Hey guys, a few years ago I purchased this unpainted prototype Jake the Snake head off of eBay. The price was great, and the sellers description intrigued me. He described it as a prototype 2up from the old school table hockey game. My brother and I had that when we were kids and we both loved it. Unfortunately the table was thrown out (without us knowing ) but we managed to hold onto a majority of the little figures that attached to it. Anyway, I've had this Jake head for a while now, and have never seen or heard of anything like it since. I've since seen the hasbro 2ups so I became curious if that's what this really is, or if the seller was correct. What do you guys think? photos.app.goo.gl/qKTtboR4anTl0TJy1

Well it's definitely not a 2up unless you/he has tiny childlike hands. It's massive. And to say it's a 2 up of the hockey table figures is ludicrous, because they are even smaller than Hasbros, a 2 up of the hockey figure head would be a little bigger than a hasbro head. This is the size of a fist

Seems weird as a prototype head for the hockey table figures; those were in one piece.
I'm thinking it's a Mattel proto for Magnum TA or maybe even Jakks Jake...

There's no doubting it's Jake, but it's just not a 2 up, it's bloody massive

I'm wondering if maybe there was a planned jake the snake Roberts Ljn stretch wrestler and this is the prototype head or possibly a proto head for a unreleased figure from the Spain line of large figures?

The Star Toys of Spain figures had real hair (except Big Boss Man) and Jake was released. This head looks more recent, I'd even say realscan technology.

I'm wondering if the Jake could be a 2up version of the 12" Unreleased line? I once owned the Hogan in the pic below (pic not mine). 2017-07-28_07-55-06 by C Taylor, on Flickr After zombiesailorstoys showed the Maco Man drawing that matches with the head above, I figured the Hogan and Undertaker in the pic were also meant for the 12" line. Just a guess, but maybe the Jake head is the 2up version from the 12" line. Hopefully zombiesailorstoys has a Jake sketch that he will reveal in the future!

95% sure that Taker head is the same head that was bundled with the orange card heads. apart from the beard looking a bit like poo, it looks really good painted.

They do look very similar or the same. I am pretty sure all the ones in the pic above are rubber (except gunn). The hogan that I had was hand painted rubber. I am no 2up expert so was wondering if any other rubber 2up heads are out there? If not, it would lead me to believe that macho man, hogan, taker, and maybe jake were to be in the 12" line. I could be totally wrong though. Lol
