I love the figures we've gotten so far. But I also would have really loved to see Mattel make them as though they were continuing the line where Hasbro left off-even though we wouldn't get guys like Jarret or Owen Hart....ie guys like Diesel, Goldust, Men On A Mission, Waylon Mercy, Bob Backlund, Bastion Booger, Duke The Dumpster Drose, The Quebecers, Jerry The King Lawler, Face version of Doink The Clown etc....I know there's no way they could sell half those names today but just something I would have gotten a kick out of lol....
as far as the next real set, I'd like to see Diesel, Stroman, Bray Wyatt, Goldust, Vince McMahon, AJ Styles

We have multiple Mattel figures of Nash, with the HOF figure on the way, and King and Goldust are active employees.

Honestly though, aren't most people that are buying these buying the complete set anyway? Except those that are buying them but don't watch the current product to don't want the more recent guys. Maybe they could just low pack the lower tier guys in the cases? Like only put one of the obscure guys and 2 each of the bigger names. I think they would sell. I want guys like MOM, Booger, Quebecers, Sparky Plug, Mercy, etc.

Now that Mattel know these are a goldmine there's a huge amount of potential for future figures and some variants. Just with the classic guys we've had released so far, you could re-release them with alternate gear later down the line.
Rock with shirt and pants during his pec-job time in '99 Dude Love, Cactus Jack or debut all-brown Mankind Triple H in any number of attires (Green/black dX, black early 00s etc) Undertaker in ministry or ABA attire Stone Cold with jeans shorts and Austin 3:16 shirt Sting in WCW surfer gear (a million options here) or Wolfpac red & black. Kane in his 00s attire Warrior had a million looks to choose from like Sting.
I'm gonna buy them all anyway, and as long as Diesel comes along next year I'll be happy with whatever they give me.

Really hoping for Sting in Surfer gear too but with different mold. I want more Warriors, but I really don't want to see that same mold again.
And I really hope we don't need to wait until 2018 for S3. Wish they could get up to like 4 waves a year.

Hopefully the first figure out of the new ones to have an accessory is Goldust with a removable wig. I'd really like to see future Undertaker releases included an Urn and a Bret Hart with removable jacket or sunglasses. As it's been said, I'd also love to see figures include classic titles like the IC belt and some classic tag titles to add to the Hasbro world belt.

On a side not how much would this place go into meltdown if Dude Love got released in this line and still no elite? I'd have to laugh, even if I want that elite too.

I read somewhere that Mattel Retros are selling well and they're having a ring? Am I right?

All I've ever wanted in life are a Hasbro Barbarian and a Hasbro Power and Glory. I know that, even if this line continues for thirty years, I will never get those figures, but if some deity above could make this happen for me, I'd really appreciate it.
Like others have said, what we really need are the gaps from the original Hasbro line filled. In addition to the names I mentioned above, that means Haku, Dino Bravo, Hart Foundation Anvil, Bad News Brown, Tugboat, Orient Express, Col. Mustafa, and white trunks Tito.
If they do classic guys that Hasbro already made, they should try to cover an era Hasbro didn't get to. Hogan, for instance, should either be in his Mega Maniacs gear with yellow wristbands or should be shirtless with a headband rather than a bandana to give us ring gear from pre-1991. Savage should be in Macho King gear with long tights. Jake should be the heel version with a Cobra. Bret should be in all pink or all black, Etc. etc. The Warrior they did was a total waste because it had already been made (better) in the original line.
Other than that, any guys from the years subsequent to the Hasbro line ending are fine. It's a cool novelty to see newer guys in Hasbro style and I'm actually more excited for those figures that redos of legends that Hasbro already made. The key is to be as consistent as possible in terms of accessories and detailing. That means no unnecessary accessories and some extraneous entrance gear (vests, hats, etc.) molded onto the figures themselves. For example, while I love the Austin they made, a legitimate Hasbro version of that figure would absolutely have had a vest.

I may be in the minority but I absolutely don't think there's a need for many, if any more modern guys in this line. Maybe Orton and Zack Ryder.
This is a retro line, keep it retro! There are too many classic guys, attires and such to do without wasting time on some of the modern roster. Nobody's gonna buy a Titus O Neill Retro fig, I don't want the line to end before we get guys like Diesel and King.
