I'm fine with it, if it's like the original program and is used as a platform to feature artists. If they air music videos, have interesting interviews, and do live performances of up and coming artists I'm cool with that. If it's just used to talk about twitter beef then I'm not interested.

If they actually played full music videos and a entertaining personality hosting it could do just fine. But this whole generation of tweens and teens have been watching music videos on Youtube and streaming music online for the better part of their lives.

It's funny that MTV stands for "Music Television" cause of their lack of anything to do with music and all.

MTV is a disaster. I remember when I was a kid I wanted an MTV shirt so badly. But they weren't easy to find around here. Last week we were school shopping for my son and I saw a MTV shirt for him. I instantly went "yeah... no" and walked away.
