John cena is in basic 74 attire but in black shorts what he wore from royal rumble up to wrestlemania 33
Sami Zayn is in roadblock 2016 attire
Dolph ziggler in no mercy 2016 attire or attire from smackdown November 16 2016
Aj styles is in blue attire and I hope Mattel add his new tattoo cause now he has 4 date of birth on his side cause before he had 3 date of births

...I was just thinking the other day, how there hasn't been a Basic Macho Man for AGES, so this is a nice surprise - aside from that t-shirt series one, I think the last regular one was in 2013? We had that nwo fan pack basic but that wasn't in the mainline. |

If Ziggler has a new scan that looks more like him and his hair like that pic above then I would get it. I am not really digging his most recent scan and I definitely hate his wig hair.

I hope they dont waste a good macho king attire on a basic Rr90, wm6 i hope are saved for elites Hopefully they jusy re release purple trunks macho king as a basic so they dont waste another attire on a basic like.wm5 THIS. 1,000,000x this. Probably the best post I've ever seen on this board. So true. While I'm excited to see another Macho King, I'm nervous for wat attire Mattel chooses for this basic. If it's anything other than early Macho King (read: purple trunks), I'll be so disappointed we didn't get it in Elite form. |

If they make another Rock that looks the same, another Cena that looks the same, etc, it will be terrible. But if somehow they think outside the box they could have some cool figs. Rock with turtleneck and fanny pack? Old school rapper Cena with fuzzy bucket hat? Brown haired Dolph Ziggler like he had for a week? See, it could be cool. It won't be, but it could. |

Of course it's selfish! I am one collector who buys for only one collection: mine. So my opinion is based on what MY collection needs. I guess you support multiple people's collections. Bully for them.  But in basic form, the point remains. A Macho King cannot be a complete Macho King without his crown and scepter at least. I think that's a very unselfish, objectively undeniable reason for Mattel to skip the basic and go with an elite. |
