It'll be cool like ONCE to see them come out together through the crowd... but to echo nearly everybody else here... MEH.
If they're not all wearing Shield gear, it'll be extra lame.

The only reasons they're doing this is to attempt to get Roman over for the 10,000th time, which will fail, and because Brock is done for the year, so they have no real main event otherwise. Dean and Rollins deserve better than this. It's going to wind up sucking.

Now that this has come to pass, let me say again: this is part of Roman's big ol' Road to Redemption. Letting him run thru all major accomplishments in a single year: beating and retiring the Undertaker, beating John Cena clean, a one-night reunion with his former teammates, likely completing the WWE Grand Slam at some point by winning the the IC Championship, likely winning the Royal Rumble again, going on to Wrestlemania and winning the Universal Championship by finally pinning Brock Lesnar and sending him packing. This will go down as the single biggest year that any WWE Superstar has ever accomplished. All in an effort to get him over.
If you cheer for Dat Dude & the Other 2 Dudes now, you end up being part of the problem. This type of transgression I will not be able to forgive. And I do not forget these types of things. I DO NOT FORGET*.
* Except the times when I do forget.

I'm just not sure how anyone can buy into this, when it's just too blindingly obvious that it's only happening to give Roman something to do between now and the Rumble/Road to Wrestlemania. Plus, they've even given Ambrose & Rollins a couple of months head start to gain some strong face momentum and win the Titles, all in time for Roman to jump on board in yet another inevitable attempt to get some babyface rub, which again, wont happen, and will only sour the momentum that Rollins & Ambrose have had.
I've lost interest.

I don't get why people think it's all for Roman. The Shield are a legendary group and it was obvious from the day they split that they would someday reunite. Think about it all 3 men are on Raw and they're all faces so why not reform a group that brings in huge money?

Shield reunion = Yes! Shield reunion vs Miz/Dallas/Axel = No, not really. I love Miz, but let's be honest, those two teams are not equal in ANY way. Well at least they saw it the same way I did. I mean I like Axel & Dallas, but neither have been built up as legit threats to any member of the Shield. Had this happened in a few months, maybe that could have changed. But for now, Cesaro & Sheamus are a much better fit.

Reform the Shield, form the Bullet/Balor Club, and reform the Wyatt Family and there could be some mighty interesting TV for a while.

I'm not against it. Cesaro, Sheamus and the Miz vs The Shield as an opening gambit of the Shield reunion is pretty damn solid, hopefully this isnt a one and done deal reunion, if Lesnar is indeed off until WrestleMania then we need the Shield as a main event draw to add something interesting to raw until Royal Rumble time.

The Shield had been face for months before their split. Seth turning on them made him the heel. They were heel for a year and a half vs. being face for just over two months. They were by far and large a heel stable. Why focus on when they were faces? That's when they were falling apart. Focus on when they were heels and were a tight-knit group. They were as tight as they were and as strong as they ever were when they were face. They beat evolution two times in a row and nearly took down the authority. They were super over during that period also. Who cares if most of their run they were heels, it's for nostalgia.

I think he's wrestling a special someone at Survior Series who's currently in a pointless feud with Bray boring Wyatt.

If they come through the crowd in Shield gear with the old music, then sure fine...just as long as it is a one night only thing.
If they are hooking Reigns up to the Shield just to pass the time until the Rumble then hell no because you can't sacrifice the merch money of all 3 guys for 2-3 months to put them back in bland non-profitable SWAT gear.
Only cool thing would be is for them to go into the Rumble as the Shield and have it come down to them as the final 3 remaining. That would be cool. Would love to see the crowd for that knowing Roman would win.

Think about it all 3 men are on Raw and they're all faces so why not reform a group that brings in huge money? Probably because it is all for Roman? No one is denying that a Shield reunion was bound to happen someday (and for good reason), but the timing of it is really only to Roman's benefit. It's another attempt to get him over as a babyface by pairing him with two guys who have seen a massive resurgence in popularity over the last few months. This isn't for Seth and Dean, because they don't need it. They're doing great. In fact, this is more than likely going to hurt them in the short term. People are going to scream and cheer and be happy to see the Shield, but the moment they go their separate ways (which will be sooner rather than later), the crowd will be back to cheering Seth and Dean and booing Roman. Hell, they may cheer Seth and Dean and boo Roman during the reunion. This is WWE's final card to play in hopes of getting Reigns cheered when he conquers Lesnar at Wrestlemania. They have nothing else, so they're laying it on the table.

I thought this was going to be about the original Spoiler gimmick and thought "I wonder who they are going to get to be the Spoiler since Don Jardine isn't with us anymore".
