Seems like this is pretty much a done deal at this point, and the word going around is that this has been building for quite a long time, not that being booked to lose to Enzo suddenly sent him into a rage quit.
Something I hadn't thought of, but is definitely worth mentioning, is the way the Cruiserweight division is structured. The Cruiserweight guys are used sparingly on house shows. Basically, if you're not the champion, there isn't much of a reason to bring you on the road. They take whoever has the belt, and one opponent to face that guy (unless they have a tag match in mind for the circuit that week.) Less dates means less money. It's not out of the realm of possibility that, because of the bookings he was about to lose, Neville wouldn't be making much more (if any more) than his downside guarantee going forward. That's a hard pill to swallow when he was probably used to being a featured act on the touring crew whenever he was healthy, and during his title run. In essence, he'd probably be looking at two dates (Raw and 205 Live) per week, plus no Pay-Per-Views for as long as he's not in the title picture.
With that in mind, he could likely make better money, at least for the next year or so, on the indy scene.

It looks like the rumors are true. As much as I love Neville's work, he's straight up being a little b****. Amazing how entitled someone can be with only two years of being on the main roster. He's not being entitled. He has every right to walk if he wants. He obviously wanted more than be on 205.... Nothing wrong with seeing yourself a Main Event player.

He really shined this past year and can definitely make some money on the Independent scene and if he plays his cards right he can come back to WWE in a couple years like a lot of guys are doing. At least if he wants to and assuming there's no bad blood.
I can't knock him for wanting to get out of the WWE. It's not for everyone. By far, the biggest market but that doesn't always equate to happiness.

Does this mean those that “went off” on Neville for walking out will apologize? Probably not. But hey, that’s the world we live in.

He's not a good wrestler, but he has made the cruiserweight division more entertaining and interesting than it's ever been. It's about more than in-ring skills. Neville and Austin Aries were a step in the right direction, but as far as mic skills go, and making the crowd give a damn, Enzo blows them all away. There were better technical wrestlers than Hulk Hogan or Stone Cold or the Rock, but none of them became megastars. Put it like this the Cruiserweight storyline has closed 2 Raw's which is something you would never have seen. Many will disagree but Enzo has breathed life into that division and it has felt like an important part of Raw. In WWE star power is what matters. If your a draw and sell tons of merch then your valuable to the company and get highly featured. Sadly so many good wrestlers have came and gone but lacked star power to become major players. The cruiserweights have been in the main event slot because Raw's 3rd hour is the least watched hour of the show...

I'd say Colt Cabana could have a potential future guest on his podcast, but after the lawsuit that stemmed from the last guy who walked out on WWE, I don't think he wants to go anywhere near this one.

Obviously id still like to see him in WWE but its great that these guys have other places to go and still make good money. Im not familiar with the indy scene to be honest but good luck to him wherever he ends up.

Hmm let’s see...getting paid more money in the Indy scene while becoming a bigger name or tagging in multi-man matches on 205 while never being on Raw...doesn’t seem like a hard choice.
The CW division is a joke. Why keep them seperate from the main roster? It worked in the past mixing them. Imagine CW champ Neville feuding with Balor. Great feud without necessarily putting the title on the line. Rey Mysterio did it all the time. He was CW champ feuding with guys like Big Show and Team Angle.

I bet you didn't bitch when Punk walked out. I'm sorry, I'm gonna assume you're young and haven't held a job. Yes, it is extremely unprofessional regardless of who did it. Also, guys like CM Punk and Stone Cold walked out — unprofessional — but they've gained a lot more seniority at the time than someone who has only been on Raw for two years. It doesn't excuse their actions, but I definitely didn't see them as whiney babies the way I see Neville right now.
