God, I miss the days, when a big level feud, had you waiting with anticipation for the time when the two guys would finally have a match, and lock up for the first time. Always made the matches special when they finally happened. Now you have no anticipation for a match, because WWE is just going to have that same match a dozen times, over and over again, with just a different stipulation. This is one of the things on the list of problems with the company, and quite frankly shows a large deal of laziness from Vince and the 'creative' team. Very much agreed on all counts. The buildup was fun for big time matches. You'd have promos, call outs, run-ins, MAYBE a tag match along the way, but you would barely see the two guys anywhere near each other until the match, which in turn, made the match special. Hell, it made matches feel special that wound up sucking. Ah, the good ol' days. /getoffmylawn 7/30 - WWE gives us 3/4 of the SummerSlam Fatal 4-Way Match 8/7 - WWE gives us 1/2 of the SummerSlam Fatal 4-Way Match 8/13 - Expecting WWE to give us up to 3/4 of the participants in a build up match to SummerSlam 8/21 - Expecting WWE to give us up to 3/4 of the participants in a re-match from SummerSlam Legit LOL'd

Roman wins again.....yawn. Braun beat Roman at Payback and Great Balls Of Fire. And Roman just won the triple threat. He also beat Braun at Fastlane. Let's not act like both of those wins were completely clean either. At Payback they harped on the fact that Reigns wasn't ready to compete and that Braun was taking advantage of a wounded man. At GBOF Reigns stupidly ran into the ambulance from a botched spear. Then completely destroyed Braun and nearly killed him. Yeah I'll give them the props for giving Braun the wins but they completely protect Roman while doing it, as if Braun is getting lucky.

I really liked this feud at first. But enough already. We went from WWE not letting feuds develop to having the exact same matches week after week after week. Thats become a huge problem in WWE. All feuds are developed and run through the same matches every week. Instead of brainstorming and creating an angle to build to a match, they rely on cheap tactics and whatnot to build to yet another match. See AJ/Owens. 100% agreed. How many stip matches are these 2 gonna have? I dont even know why WWE bothers with half their stips since they wont allow any of the true violence or blood to happen. And Im not a huge hardcore or deathmatch fan at all. I just think if you are going to blow a feud off with something like Last Man Standing or an Ambulance match, it needs to have some sort of payoff. IN the current WWE world, its impossible to do so and the performers are handcuffed.

Every Roman/Braun match has delivered. I expect this to too.

The stip matches is where Roman shines IMO, so ill look forward to this match tonight, even though this should have been on the next RAW PPV, not a few weeks before Summerslam.
