Not true at all. Photograph the item with a good camera, describe it accuarately, pack it safely, use a tracked and insured method of post, then you are 100% covered by eBay's seller protection policy. As for this, well lets says a buyer, buys an expensive Jacket from you and they don't like it or it doesn't fit But you don't accept returns (so they are stuck with it) they could damaged it and return it free, and get all their money back. take all the photos you want, they could simply find a blindspot you missed photo'ing or they could pick the smallest thing to complain about (e.g a loose stitch) and return the item and you have wasted the return postage and original postage. So true it’s happened to me. The no returns means nothing!

Twice I’ve sold things on eBay with no returns clearly stated. Items sell, I post, the buyer chances his mind when he gets the items. They open a case. eBay ALWAYS sides with the buyer. eBay then takes the money from your PayPal usually with out warning. You get the items back. One of them items was sent back because there was a pen in the photo with the figure(it was just sitting in the background). The buyer sent it back and got his money back cause it didn’t come with the pen. You can phone eBay and fight it but eBay always sides with the buyer. I even think now if it’s under £20 you don’t even have to send it back. I know amazon do this as well. The biggest problem with selling it the tax you get hit with after a sale. I usually get hit with 30/40%

You won't pay tax if you sel your stuff, only if you do it as a business and even then you have to be taking a certain amount. To say you paid 30-40% tax is utter rubbish. When I list anything, I photo the items in my house, does this mean the buyer will want my house too? I'm sorry but your speaking out of your backside. Just to add, stating no returns is meaningless. If the item is not as described, by law, not choice, by law you MUST take returns. Also, by law you MUST take returns on buy it now items too. What am I gaining by lying to you’s The last thing I sold was a keyboard for £300 ended up having to pay eBay £106.67 in tax. Plus listings fees. Just checked my PayPal to confirm the amount.

It's just utter nonsense. eBay fees are 10% plus vat. PayPal fees are about 2.5% plus 20p. Besides the fact that your PayPal transaction doesn't show eBay fees. They're billed separately. Nothing to do with PayPal. I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve to be honest

Do you think I’m trying to impress you or something. Well sorry to break your bubble but I don’t want to be your friend I’m not into negative morons. Why don’t you take your negativity and do one so this site can get back to its former glory and not filled with morons like yourself

I've been selling and buying Hasbro figures on Ebay for a few years now. I've been fortunate (knock on wood) to only have a handful of bad experiences from buyers and sellers.
