They need the Smackdown Tag Titles yet, so no, they need not split up any time soon.
I think they will remain a tag team until Wrestlemania 34, then after that they will probably do their singles thing.

Jeff has been drug free for years I feel it would be a way of WWE appreciating that. As for Matt most people consider him never winning a world champion in the WWE. Although I consider the ECW champion to be a world champion. I think it would cool to see him finally have his moment.

The more I think about it I have to say no. We have lost enough tag teams this year.

Not right now, we've had enough perfectly good tag teams inexplicably separated.

absolutely not. the money is in them changing character to the broken thing they were doing in TNA. everyone wants to see it. let them become the darker, more interesting personalities and its entertainment enough. there are enough mid-card guys in the company and nobody is getting near the main title besides reigns/strowman/lesnar for the next year probably

Until they have something interesting for them to do on their own then hell no.

I said this when they left TNA and rumors were circulating they may be coming to WWE. The only reason they were brought in is for nostalgia, to sell merch, and put over guys in the tag team division. I don't think there's any interest in using them for anything other than that.

Put Jeff on Smackdown, Matt on Raw and let him become broken. Neither of them need to turn heel, they can just have them separate by splitting them apart in some form of trade.

I don't think Jeff looks that motivated anymore. He's already made it to the top and became WWE champion. Keeping them as a team is probably best for WWE and Hardy's. Remember RVD's last run. He was just phoning it in and I think Jeff would do the same on his own.

The thing is, there's not much for them to do without the Broken gimmick. So if they can't get that back, then let them remain a team for now. It'll preserve their bodies, it'll extend their careers. If WWE has WM plans for Jeff or Matt, then don't do a break up, just have them get mixed up in separate story lines. Last thing I want is another Matt vs Jeff feud.
I do like the idea of moving them to SD. Maybe in exchange for New Day. That way the Hardy's can claim another new tag title reign before going their separate ways... again.
