Only complaint about last night was the main event dragging on way too long. And the whole Kane betraying Braun thing. That was weird.
And that Table did not want to sell for Ambrose last night.

Fun main event. Sometimes all you need is some carnage.

Just finally finished watched the show after opting to go for Sunday Night Football last night instead. Unfortunately, it was a total dud of a game.
Not nearly as high on this show as a lot of people, but it was fine. Asuka's debut was nice. The Women's Title match was decent and the right woman won. The rest of the undercard was entirely forgettable. I thought they carried on with the Elias stuff too long, but at least the crowd was willing to give him a ton of heat, so that saved it from being a total turn off.
AJ/Finn was excellent, as I'm sure everyone expected. I still disagree strongly with the entire premise of delivering the match in the first place, but that doesn't take away from it being great. I was really pleased that the commentary team addressed the situation up front and said that Daniel Bryan/Shane McMahon lent AJ to Raw for one night. WWE has a habit of just ignoring that stuff way too often and going with the premise of "it's fake and no one cares if it doesn't make sense", so to see them actually put the effort in there was a huge plus. Little details like that can really help with engagement. I thought this was Finn's best WWE/NXT match to date. AJ made him look like a total star, and he excelled on his end as well. I think both guys needed a win here, but I understand that they needed to protect the demon gimmick and also give the Raw guy a strong win. This match stole the show, for sure.
I thought the main event started and finished strongly, but was a colossal mess in the middle. Everything from Angle's exit up until his eventual return was a total chore. It ran way too long, had far too many logic gaps, and was just not something that viably works in 2017 for me. With that being said, it was good to see Angle in a ring again getting in his spots and doing (most of it) safely. Rollins and Ambrose showed a ton of fire and seemed to be loving the opportunity, so there certainly were positives in there.
Overall, parts of the main event delivered and the AJ/Balor saved what would've been a pretty bad show otherwise. I'm not sure if the main event would've been more sound with Roman involved, but Kurt's presence definitely helped and the highlights of the match all occurred when he was the focal point.
