I wanted to give myself some instant gratification today, so I opened up the closet where all of my MOC figures are sitting so I could grab one to open.
After about ten minutes staring and deliberating, I finally went back to my desk to work.
It appears I don't really want to open anything (even though I do!). I think I will narrow it down to five or so and post a poll to help decide.

If you don't know who you want to open, why would you want strangers to decide for you?
Open a character you like.
Open a figure you'd have fun displaying.
Open a figure that's colorful.
Whatever...

I open all of my figures so I've never had this dilemma. I just couldn't imagine not opening them, it feels like such a waste. Most people keep their figures MOC because they "might be worth something one day" but don't have any plans to ever sell them so it's just silly to me. It's like hoarding. I love the feeling of opening them and having them in my hand. If you can't do that you might as well just go to the store and look at them. It would be cheaper.
Not to mention that "new figure smell" when you open them damn near gives me a wet dream while I'm awake.
I only have 3 figures still in their box: Alexa Bliss, Emma and Gail Kim. Mostly because I hope to get them signed one day.

Plus, they take a lot less storage space without all the boxes lying around. Besides, MOC they end up all bitter and hateful, like the old Prospector from Toy Story 2.  |

I just recently opened up half of my moc collection and it felt great. Moc collections take up too much space, plus whats the point of keeping a brodus clay, Alberto del rio figure Moc.

I've run out of space over the last year or so. So I've been opening most of my figures. Recently I took a look at my collection and had to decide what I could live without being moc. Since I collect for the love of the hobby and not for any monetary gain it was pretty easy. I opened about 200 figures. They take a lot less space and look cool displayed loose too.
