I apologize if this is the wrong thread, but I was messing around with spare parts I had and came with a solution for the size of the ASR. I took the Jakks style turnbuckle pads and hooks, and put them on the ASR. I feel like it helps with the size a lot. What do you all think?

Looks great! I think this would be more Mattel board oriented, but I think they'll move it if necessary. I have always been opposed to how massive this ring is but something about those turnbuckles draws the in ring area tighter. Great idea!

I do that myself too, looks far better than the ASR pads and it's way easier to change the ropes out!

hmmm, are the hooks a different size on the Jakks ones? I like the pads still for the ASR but Id love to have the ropes further in.

hmmm, are the hooks a different size on the Jakks ones? I like the pads still for the ASR but Id love to have the ropes further in. There isn't too much of a difference, but the Mattel ones still seem a little smaller. The Jakks ones are able to turn like real turnbuckles.
