distracting the referee allowing Murdoch to come in and deliver a DDT to Jeff, allowing the finish to take place. Cade and Murdoch attempted to attack London and Kendrick, but Matt fought them off - allowing the two pairs of Tag Team Champions to shake hands whilst Cade and Murdoch retreated. As a result of the win, SmackDown earned a draft pick which was revealed to be Kevin Thorn with Ariel! The vampire and his mistress wandered to the rampway in darkness, Thorn dipping Ariel whilst the two creatures of the night passionately kissed to the disturbed looks of the Wilkes-Barre crowd.
- Backstage the New Breed were furious about the upset loss to Santino Marella earlier tonight, Marcus Cor Von clearly not off to a hot start as ECW World Champion. Elijah Burke attempted to keep 'the Alpha Male's confidence high, reminding him that he had a match up next with Finlay, and that he would make sure this one goes their way. Cor Von told Burke that he was coming with him. Cor Von spoke that he knew Hornswoggle would be there, and that there would be no better way than to take out his frustrations on 'the Little Bastard'.
- King Booker's theme hit, bringing out the royal couple - Booker and his wife Queen Sharmell once again gracing the Wilkes-Barre crowd. The two new additions to Monday Night RAW made their way to the ring, where Booker graced the microphone. Booker claimed that the King had returned to the RAW brand, and that things were going to change around here. The royal couple were booed loudly, not helped when Sharmell took the microphone and told the fans to shut up and pay respect to the King of RAW. Booker thanked his wife for her loyalty, before claiming that it was just a matter of time until they too showed loyalty to the King. Booker exclaimed that he was a former six time World Champion, and when he sees a man like John Cena wearing "bling" around his waist, it disparages the industry, it disparages each one of his title victories, and it disparages him. Booker stated that he had no interest in knowing what Randy Orton had to think, another disrespectful youth not worthy of being in the ring with him - nor will he care who else is in the six-pack challenge. Booker claimed that on July 24 at Vengeance: Night of Champions, he would claim his seventh World Championship, and RAW would become his playground. All of a sudden, Mick Foley's theme hit - introducing 'the Hardcore Legend'! Foley was met with a huge reaction for his surprise appearance, besmirching the King and Queen! Foley got on the microphone and told Booker that he was looking very classy as of late, although it was a shame that he couldn't say the same about his wife! Foley told Booker that he did not intend to steal their thunder, but he couldn't resist himself. Foley told Booker that much like Orton, and himself - he was a former World Champion too. And like Orton - and Booker, as of tonight - technically, he is still a member of the RAW roster. Foley announced his own entrance into the WWE Championship six-pack challenge, then told the royal couple to have a nice day! Foley left with his fist raised in the air - Booker and Sharmell irritated by Foley coming out and stealing their announcement, and using it against them!
MATCH EIGHT // Finlay def. Elijah Burke (w/Marcus Cor Von) in 5:49 after the roll-up with the tights. 'The Fighting Irishman' attempted to fight the ECW World Champion after Marcus Cor Von attempted to get involved, which in turn allowed Burke to gain control. Hornswoggle did in fact make an appearance, sneaking up behind Cor Von and stealing the ECW World Championship from him, causing Cor Von to chase him into the ring, where he was lambasted by Finlay upon entry! Burke gained control, but the upset knocked off 'the Elijah Experience' regardless. After the match the New Breed were furious at the loss whilst Finlay escaped the ring, hugging Hornswoggle for the assist. As a result of the win, SmackDown gained a draft pick which was revealed to be Ric Flair! 'The Nature Boy's theme played, but instead of Flair, Carlito came out to the rampway, chewed on an apple, then spat it out - leaving in drastic fashion. What had gotten into Carlito lately?
- Todd Grisham was backstage with WWE Champion John Cena, as Todd wanted to get the champ's thoughts on the WWE Draft, and how he feels about having to defend the WWE Championship in a six-pack challenge against five other former champions at Vengeance in two weeks. Cena exclaimed how the WWE is shaking things up, and he can't help but feel in some way responsible for the WWE Draft taking place, given he knocked the Chairman Vince McMahon silly several weeks ago to the point he's seeing canaries right now. Cena continued, exclaiming excitement at how RAW had gained Mr Kennedy, King Booker, and more would be revealed tomorrow on WWE.com's Supplemental Draft. But Cena spoke seriously about how much competition would be coming out of the woodwork after Jonathan Coachman's announcement for the WWE Championship six-pack challenge - hell, even Mick Foley's coming back to challenge him. Cena had one thing to say to any entrants: that he would fight them all, but one thing's certain: he will take on all comers, and he will walk out of Vengeance: Night of Champions still the WWE Champion.
MATCH NINE // 30-Man Battle Royal: Randy Orton def. Little Guido, Eugene, Shannon Moore, JTG, Brett Major, Brian Major, Deuce, Domino, Jim Duggan, Gregory Helms, Stevie Richards, Jesse Dalton, Chris Masters, Robert Conway, William Regal, Sylvain Grenier, Festus Dalton, Chavo Guerrero, Matt Striker, Jamie Noble, Shad Gaspard, Tommy Dreamer, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, the Sandman, Carlito, Kane, Mark Henry, & Bobby Lashley in 16:22 after Orton dumped Lashley immediately after they had teamed up to eliminate Henry. Kane and Mark Henry teamed up for a portion of the match. After being eliminated, Carlito punched out two referees in anger. After the match, Orton celebrated and motioned that he would be the next WWE Champion come the six-pack challenge at Vengeance. As a result of the win, RAW earned two draft picks. The first was revealed to be the Sandman, who came out to the rampway and started slamming his Singapore cane against his head and spitting out beer. The second, was revealed to be Bobby Lashley, who nodded his head in anticipation in the direction of a visibly concerned 'Legend Killer'. - Shane McMahon was seen stomping around the backstage hallway, obviously beside himself at the fact that Vince McMahon had placed his trust in Jonathan Coachman over his own son, to be RAW General Manager tonight. He was suddenly approached by Jonathan Coachman, who appeared distressed. The Coach confessed to Shane about what had happened to Vince McMahon earlier tonight, explaining that McMahon had tripped and fallen, but that he would be okay. Shane was obviously not glad to see Coach, but panicked and stormed down the hall with Coach following. The two entered the Chairman's office to find Vince McMahon with a bandaid on his forehead, sucking on a lollipop. Vince smiled as he brought up a great idea for Vengeance: Night of Champions - Bobby Lashley challenging Umaga for the WWE Intercontinental Championship! Shane was dumbfounded at how Vince, who was shaved bald in a humiliating WrestleMania moment this year, had put the man he despised in line for a title shot! Shane told Coach that Vince was not okay and needed to go home. Coach then grabbed Shane and told him discreetly that he knows something is wrong with the Chairman - but told Shane that it's clear Vince needs a peaceful atmosphere right now while he recovers. Shane asked Coach if his father had taken all of the prescribed pills, to which Coach responded that he had. Coachman then pitched an idea for RAW next week of his own: Mr McMahon Appreciation Night. Shane nodded his head, but told Coach that he would allow it - on the terms that it was he who was running Monday Night RAW that night. Shane walked out, deflating Coach's high spirits. Vince suddenly turned on the stereo with a remote and began to dance to a jazzy tune whilst Monday Night RAW went off the air.
