I used to be a huge bendem fan in the mid to late 90s. I had almost every series complete. I stopped collecting right before the final 3 series of bendems came out! I know that the final series of bendems (Rikishi, Tazz, Grandmaster Sexay, Scotty 2 Hotty) are near impossible to find. Even on ebay they are rarely ever on there. I personally have never seen a Scotty 2 hotty for sale.
My question is why are they so sought after and impossible to find? Was there a very short print on them or something?

The first 13 seem to be largely available and pretty cheap in comparison to the other two series. Series 14 is popular as it had the Hardy Boyz and Jericho. I did not collect them when they originally came out, but the series' seemed to come out rapid fire and I think people may have lost interest by the time they finished. The last series was not really a bunch of big names other than The Rock version which had been done previously. The last series figures made were new characters and were popular for the time, but not the big names you had gotten in other series. At some point, they put older series figures in plastic bags with a cardboard serving as a header to hang them and they were in dollar stores for $1.99 or less.
I have only seen two Scotty figures for sale and I have one of them in the stick thread above these.

the hardy boys figs are awful! as the bend ems went on they started doing them with tiny heads and oversized bodies! Did Justoys merge with a new company that was producing the bendems under the Justoys name? There was quite a difference between most of the series' until the last few with the tiny bodies.

part of the problem with the later waves is that stores stopped carrying them. There was an absolute flood of wrestling products at the time, between all of Jakks' lines, WCW Toybiz and their 50 lines, lingering WCW OSFTM garbage, and ECW OSFTM in places. Unlike in 1995 when the line started, there just wasn't shelf space for the WWF JusToys line. I know by the end, the only places I was finding them were Dollar General and Grocery stores. I got my Hardys and Jericho from Cubs grocery store, at the steep fee of $5.99 each. I assume by the Too Cool/Rikishi/Tazz wave, almost no one was stocking them. Limited distribution plus the end of the line spells very few actually making it into collector's hands. Plus they have never been a truly desireable line, so even less have been sought out by collectors.
Just like the end of Hasbro, the JusToys line ended in a perfect storm

I can still remember seeing that Tazz & GMS sitting on the shelf of my grocery store for we'll over a year.
