So super 7 are releasing WWE figures in the old m.u.s.c.l.e style
Will they branch out and do other WWE related items?
They did motu figs on this style then branched out to do other motu figs in a Kenner retro style so be awesome to see some WWE figs in that style too
What do people think about the line? Great to see it's all 80s and early 90s superstars

Not sure if I will collect these. Still on the fence.

Pretty cool!
Wrestlers in the ReAction-line would be nice, although they only seem to get the faces right on fictitious characters (MOTU, Street Fighter)...

These are pretty neat. They have a solid line-up of 80's legends. I'm glad to see companies taking chances on different style products.

The m.u.s.c.l.e figs were my biggest surprise at sdcc. Recently I had got the urge to collect some old m.u.s.c.l.e figs and the new motu ones. So awesome that I can add all these legends to the collection.

the muscles look cool, i'd only get em if they had paint apps. if super 7 did any 3.75 wwe figures, i'd be all over that...reaction style or whatever

Pretty cool, I was JUST thinking recently how neat it would be to have had WWF/E figures like the AWA Mini Mashers. Then these pop up! Maybe I'll get some, and I agree if they did 3.75" figures or thereabout, I'd probably get whoever was included from the classic characters.

Exactly. I almost pulled the trigger on the Street Fighter MUSCLES a month ago, but I'm glad I held off. The WWF characters are a much better fit for the line. The original MUSCLES figures were based on Kinnikuman, an anime show I still haven't seen yet and which features super-powered wrestlers beating the crap out of each other. So to have super-powered 80s American wrestlers who beat the crap out of each other be made into MUSCLES figures is brilliant. Really brilliant in that it blends two things I'm nostalgic for into one package. Haven't been able to find any release date info, though. I hope these come out soon.

And duh...it was right there in the pic. Edit: Actually, Winter 2017 already passed. Maybe just a typo? Unless I'm mistaken, I remember seeing pics of these or similar figs from a convention from the previous year, so I'm not sure if this is something that's been trotted out for a while now.

Maybe they mean December this year.
Not wrestling related but I just got the trash can full of wave 1 of masters of the universe MUSCLES and I really like them. If someone out there is on the fence,I say do it.

Are you in the southern hemisphere? Keep in mind that Super 7 is an American company, so Winter 2017 basically means the end of the year.

I teach at a (US) university, so I automatically thought of Winter 2017 in terms of the quarter system (winter quarter runs from Jan-Mar). As others have mentioned, winter really only involves the last couple weeks of the current year, running through the end of February of the next. I seem to have memories of toys being advertised for winter coming out at the beginning of a year rather than the end, but it's neither here nor there...if it comes out end of this year, great.

Gotcha. Well, unfortunately, unless it's something tied to a property with a concrete release date (like a film), then it's a crapshoot. Whenever I see something advertised as Winter or 4th quarter, I'd say you can expect it to show up anywhere from November to March depending on where you live and what store you're trying to buy it from.

If someone out there is on the fence,I say do it. awesome, I just broke down and ordered the full set of wave 2 on the blister cards. Now if The Loyal Subjects started making blind box figures of WWE legends that'd be the best.

I will def. pick these up. Love the nostalgia and I hate the whole overpriced blind bag figure craze. I'd much rather pick these up which look awesome, give me a good amount of figures in one buy and should give me a clear idea of what the heck I'm getting character wise. In a perfect world these guys will get as much license properties as Funko for the Pop Vinyl.
