That was a nasty injury for Cesaro, particularly heart shatteringly painful given he didn't just knock em out, he drove them harder into his skull. Awful. I myself have had the pleasure of such an injury on my myriad of adventures, made me harder to know for people but I digress.
The Swiss Man is a god!
Do you think that this will be spun into a new direction for both Cesaro and Sheamus?
It seemed clear that the intended finish was to fuel a split for my fave Europeans on the roster. And it may in fact be the plan for Cesaro to go heel. With that in mind do you see them going with Heel Cesaro against a babyface Sheamus?
Without close attention by bookers this could be horrible. Sure the two can work a awesome match together but Shea is never booked good as a baby face singles guy.
But with some finesse, this can work wonderfully for both.
I wonder if they'll give Cesaro some Toothless Aggression, a cold ruthless streak would destroy his upupdowndown career or vice versa but would be the key ingredient needed to get him into position for a spell as one of the headliners which he thoroughly deserves.
So, sorry I rambled a bit but what do you make of the potentially forthcoming slapfest between The Bar?

Well it didn't make Nasty Boys Jerry Sags a World Champion and the same thing happened to him in 1988 when he lost his tooth on the top of a ring post, so I doubt this is gonna make Cesaro a World Champion any time soon.

The only way I can see Cesaro as world champ is if he has a manager as his mouth piece (no pun intended)

I really don't think he needs a "mouth piece". Countless superstars have got to the gold without one when the rocket strap is securely strapped on.
It simply does not count for much either in today's WWE. Even Heyman's rhetoric has reached the point of diminishing returns.
However since it's an obsession for some.. suggestion..
Titus Brand.
Titus is a good manager or agent, engages with the audience when given the platform and also someone who eventually Cesaro can turn on and stay dark-side. Titus is likeable which means Cesaro can "use" Titus to propel him forward and eventually cut ties with him once he has got what he needs. And he can cut ties brutally.
Or Tyson Kidd would be a cool choice if we must as at least fans would connect with that.

Cesaro just never seems to be able to put it all together when he's on his own. He seems much more comfortable when he has a partner to bounce off of, whether that's Swagger, Sheamus, Kidd, or even Ohno/Hero.
Some guys thrive as a tag team specialist, and Cesaro is one of them.

Cesaro is a tag team guy. He's been in three amazing tag teams throughout his years and although he may be a singles guy later, he is thriving as a tag team guy and he's found his place.

Eventually? Who knows? Hopefully someday.
But for now, I say leave The Bar together. They have great chemistry and bring out the best in each other.

Guy has all the ability in the world. Easily 1 of the most talented guys, not just on the roster, but on the planet. Dude will be 37 this year though and he's never had a serious push. I feel if they were gonna pull the trigger on him they'd have done it before now.

I'd love to see it.
I doubt I'll see it.
I want to stay optimistic, so I went with maybe.

Cesaro has actually given people a reason to care about Sheamus again, so I see no real benefit in splitting them up. I wouldn't mind seeing them stay together but going for singles gold. Eventually it could lead to a program between the two for a world title if need be.

In a world where Jinder Mahal is WWE Champion, truely anything can happen. I still say it won't though. Cesaro is a tag team guy. Call Ohno up or something and make the Kings of Wrestling reform. Comedy gold, yet a very imposing duo.

The only way I can see Cesaro as world champ is if he has a manager as his mouth piece (no pun intended) Paul Heyman didn't exactly work out spectacularly for him and that's about as good of a manager/mouthpiece combo as you could possibly hope for.

To be fair, Paul was just kind of half-a$$ing it with Cesaro until Brock came back, so Cesaro really wasn't given a fair shot with Heyman.

I've said it since the first day I saw him on WWE TV, Cesaro is NOT WWE World Champion material. Being a phenomenal wrestler does not guarantee you of anything in the WWE nor does it make you deserving of any special opportunity or treatment. You need to be an all around performer (in ring, charisma, connection with the crowd, merchandise, catch phrases, backstage politicking) and listen...5 years in Cesaro doesn't have most of those things. He has peaked.

I love Cesaro, but the Bar is the best he will do in WWE. And that's not too bad a thing.
