it would be fantastic if they got the WWE title back on AJ
but this is the WWE, they're probably gonna keep the belt on Jinder until Wrestlemania

Luke Harper. Hey, if they switched Jinder from jobber to World Champion overnight they could easily do the same with Harper, probably with vastly better results.
Seriously though, there's no chance of that happening. SD desperately needs faces, now more than ever after the ending of Shane/KO. The only two who are equipped are AJ and Cena. If it isn't one of those they really need to take someone from Raw. After the Shield angle is over they should send Seth or Roland to SD.
Either way, Jinder needs to lose the title. This has gone on too long, and they couldn't have chosen a worse person. I think the worst part of this is that Rusev was the original choice, and now he's been ruined.

It won't happen at all, but I'd love to see either Braun Stroman or Samoa Joe in a surprise draft or trade for maybe Owens or Orton. I'd love for one of them to step up and get right in his face, taking the title off him.

AJ is what makes the most sense. So I will guess it wont be him.

His title reign is really starting to make me yearn for death.
Almost anyone would be better at this point.

They really need to get someone from RAW in a trade and that person could be the person to challenge Jinder for the title but who? I wouldn't send Ambrose back to Smackdown seeing as how he was just traded from there to RAW a few months ago in the shake up so I would trade Seth Rollins The Architect the 2K18 cover boy to Smackdown and have The Kingslayer be the one to face Jinder for the title and in a trade RAW gets either Owens or Orton in a trade

WWE has their India tour in December so I wouldn’t be surprised if they keep the title on Jinder with a fee throw away fueds between now and then. After that, possibly AJ wins it back at the Rumble leading to AJ & Nakamura at Mania.

If Aj Styles cannot pull an exciting match out of Jinder then surely the WWE know there is no hope for the guy as a main event player?

Jinder will keep belt through till wrestlemania my guess till AJ beats him for it. only reason he is champion is because of the up and coming tour in India.

Funny how WWE deftly, HA!, used the death of Nakamuras momentum to cement the thought of Jinder remaining Champ for months ahead in the minds of many.
Hell wouldn't put it past them to having him win it back even if he loses it between now and Mania.
I think they're going to have Braun win the Rumble and then go over to take the belt at Mania. I mean who else is there.... right.

I like Jinder but lets be honest AJ should be the main guy on Smackdown.

AJ is the most logical but there’s no indications they’re going that way yet.
I’d say Bobby Roode is more than ready but they’ve got him continuing his dumb feud with Ziggler.
Since Jinder won’t be a focal point at Survivor Series why not give someone like Tye Dillinger a quick feud with Jinder. He wouldn’t win but see how he does in a main event feud on a show where the WWE Title won’t be the main focal point of the show.

Whilst the WWE title should be the main focal point of the show, it isn’t always.. During CM Punk’s 2nd WWE title run (424 days) he didn’t main event a PPV for 8 months straight. It doesn’t matter how good or bad of a champion you are, the company will always prioritise whatever feuds and matches (majority gimmick) they please and that’s that 🤷🏽♂️

Since AJ must wrestle Sunil Singh Brother next week, do you figure the AJ-Jinder feud may last a very long time? It is even possible that their title match won’t be until after Survivor Series?
Aj will probably fight Samir in two weeks. He may then face both Bollywood Boyz in a handicap match in three weeks. Then there could be a qualifier’s match, hedging, avoidance, and prevarications. It may be the Royal Rumble before AJ and Jinder are finished with this pairing!

Obviously, AJ.
If Rusev hadn't been beaten by Randy repeatedly, you could turn him face and have him go against Jinder. IIRC correctly when they teamed on Smackdown, Rusev told him that they aren't friends and he wants the WWE Title, so you could build off that.
Bobby Roode is another option but I fear the match quality.
