Anyone realistically suggesting Finn being put in the CW division is really disrespecting him and bias to him being not being a main event star.

We've got to remember this is the WWE too. I know this could possibly be disputed but I think most of us see WWEs track record and believe they aren't all in on a guy billed at 190lbs. I see him in a Rey Mysterio position in that he's popular and marketable, but not someone they will push given a guy like Braun or Roman (from a physical stand point) in the same room. Personally I would rather see him wrestle guys like Aries or Neville even if it is on the ...mid card over getting rag dolled by Braun or Brock. The biggest issue here is the credibility of the CW division. I'm not sure if there was, but I don't recall much issue with him being a IWGP Junior weight mainstay.

Aries didn't win a top world title in WWE prior to being in the CW division. After being Universal Champion, being moved to the CW division would be the ultimate slap in the face to Finn and would blow his entire character and everything he's worked for to hell. It would also be a major indicator to the audience that the WWE had given up on him.

I still don't fully understand why the cruiserweights only wrestle each other. That's not how the cruiserweights worked in WCW or WWE the first time. Same reason the belts all look alike now. Vince wants the WWE to be more like the UFC. Even if it was for only 24 hours he was the first universal champion so no you can't now drop him down to the CW division. Hell there shouldn't even be a "Cruiserweight Division". They should have just made it an annual tournament culminating at WrestleMania where the winner has bragging rights (the championship) until the next years tournament. Sure they could still have the champion defend it at certain PPV 's throughout the year, but for the most part every cruiserweight be should in contention for all the titles throughout the year only focusing on the cruiserweight championship during the annual tournament. This would have been a very good idea.

I feel like that would be a major demotion for him.

Or it could legitimize a dying division with a guy small enough to do both divisions. someone like Kendrick example. Former wwe champion, but hes psrt of the cruiserweights. If he can do it so can Balor.

Unless I forgot something Kendrick was a tag team champion in the WWE, but the only singles title he held in the wwe was the Cruiserweight championship.

Google WWE title history. Google championships that Kendrick has won. Google Unforgiven 2008 results. Screenshot what you find and post it.

See for only 9.99 a month I can turn on the wwe network, and i can watch Brian Kendrick pin Jeff hardy in 2009 for the wwe title. It's as simple as that.

The Brian Kendrick won that title and defended that title no matter the outcome.

Hint: It isn't Kendrick You can keep living in the alternate reality though.

As overrated as I think he is, that's probably a bit too much of a step down. He'd make a great Intercontinental Champion in my opinion. He's wasted feuding with the ing Drifter, but is far too small to be believable against Brock Lesnar.
