Here something for those of us not doing so well...
If you could freeze your life at any age/moment, past, present, or future, what would it be and why? You can put any conditions on it you want (ie: no loved ones dead, you have your new friends with you back then, etc.)
I would go back to 25. I was free for a whole year. My grandma was alive and my grandpa in good health. I got to volunteer with and help animals. I thought I was starting a business. I was truly happy, unlike now. I would like to somehow have my current dog with me though, and my other pets that died before then. I figure no specific time/moment is perfect without some alteration, but......
What about you guys?

Like, 15. Because then I actually enjoyed life and looked forward to becoming an adult. Now that I am an adult, working 7-5 Mon-Fri, life sucks.

Well considering that my best days are ahead of me, I wouldn't want to do that. I like the feeling of living in the present and looking forward to the future. Although I will say, I wish I could've been 23 or 24 for longer. I liked those ages. While 25 is still young, I liked being in my 'early twenties'.
But thank you for posting this as it has made me realise just how lucky and fortunate I am to be in the position I'm in.

I wish I was still the 12 year old me. I was oblivious and the times were good. I was always hanging out with my best friend playing Pokemon together and watching YouTube videos. I was having the time of my life. I was young and kinda dumb but those were the days. Everything in my life was great for what it was.

I want to say 18, despite the bit of depression I felt at that age. I don't think I've ever been fully happy at any age.

Right now, but with all of my grandparents back to life. I feel like I'm getting somewhere with my life now with regards to a job, great friends and stuff. Yes I'm dealing with medical stuff but I've been doing that for most of my life so there's no easy "restore point" to before all of those problems. But yeah, all of my grandparents being gone now is something I'd want to change not just for myself but to bring the entire family back together and make things better for my parents too.

17. Despite being diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, I was going to college and this personality disorder got worse and worse baring many limitations. I walked away from everything, after time I got help. Hard to believe I'm a butcher's apprentice now. I still wear like 2 layers of gloves. I suppose it took me years to learn how to co-operate with the disorder and work around it.
But having walked away from everything to process that it was all happening was a big weight lifted off my shoulders. I didn't have to balance deadlines, thoughts about getting back on track were just "When you're ready. This has been long overdue, work through THIS first."

Age 24 for me. It was the year 2005. That year I somehow dated two of the hottest girls I would ever date. If I could go back to that time and date them again... I would date them every night and as often as I could! haha

Now is pretty good. Gorgeous wife, two jobs actively vying for me. Although it would be difficult not to go back to 19 when I had all of my friends, my parents were alive, I was pulling in over 500 per week under the table, and my shoulder wasn't all torn up.

I'll say 2006. I graduated high school and started college within that year. I hadn't yet lost anyone close to me in my family at that point. My graduation present was a family vacation to Walt Disney World in early June and it remains the greatest trip of my life. I learned so much in 2006 at the age of 17/18 that it would be hard to compare it to any other single year of my life. Life was far from perfect at that age, but I'd want to enjoy the time I had with loved ones a little more if I could.

I wouldn't, all my experiences good and bad have made me who I am. Sure I had some great great times but those are in my past. I look forward to my future no matter what it may bring.

Probably when I was 13 and was in 7th grade, a lot girls in my school had a huge crush on me at the time and I wish I could of dated one of the girls. Also I still had my friends and we would play Halo 3 online. And I'd go in the afternoon and weekend to play with my soccer team at time which I really enjoyed. Life was pretty good for me at that time.

Another great thread idea vampiroporvida! Well done sir. For me, I’d freeze my life at the age of 18, in 1998. (Yes, I’m old) The pros truly outweighed the cons back then for me from a family/mental health state: - My Mum was still alive - My brother and I got along much better than we currently are now - I wasn’t even aware of ASD and as such I was actually: - fit - popular - more socially inclined than I am now - wasn’t anxious and depressed for the majority of the time - energetic and motivated to do things I don’t even dare do now - Had my first job straight out of school and got a level of seniority within six months ...then 1999 happened and it all went to s**t. Oh well. Way it goes, eh? 😄

the end of 2013 and the first half of 2014 were one of my favorite years for me (so far in my life). My parents were still together and my family was still intact. My dog was still alive and I was so comfortable with my life. I was 14, just starting high school and making new friends. Vine was still a thing and I was so energetic and very excited about my future. I was also very Healthy.
my life since the end of 2014 has been very weird and bad but it was for the best. (i guess) Im now out of high school and unfortunatley reality hit me very hard recently and i have a lot of serious life decisions to make.
ugh.

I would relive the year 2008 when I was 20. Not alot of bills, tons of friends, tons of parties, and the year ended with me dating my now wife.
