Bad enough the poor girl got injured and missed her big SS match. But then the fans on RAW boo her for no apparent reason. I legit felt bad for her. It's simple marino13: This ain't 1985 Hulkamania era anymore, her goody-two-shoes-always-happy-persona is terrible, her promo ability is terrible. A more seasoned performer would not have acknowledge those boos like she did, she was just feeding the sharks in the water basically. This whole gimmick has flopped on the main roster and her getting some time off to heal may be the best thing that ever happened to her career now. This is why I love my hometown crowd in Toronto - probably the most SMART crowd in wrestling that will be honest about the product. There were crickets for Jordan's entrance and "Let's go jobber" for the enhancement wrestler because the whole Jordan/Angle storyline sucks. And really is WWE THAT dumb that they want to push Jordan as a face, yet pairs him up with a home-town enhancement wrestler? What did they think was going to happen? The crowd was over-the-moon for Jinder on SDL even though the rest of the US seems to look down on the guy because they know how genuinely he appreciates this opportunity he's getting.

Her character isn't aimed at Elitist Smark snobs anyway. Its a character for Kids to look up to.

Bayley's goody goody act is just okay as far as I'm concerned. But the way I look at it is, not everyone can act like Stone Cold. Not everyone can be a dominant heel. We need to have a variety of characters. And the kids deserve to have some aimed at them as well. So let her do her thing. I try to always be respectful of the talent when I get to go to a show. Whether I'm a fan of their character or not. I honestly think they are being very smart with Jason Jordan and Angle at the moment. I could be wrong, but the way I took that angle on Monday was Kurt knew Bo was about to get a whooping from Brock when he booked that match. He wanted JJ to have the advantage. When Bo couldn't go, Kurt found the weakest talent in the building. Next JJ will get an IC title shot he hasn't earned. Probably stack the odds against Miz. I see this as a way to turn both Kurt & Jason heel. As for the crowd chanting Jinder, I assumed that was because he's really from Canada. But I wasn't there, so I dunno.

Canadians are so smart, yet they buy tickets just to disagree with the product....yeah, brilliant. You gave them your money and now they can do whatever they want regardless of your boos. You are "bizarro" world to them. They laugh it off on commentary. Continue being "smart" though. Like marino13 said not everyone can be the same flavor. Reigns and Jinder are boring to me, but some people like them. A lot of people just lile being contrariots. Bayley is a colorful and happy character that some of us find attractive. If skinny blonde is the only type you have, then fine, but lets not pretend we watch women wrestling for the promos.....

But here's the thing, Bayley doesn't have to be Stone Cold. What she needs to do is ensure her character's behaviour and actions are congruent. Don't be the role model for little girls and blatantly ignore the fact that you did not win the belt fairly and refuse to do the right thing - whoever wrote that for her missed the point of the character completely. She really needs to find that voice on the mic or get some more coaching backstage. You can see she's absolutely terrified trying to remember her script and pull it off sincerely at the same time.
I'm not an actor or a wrestler obviously, but if I'm supposed to be a face I'm not going to blatantly point out the boos even though everyone can hear it - just push through with the promo. She doesn't have the skill like John Cena to handle the boos. I'm sure Bayley is a fine person with the best of intentions but her character is a disaster right now. My 1985 comment was more around the fact that the audience is no longer innocent and naive, even the most casual of fans are connected via social media.
Charlotte isn't one of my favourites, but she's a perfect example of how to play her character. She's almost a tweener right now, gets respect for her in-ring work and still can be arrogant when she wants to. She still has a habit of cutting people off prematurely in promo banter but you can see she's trying to improve. Bayley needs a break to regroup that's all I'm saying.

I don't know how true it is but we're now reporting that Vince was pissed about the boos for Bayley. What do you think that does for her career going forward? It's not a fair shake to the talent if Vince suddenly decides he's lost interest.

I have unconditional love for Bayleys character. Her amd Daniel Bryan are the reason I decided to keep watching in 2014 when I hadnt given two craps about wrestling since I was 11 or 12. Im over pscho analyzing characters and company motives. I watch when I can or want to. If you dont like it then go watch something else. I have friends that swear by NJPW and ROH. Not for me, but maybe someone that seems to dislike 70% of the product and boos and bitches it would be better maybe? Idk. Bayley is the hottest chick they got though and like the only reason I watch Raw. So ill be chillin over at SDLive...

Time off TV is what she needs. It's not even Toronto, many other cities aren't even reacting to her entrance anymore. I think the goody act works in 2015. Men, women and children all loved her. As you said though, the writing on the main roster has done her no favors.

They rushed the title win, which should've been a slow build. Also, she's been booked to not be likeable, but simply immature, which is a big difference.

Being injured sucks, but this could be a blessing in disguise. If her and her awfulness are off my TV, that's a blessing.
