Anthem was stupid for taking it on in the first place. There was an irreversible stench attached to TNA. It had virtually no assets, a tape library that wasn't worth nearly what they thought it was, and a TV deal that wasn't even remotely lucrative. The only "solution" they could then muster to alleviate these problems was to rehire the guy who couldn't elevate the company to begin with, and adopt his pipedream phantom promotion with no name value.
This really, really, really should be the final nail in the coffin, but some idiot with money will come along and bail them out again, only to wind up in this exact position a few months down the road.
Wash, rinse, repeat right? This company needs to be put out of its misery.
