Hi guys,
I've always wanted to do a Wrestlemania or Summerslam, and given we already know Summerslam is in Brooklyn next year, it feels like the ideal opportunity to bite the bullet and go, and it gives me an excuse to go to NYC for a few days again, I love the place. Does anyone have any advice on the best way to go about getting tickets? Are the packages best value? Any advice greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

I did Summerslam and the top packages for 4 years straight. If you want the best seats in the house, that is obviously the way to got, but imo, the value just isn't there anymore with the top package coming in at over £3500 after conversion etc.
I hear that buying tickets individually is a bit of a headache though as the NY market is lucrative, so it might be best considering a gold package if you want decent central tiered seats across the board. Platinum isn't really worth it as it's floor seats but row 3-5 which means you could be a little far back on the floor, meaning not a decent view.

Thanks man, that's awesome, appreciate the advice, I imagine the packages won't go on sale until early next year so there is time yet to have a think and have a look at what's available.

Yep, the trend for the past 5 years or so is early/mid March for package on sale date. Unfortunately though they don't give you the total breakdown on costs until they are actually on sale, so the prices quoted are based on 4 people sharing a hotel for three nights/events (NXT/SS/RAW). The prices go up obviously when you factor in another night & Smackdown and less people.

Would you go on your own?

I got my tickets for 2016's Summerslam on StubHub as the tickets on Ticketmaster sold out in seconds. StubHub comes with inflated prices and fees, but they at least have a Fan protext Guarantee which means if the tickets from the seller don't arrive you get other tickets or at least your money back in worst case scenario.
I also bought Takeover tickets on the day as they went down to $10 a ticket one StubHub the day of the show.
Flights and hotels were done through Expedia.
