The Wrestlemania plan has been set since the last Wrestlemania and everyone continues to act shocked when Brock wins. Roman vs Brock 2. Always has been the plan. AKA the reboot of 2013's "Twice in a Lifetime", the sequel to 2015's reboot of "Once in a Lifetime".

Yeah, I mean, it’s been blatantly obvious that this was leading to Roman Reigns coronation #3 since before Brock even beat Goldberg.

Enzo winning the title and Neville getting his comeuppance (for the time being) was great. Very nice story told in that match and Enzo is really entertaining. I loved the Raw Talk interview.

To Roman...and you're going to love it because that's what you're supposed to do.

Brock beating Strowman clean in that amount of time is a joke. It's like the only stars they want to build is Roman and Brock, while everyone else is chump change. Meh. Atleast I have Global Wars to look forward to next month. Going there live

Cena putting Roman over on Raw Talk. This company refuses to give up on pushing Roman Reigns even though the fans are pushing back against the Reigns push. They're either really stubborn or they don't care what the fans think and will do what WWE pleases to do and force the fans to like it. Like what I feared would happen, they're using the tactics they learned during Cena's heyday to their full effect. Dismiss certain fans' boos and rejection, call the superstar "controversial", and only acknowledge the cheers of the young'uns and the " true believers". The 'E realized they don't have to cave into fan sentiment in the late 2000s, now many of us will be subject to the next decade of The Big Dawg Era.

ok so let me get this straight.... you take a guy booked like Braun. He's a ing MONSTER, legit. I know in the scheme of the company he's a heel...hes supposed to lose, get his comeuppance...etc, its classic wrestling 101. but the problem here is that the fans ARE TIRED OF THAT MODEL. people want something fresh, they want something exciting, they want something different. Braun has been built to be different. He's everything we all bitched about....but somehow everyone loves the guy, maybe it was just because he beat the ever loving hell out of Reigns, maybe it's because he was given the Ryback push (at one point Ryback was one of the most over guys on the roster) and people really just enjoy watching Braun throw guys around. Not to mention there are a TON of babyface characters on RAW right now who could get a title shot. Braun being champ actually gives them the opportunity. He's there every week, he can wrestle pretty damn good and he can make smaller guys look good too. Braun is less of a "business guy" than Roman....Braun came from the non-wrestling world, straight up. Roman at least has wrestling in his blood and started off as a small guy in developmental. Braun is legit one of the guys we are supposed to not like getting a push, but it works because it's been executed PERFECTLY. Tonight was the night of change. It was supposed to be something different, a NEW direction, give us something else besides the status quo.....but instead they saved the belt for Brock again, gave a completely lame-ass boring finish that was nothing different or exciting than anything we've seen on RAW the last ing year....and now we just wait until Big Dog wins his next Royal Rumble, main events his 4th consecutive Royal Rumble and takes the secondary championship (now made to look like the #1 because its going to Roman and ONLY because of that) from the big bad beast who's conquered everyone else in his path before him. This entire thing is just to set up Roman Reigns as the greatest wrestler in the history of the business. And it's ing DISGUSTING at this point.

The Wrestlemania plan has been set since the last Wrestlemania and everyone continues to act shocked when Brock wins. Roman vs Brock 2. Always has been the plan. I think people are just hoping that maybe Vince will pull his head out of his ass someday and see how he keeps making things worse. It happened before, when WCW started kicking their ass. But I see no WCW on the horizon. And to think that Vince had the nerve to portray JR as the one with his head up his ass - JR is just crabby and oblivious these days, Vince is the rectally inserted cranium menace.

Yeah i'm taking a hiatus until mid next year. I just cant watch this anymore. Its absolute clear as day they are going with Reigns/Lesnar at WM. I really hope people dont get their hopes up at Royal Rumble because we all know its happening. In a way, Im kind of bummed because i always loved the RR and build up to WM but the fact that its been spoiled this early completely pulls me away from the product. I cant believe WWE allows their product to be this predictable and stale.
Roman Reigns gets 4 WM main events in a row while a guy like CM Punk couldnt sniff one.

Word of the night for me is underwhelmed..
Those 2 big main event matches were not fun to watch.. I wasn't entertained by Cena/Reigns and I hated how super simple and by the book Brock/Braun was.
Just not a fan of what happened.. It really doesn't make any sense.

Thought it was a great show up until Cena/Reigns. What a terrible match that was. From Cena making a joke of the match at the start all the way to the finish, 1 spear. This was supposed to be the next Rock/Hogan, Cena/Rock but it fell completely flat. Reigns cant dance with Cena then it says something.
Strowman/Lesnar was garbage. I swear I am done getting excited for a 1v1 Lesnar match. They all just suck. I got excited for Lesnar/Joe and it sucked. I was excited for this and what do you know, it sucked.
Jeez, just put the title on AJ on Smackdown so fans have a main event they can actually enjoy.

I legit havent enjoyed a Brock match in like 2 years. I'm so over this dudes underwhelming "mailing it in" matches. I wish he'd train for another UFC run so he can right off asap. This guy is straight up single handily destroying the whole product. Then we got ing Jinder Mahal as WWE champion on SD. Holy crap what a hole this company is in right now

Did anyone seriously ing think he would drop it to anyone except Roman? Really? Because that's been obvious since he won the title. Hell, it was obvious when Goldberg won the title. It's not their fault you got your hopes up for Braun to win, because it's blatant that Roman/Brock is the main event of WM34, and Roman will likely "retire" Brock.

Brock Lesnar was looking a little flabby tonight too. Like he hasn't even lifted weights for a while.
They buried Braun Strowman nicely. He could have been the WWE's new next big thing but nope, gotta keep Lesnar around for some strange reason.

I feel sad after watching No Mercy. I don't think I love wrestling anymore. I don't have it in me to support this crap anymore.

Thought the Cena/Reigns match was alright. Could have been so much more. Reigns has certainly put on better matches with less talent across the ring for PPVs, though.
Have ZERO idea why they wouldn't put the strap on Braun tonight. That was a complete, and utter waste. Haven't seen a questionable decision that bad since Bray losing to Cena way back when.
Overall, it was an alright PPV, but -- nothing I couldn't have caught up on tomorrow night.

Like, I get Cena wanted to make Reigns look good which is why he didn't kick out of the spear but that was just a mistake since an old man with a broken hip kicked out of double the amount of finishers and signatures he did at Wrestlemania
